Oh mrsB poor little D He's not having a good time is he. Hope you get on ok at the docs.

Fake nipples? FAKE NIPPLES??!! OMG...that's tragic...that's so attention seeking I want to vomit. I can abide Posh - she's so sulky, so skeletal, so ugly...yep, the woman is ugly.

LOL@ sick collecting into the frills of fancy muslins!

Late pregnancy - Ooooo, ermintrude I loathed it...it didn't suit me at all, everything started to fall apart!

JW LOL@ your FB comments on my pics Oh and I can assure you I'm definately the same size as you - only just in those Tesco size 12....it's all in the thighs and the cunning way I do a 3/4 turn to the camera cuts down on the amount of fat the lens can see!!! Oh and DP's sis was howling at the peasants and shoot 'em all comment!

tee where IS that hubby of yours? COme on, come on - I can't keep making any more cuppas in anticipation. The cake is at the ready and everything!!

johnworf · 11/06/2009 15:39

I deleted the shoot them all comment as I thought it might offend

Just been contacted by a lady from the GMC re the survey they asked for names for a couple of weeks ago, re being involved in ending a life decision for a child. Seems we're to have a journalist from The Observer interview me (and probably lots of others) about our experience.

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 15:40

I've made a jelly and evaporated mousse....does anyone know how long the stuff takes to set? Will it set?

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 15:43

X-post - did you...hahaha I'd not noticed! Oh the Observer....blimey....are you up for it?

Funny, just that i've been contacted via FB (literally just now) by the woman who did the piece on older mums in The Sun asking me if we wanted to do something!Cor, the Observer though - that's class innit.

Evaporated milk by the way....not evaporated mousse!

johnworf · 11/06/2009 15:51

lol@ the sun

johnworf · 11/06/2009 15:52

just thinking up sensational sun headlines.........

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 15:58

Ah - have you not seen my "Bridget Jones" piece?l?! Mmmmm, well, it involved a very snug Isabella oliver frock that made me all sweaty (wouldn't pay that kinda money for a maternity dress!) and lots of make up

johnworf · 11/06/2009 16:07

No I haven't. Do you have a link?

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 16:10

Actually this is the awful pic from the piece

This was the one from the Daily Mail's YOU magazine where we put Iris into the cement mixer and I had hideous morning sickness I hope yours turns out to be classier!!

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 16:11

Meant to say - can't get a link for the sun piece - it's hideous anyway - talks about DP being Mr Darcy

johnworf · 11/06/2009 16:15

hahaha mr darcy??????????

Tabitha8 · 11/06/2009 16:36

Onehit Congratulations! Ollie is a lovely name. Have you managed to post a pic? I'm still trying to find my password to get into my MN personal page thingy.
Tee hope all has gone well. Three babies on here in less than two weeks. We over 40s are doing well considering we are all meant to be infertile.
Milk supply is improving by the day. Amazing how it all works, isn't it? B has gained another 5 oz. He's going to be huge.

mrsboogie · 11/06/2009 16:51

what? still no news of tee?

arf jj the checklist puts me in mind of Nathan Barley!

back from Doctor's - it is teeth and not ears thankfully. quite a bad do this time Hopefully the worst has passed for this lot of teeth. Felt a bit silly for taking him in the end - not being one to trouble the quacks normally but he is nine month old today and his first trip so not doing too badly I guess.

mrsboogie · 11/06/2009 17:31

love your new fb pics jj the girls look very lovely

johnworf · 11/06/2009 17:32

mrsb at least it's nothing serious and the teething will pass once they're through.

My consultant was telling me that teething is hereditary (i.e. when you'll get teeth and how painful it'll be). Didn't know that. Certainly didn't know when I first got my teeth when she asked me.

mrsboogie · 11/06/2009 18:07

how can it be though? which parent would it follow?

johnworf · 11/06/2009 18:16

Both. She asked me about me and DH. Not sure if you follow one or the other or are inbetween. Didn't follow it up with her when she asked!

Just found this though and it does say it is hereditary.

BonzoDoodah · 11/06/2009 18:29

jj you look gorgeous in the Sun pic!

jw i was just dreaming... did not win lottery!

i think there is something in the air! LO just finished screaming, nothing i did made any difference. took around 20 mins. i kept making comforting sounds, patting him, winding him, no avail. offered more milk, did not want any! finally quiet now. hope it lasts. but as soon as it got quiet. i started expressing milk and checking out MN , DS1 comes in complaining he is cold, whatever, it is not cold in here. sometimes i get so fed up. just as i finish one thing, another thing comes up. sometimes dont even have time to scratch myself! ok whinge over

iris i admire you for co-sleeping. i cant do it. need my own space and DH in it. no kids or i cant sleep!

iris66 · 11/06/2009 19:01

OMG just realised am deffo sad stalking type just went on FB and someone had put a big "congratulations" on Tee's DH's page!!!!!!!!!! word must be out - he must be phoning/texting - when is he going to tell us!!!!!!! I can't stand the waiting anymore ..........rushes off to find diversion therapy for brain ... put boys to bed. Yup that'll do it for 1/2 an hr........

mrsboogie · 11/06/2009 19:09

come on man!! get your priorities right!!

johnworf · 11/06/2009 19:16

haha. I saw the congratulations too. She's obviously had the baby but as I posted this morning, he'll probably forget to put it on FB until tomorrow. You can't really blame him as a) he's a man and b) he'll be full of the joys of being a new dad

ermintrude13 · 11/06/2009 19:24

Someone on the June thread has seen the congratulations on Tee's FB page too and everyone's getting most impatient to know the details!

iris66 · 11/06/2009 19:59

oh FGS I really don't do waiting very well Come on Mr Tee!!!!!!!!!!!

jeanjeannie · 11/06/2009 20:28
