Private ultrasound scans - Scotland

Hi folks,

Anyone gone private for an early scan? you can't get an early reassurance scan in my area but there is a company - healthcarenow ltd in Edinburgh - that offer early scans from 7-11 weeks for £55.

Anyone been for something similar or know of another route?

I am also having HcG levels done next week but I would like the reassurance of an early scan since I m/c at 8.5 weeks (discovered at 11wks) last time.

I'm afarid I can't make the meet as it's my dad's 60th birthday that weekend so I'll be at a nice hotel near Peebles with the family! Have a lovely time, though.

I've booked my 20 weeks scan at Healthcare Now in Stafford St & it's on 27th November. Very exciting!

actually, went to Glasgow fort last weekend, it was quite a good place to shop..:O)

how are you doing lately? i had my blood test done on Monday, midwife said it takes up 10-14days, still havent received my first blood test result yet but nevermind, just have to wait i guess.

I am feeling good, i think i am bigger than i was but when i sent pics to my friends in HK. they replied saying...you look the same as you were before!!!!...i suppose they all think i was chubby!!!..i don't think i am though but i want to look more pregnant..) i love the pregnant look you see.

I am going to the city centre later cos i want to get a dress...) speak soon and you take care!

hey weeonion !! yes it has gone all quiet on the tartan army front has'nt it ? I hope everybody is okay I'm not too bad starting to have trouble sleeping - was up from about 3.30 am
managed to get some sleep at about 8am antil the phone woke me up arrrgh !!

Trying to buy a house , DP has put in an offer and given an entry date of 01/02/07
honestly I ask you - Am I suposed to be moving house a week before baby comes??
Anyway the seller is being impossible , they are demanding a six week entry date( at this point I suppose i had better mention that our current property has only gone on the market today !!)
so yes -Stress stress stress !!!

How are you ? apart from being so stressed...i know buying a house and selling your own property at the same time can be stressful...hope u are well and stay happy...
i have problem sleeping at night too...stimes i would get up like 4am going to the loo then couldnt go back to sleep..i think it will only get worse when my bump grows bigger and bigger..nevermind,,i feel lucky being pregnant..

Hey all... didnt get back onto the computer last night.. ended up with a really poorly tummy!!

Yep beef went in overn but it wasnt as nice as normal, had a fair few roast potatos though which more than made up for it!!

got a lovely little blanket in Mamas &Papas and the cutest little dungaree and top set and a set of essentials (bib , sleepsuit, etc.) from Next.
met up with DP's mom to organise Pram buying next weekend -so yeah i think i have finally got my skates on !!
