JJ it's a H&M jobby

Brilliant potty news!

johnworf · 15/06/2009 15:36

mrsjupiter she looks fantastic! Funny how they get bigger isn't it?

mrsboogie · 15/06/2009 15:46

MrsJ of course - just let us know if you decide

Eva looks beautiful - very sweet!

jw another sweetie - that is a gorgeous dress and you could pass for 27!! I see the favoured wooden spoon got another outing.

jj brilliant potty news, maybe that's the trick - no knickers! although I can see a few drawbacks....

FloriaTosca · 15/06/2009 15:49

I'm here JW Its taken forever to catch up especially as Ihave been laid low with a flu type bug but, first things first;

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! TO;

TAB on the safe arrival of Benjamin, sorry bfing didnt get off to the greatest of starts but I'm thrilled to hear that it sounds like things are improving rapidly.

ONEHITWONDER congrats on Ollie Stephen... you sound so calm and relaxed. I hope thing continue as smoothly.

and
TEE congratulations on the delicious Adam. I hope he is out of scbu and home where he belongs soon.

JJ fabulous news about Iris eating so well and saying "I don't know where daddy is"

Duchesse I ditto hedgepigs "pwwwww" raspberry at that other translator....hope he never gets work from them again.

Neddie Sorry you are feeling down, no wonder with everything that is on your shoulders....like the 'cutting off the hair' of the ex-friend as a very appropriate punishment ...also love the Spanish emigration idea and hope it all falls into plan really easily

and MrsJupiter lovely to see you back and see the pics of the delightful Eva...congrats on your BFP and fingers crossed that this time it is an uneventful ride

Hi everyone else, sorry not to say hi individually, especially sorry to all those who have been suffering (first or second hand) ... my head is still befuddled with the remains of this virus...I've been really rough since last Weds, but every cloud has a silver lining, after 20 months Dh hasfinally put A to bed and done all the wake ups overnight!!!!!

jeanjeannie · 15/06/2009 15:53

mrsjupiter oh she's gorgeous - simply gorgeous. I love the one in her hat and that little pointy chin! Wow - you've come such a long way. Both Eva and Katherine just look so happy and bonnie

Hope tee and Adam are doing ok today...any news from FB?

johnworf · 15/06/2009 16:02

I've not seen any updates jj but I've not checked in this PM.

floria I really hope you're on the road to recovery. I had a sixth sense moment that all was not well as I thought that your absence was very conspicuous. Oh dear.....(((hugs))) for a get well soon xx

Yeah, funny how the cheapo dress looks the nicest isn't it? Think I'll go to H&M more often and cut back on the swedish stuff. Save myself ££££££ !

mrsb she loves that spoon. Really she does. Combined with the spare remote control, she's like a pig in clover. Doesn't even give the real toys a second look. Oh, and loves the Boden necklace too. I can't wear it while she's around. She thinks it's a load of toys on a string, round my neck, waiting for her to play with it In fact, my DS#2 said to me that I should market the very thing. Stylish toys to be worn by mummies for their LO's to play with...............hmmmmm. He might have something there.

mrsb if you saw me up close you wouldn't say 27. Honestly. The power of clinique holds no bounds. But thank you for a lovely compliment all the same.

Aye up....no ermintrude. Could she be squatting as we speak?

mrsboogie · 15/06/2009 16:05

or bouncing...

jeanjeannie · 15/06/2009 16:06

floria blimey - you've had an awful time of it - poor you (((hugs))) Hands over get well CAKE x

jw forgot to say - I adore that necklace and I can totally see how a one year old would be thrilled with it too!

ermintrude Oh gosh ...yes... perhaps she's laying out all the Home birth paraphanalia as we speak...kettle on, towels at the ready, plastic sheeting on the best rug

johnworf · 15/06/2009 16:21

I have a mental image of her climbing over the back garden fence and getting stuck halfway, clutching next doors paddling pool under one arm.............................

Tee2072 · 15/06/2009 16:25

HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm home!!

Adam is still in SCBU. Saw the consultant today and he will probably be in for at least another week. He is much better, though!!!

Hope all is well here! I'll try and catch up!!

iris66 · 15/06/2009 16:28

Wahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! Welcome home!!!!

Well done and congratulations on your utterly gorgeous baby Tee

jeanjeannie · 15/06/2009 16:55

TEE!!! Mummy tee HELLO and Welcome back...**showers her with gifts and CAKE!

Just saw your message on FB - do let us know what's happening and how the utterly gorgeous Master Adam is doing. He's a real looker...a proper little lad. Well done you. And, how are YOU doing after the csection...hope you're taking it easy and DH is treating you like a Goddess xxxxx

mrsboogie · 15/06/2009 18:08

welcome back tee

do settle yourself and tell us everything!!

ermintrude13 · 15/06/2009 18:16

Hey you lot, it's bad enough everyone I meet anywhere saying - are you still here?!

...which I am, but very low baby today, lots of backache and pooing, off to have a large G&T in a hot bath (DH asked if it wasn't a bit late to try that so you never know.

Yay to Tee being back home

Your little girl is gorgeous MrsJupiter, those eyes! And JW that's such a sweet pic of you and baby K, she always looks like her daddy but in that one is totally yours.

floria nice to hear from you again, sorry you've been poorly.

