mr tee eh? he aint no god dam foo'!

He'll still be at the hospital, nursing his baby no doubt. Plus he's got his parents over so it'll be later on (my prediction with my broken crystal ball).

mrsboogie · 11/06/2009 20:31

he'd better not keep us waiting 'til tomorrow! I can't bloody wait that long!!!

/impatient

Neddie · 11/06/2009 20:31

JJ you look lovely in your pic! My life mirrors yours but in the other way round.
I married young (22) to a very handsome country carpenter but after 19 years of country carpentry living I need something else A more cosmopolitan man (which I have found).
If anyone is interested he's available and still very handsome bless him, laid back, does washing up, cleaning etc one previous owner recommends......... Does leave toilet seat up and take 10 years to make any decision (if at all)so not perfect.

johnworf · 11/06/2009 20:34

I'm just figuring out how I could market my DH. Not much on the list at the mo

Is it me or is Greg Wallace horrid? I can't stand the way he talks to the contestents. And when he puts a fork/spoon loaded to the max with food in his mouth it makes me want to punch him in his fat face.

Everytime I read an interview with him he talks about how many different g/f's he has cos of his fame and, AND, calls them birds.

Stoopid, horrible, fat man.

Neddie · 11/06/2009 20:39

That's DX not DP -I don't want to get rid of him- he's a keeper.
We are planning our new life of global domination with bases in England, Germany and Spain. Shame I hate flying really.

Who's Gregg Wallace?

johnworf · 11/06/2009 20:40

He presents Masterchef with the delightful John Torrode.

Neddie · 11/06/2009 20:45

Ah now I know......the fat one not the dark one

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 20:52

Ah, you see I liked Fat Gregg presenting Veg talk on Radio four, but he's a bit of a 'Sarf London' twat on the telly. I also loathe the way he tastes the food....so hammy (ha ha pun....HAM....get it )

Ah neddie yes, your ex sounds quite similar to my DP...although mine does always put the seat down...then again...he falls asleep on it too. Oh, nasty, poor thing has really got a sore head.

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 20:53

Facebook question: Ok you know the 'Friends Suggestions' at the side that pops up? Well, how does it find those people ?- only that people I've not spoken to for years, who have zilch in common with my current FB friends keep popping up. Does it access your email and search....MMmmm, just curious that's all.

iris66 · 11/06/2009 20:58

yes! the way he eats is utterly gross mind you, John Torrode's not much better - looks like a smackhead to me all glazed eyes and greasy hair (not that I actually know any smackheads )

jw - PMSL - so you were an A-team fan too lol

neddie - aw what a lovely advert for your XDH (much nicer than I would have done on mine - but then mine did piss off with a fat cleaner from work when DD was only 13mths..... not that I hold a grudge )

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 21:00

Anyone watch "The Home Show"? YOu know - where the bloke sprays the walls white then re-designs it. Every bloody week he incorporates those bi-folding doors....SO irritating. I bet he's in partnership with someone!

Neddie · 11/06/2009 21:01

Is he Ok now? that must have been a shock. I did it once with Novovirus- one minute on the loo with violent tummy ache etc next on the floor with a bit of tooth missing (luckily not noticeable).
I am very sad about divorcing my DX he was my best friend- just couldn't live like that anymore. He told a friend he thought I'd come back at Christmas (we'd been separated a year)but of course I had met DP and I am now having twins- he's lost a lot of weight too, I feel sad for him but he should have cherished me like he promised. I am now thoroughly cherished!!!!

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 21:04

Awww neddie that's a sad yet happy story - well, happy for you in the end. Being cherished is excellent! I'm very cherished...it's wonderful.

DP is fine now...but has a black eye, marks on his head and a cut. I mean he was standing up at the time....how does that happen?!!

Neddie · 11/06/2009 21:13

iris that's really crap.....no wonder you wouldn't write a glowing CV. In some ways it would be better to hate each other. I cry quite a bit about ending it but it's like decisions I have to do sometimes by putting one of the the horses to sleep...the suffering has to stop but it is still seems the hardest thing in the world to do.

iris66 · 11/06/2009 21:14

neddie - there's a lot to be said for first marriages, especially if you lurch into them young and knowing everything (I was 19) TBH I do get on well with xDH now and am really good friends with his fiance. We've even been invited to their wedding next year . He's lovely really. it was just too much too young.

jj - does he actually have narcolepsy? that must be scary.

johnworf · 11/06/2009 21:18

JJ yep, FB searches your email addy's and suggests friends from it.

I just finished watching Home Show. They've obviously been given a job lot of doors from Howdens.....for nowt. DH said at the end of it that he'd love for someone like that to come around and 'do' our house. I wouldn't. No way!

I bought a job lot of scones today from Costco. The man with the samples tempted me with a small nibble (oooh matron!) and that was that, I was sold. I've put them in the freezer though and not touched 'em...yet. I have plans for them when I've lost another few pounds.

Just watching 'May contain Nuts'. Not sure what is going on yet apart from uber competitive mums.....

iris66 · 11/06/2009 21:21

took me about 5 years to get over TBH. He was my best mate & I was almost suicidal at the time. Made me the person DH loves now though and I'm grateful for that as DH is wonderful (a lazy git, but wonderful all the same )

johnworf · 11/06/2009 21:23

Oh lordy. Was a long and winding path that took me to DH. Most parts, best forgotten wink]

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 21:26

Thankfully iris DP doesn't have narcolepsy....he was just dog-tired and had fallen asleep on the sofa - stopped off for a wee en route to the bedroom and "ker boom" down he went.

Ah yes, Howdens jw I noticed that on the credits. Wasn't my cup of tea but I thought they got a lot for their money tonight. The builders they talk to - giving top tips for employing builders - are spot on! Don't give loads of money up front, schedule payments etc. But those friggin folding doors - they're such a fad. As DP points out they're loads of money - how often would you really open them right out in the course of a year? AND I bet the mechanisms start to cease up quite quickly. It's a gimmick - what's wrong with french windows eh?!!

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 21:29

Crikey - I was single for the best part of my 30s....I'd given up with blokes...couldn't be arsed. Then one night, armed with a glass of wine and the internet....I found Match.com DP was my first - and last date!

Neddie · 11/06/2009 21:30

I think I have antenatal depression which is making it worse TBH and that crazy thieving tart hasn't helped (she is still at large with my money and possessions) and I'm on my own (except for 6 year old) in an old detached house where no one can hear me scream as I'm battered to death for £2.50 by my own fire poker.
Laugh or cry not sure which?

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 21:33

According to the June thread tee has had a BOY 8lbs 10oz

Neddie · 11/06/2009 21:37

Ahhh. I can go to bed now and thinking happy thoughts. Quite a whopper too. Who had bets on the sex?

iris66 · 11/06/2009 21:41

jj - bless. I can't imagine being so tired that that happens! - and I've/we've been very tired with LOs haven't we !

I didn't see the home show but like the idea of spraying the whole house white before redesigning (though I'd probably keep it that way ) folding doors though

Think I'm on a sugar high (and in denial) as I feel strangely buzzing and overexcited (it's a bit like being tipsy - sorry you're on the receiving end). We had canelloni earlier & I nicked loads of DH's chips too no doubt I'll be awake all hours guzzling water though it could just be the anticipation of hearing Tee's news

iris66 · 11/06/2009 21:44

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh fabby Mc Fab!!! an announcement! yay! Blimey he was a whopper too. Oh I do hope he sleeps a bit for her tonight. Great news

bagsy me next puhleeeeeeze !