Right, off to ease my poor old back.

Neddie · 15/06/2009 19:12

Hello Tee Congratulations on gorgeous baby. Hope Adam gets home as quick as possible and into his lovely nursery!

ermintrude there is a away... be ready with a car and driver......castor oil. Nought to baby in 1 1/2 hours......though it's something I don't recommend unless you are desperate, but it worked for me and kicked in almost instantly.

Neddie · 15/06/2009 19:14

Oh Ps. Thank you floria- I am not saying much but I think we have found perfect place in Spain- just have to negotiate and make inspection!!

johnworf · 15/06/2009 20:59

blimey neddie you're a fast worker!

ermintrude haven't you had that baby yet?!

tee brilliant that you're home to your own bed (bet you've missed it eh?). I'm sure that Adam will be out very soon and the hospital are doing their best to get him better so you can jail break him Keep us updated so we know when the big day is when you finally get to show him his new home.

I think this thread needs a big red X daubed on it for all the lurgy we've had collectively. We're most def 'unclean' (rings the cowbell round her neck)

Back from having trotters nails done. First thing K did when I got home was grab them and start picking at them

BonzoDoodah · 15/06/2009 21:14

Tee congratulations and woooo at such a yummy baby. I hope he's out of the SCBU and home with you soon.

OP posts:
ermintrude13 · 15/06/2009 21:35

Neddie from what I've heard about the castor oil treatment, even the fact I'm planning a home birth doesn't tempt me to try it. I don't want to actually poo the baby across the room at force .
Exciting about possible Spanish place - you are fast!

I'm now going to feel obliged to check in every hour saying I HAVEN'T HAD THE BLOOMIN' BABY YET!! It feels low enough to fall out but nothing doing....

hedgepig · 15/06/2009 21:40

Tee welcome back (lots of jumping up and down and clapping!!!), hopefully Adam will be home soon, have a good sleep!

MrsJ welcome back it's great to hear that Eva is doing well too. Lovely pictures

Iris I'm doing the london to Cambridge bike ride here. I think I may die! I am nowhere near ready so I have to do 6 weeks intensive training, went out tonight and got very wet ugg

JW great picture, I really like H&M clothes they even have some colourful things for boys from time to time.

duchesse · 15/06/2009 21:52

Ignoring all other posts for the moment (memememe moment, sorry)

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGH!

My son is driving me absolutely effing nuts. Objectionable, idle, contradictory, idle, little, bleddy, aaaaargh!

Thanks.

Better now.

jeanjeannie · 15/06/2009 22:07

hedgepig gosh - good for you. Although I'm having to hide this from my DP as I promised him I'd do that (cycling is his passion) if he ran the Reading Half Marathon with me. However I got preggie (twice) and have so far avoided it!! I did read your post as saying "and I got very wet Uggs!" I thought...you cycle in Ugg boots !!!

neddie cor - that's impressively swift work. Wow - I hope you see it and fall in love!

floria oh poor you...speedy recovery m'dear x
jw is right - we should daub this thread with a red cross.

duchesse and breathe...lol@rant, sorry, but it did make me smile!

Question is Ermintrude How low can you go..?!

So, Radio 4 fans....what did we all think of the new Humph'less' I'm sorry I haven't got a clue, tonight??? And Sven instead of Samantha? Is Stephen Fry to be the sole presenter....or are there others?

johnworf · 16/06/2009 06:34

Oh bloody hell JJ! I missed the ISIHAC with the delightful Mr Fry. Is it repeated during the week?

duchesse sorry to tell you this, but those little horrors of little boys grow up with similar traits

A hedgepig in UGG boots, riding a bicycle? Whatever next!

Off to the airport avec DD#1 to pick up her yank friend. DH has already asked if he has swine flu. I told him of course he has. Why would he travel otherwise

duchesse · 16/06/2009 06:46

jw- he's nearly 16 and I can't say it's improving, certainly. Now, I need to arrange work experience for him. What sort of job would be best? I wonder... He has had a "chance" of picking onions for a week. That should sort some of the more jobsworthy tendencies!

jeanjeannie · 16/06/2009 08:07

Morning all.

LOL@ at a yank bringing over swine flu! I hope your DD1 enjoys having him over jw and plays nicely with him! Can you smell lurve in the air perchance?

Not sure if ISIHAC is repeated,,,think it may be on a Saturday - but I always do 'Listen Again' on the website. Apparently the young Sven is having building working done. When he asks them what they want to eat they just say cheese and pickle but Sven will insist on palming them off with relish....

duchesse you have to arrange work experience...wow...I can't imagine what my mum would've chosen for me! I remember I went to work for Paul Smith....but I left telling him that he was a nice bloke but I couldn't see this job going anywhere and was off to Dolcis where they paid more!! Anyway - I interviewed him a decade later and he reminded me of it...and the fact that he was still going strong and Dolcis had gone bust Such a top bloke - he really is. I think picking onions sounds very agreeable and laid back....I'll do it...he can look after the girs

Off to singing this morning and then if it stay this nice I think the park beckons.
