Has anyone had their health in pregnancy grant paid yet?

Just looked at the site and it says we'll get payments in April directly into bank. Has anyone had theirs yet?
Not sure about mine, I'll check bank tomorrow.

hi girls, i sent off my application at 28 weeks im now nearly 35 weeks and i still havent recieved anything, why is it taking soooo long !!!! my baby boy will be here by the time i get the payment goshhh, i wish the people that suggest these grant thingys would actually employ people who know wut they are doing !!!(felt like having a moan today sorry peeps lol) ...x

i sent off my form at end of Feb and still havent had it paid to me! Blooming ridiculous! Form has to reach them within 31 days of midwife signing but they can take as long as they want to shell out!! Load of non-sense!!!

The reason why they haven't spent the money on more midwives is because that would be more costly. This is a government that gives with one hand and takes away with another. Why should women be appreciative of the so-called windfall when we will be paying it back ten-fold with tax hikes over the next however many years due to greedy bankers and incompetent MPs.

it will say HMRC HIPGPREGNANCY £190.00 been paid in today Girls YEHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank god. paid in 16th april sent form in march 17th am due may 8th. ohhhh yes hold on in there all.

hi everybody, I was wondering if anybody has their £190 grant. I sent my form of when I was 25 weeks im now 33. Do I recieve a letter 1st or just keep checking my bank?

Just keep checking I guess! I'm 33 weeks too, sent in at 28 weeks. Not got yet. Hopefully soon though

I phoned them today and was told they have a backlog from january.my details are not even showing up on the system and no way to confirm whether they have recieved it or not. I am due in a week They also said they are unable to give out the money after you have given birth (if you send another form in) unless you go through the appeals procedure

hiya im new to this site but i would like to say tht i sent my forms off in the middle of feb and still not recieved anything i wouldnt mind but i am due on thursday, does anyone have the contact number i can phone them on please although it sounds like no use.

MIne came through last Friday. I applied about the third week of Feb so its a little strange that some of you who applied earlier have not yet heard. Just went straight into bank account with no warning! A couple of other ladies on my ante natal thread have had theirs too. We're all due in the next few weeks.

My baby has beaten my HIP grant. I sent mine off in late Feb too.

Baby arrival is irrelevant btw - they never promised to pay any before the end of April. You have to claim before due date.

Just rang HIP helpline. They have confirmed recieving my form and its on the system but cant tell me when it will be in my account. He said keep checking daily and ring if its not gone in by the end of May.

Hi all, just to let you know that i posted my form on 9th March (due May 29th). Have just rang the helpline and she said that it had been processed and awarded and should go into my bank in the next few days.

Hi mumof2andabit, It did say that on the recorded message, that if you sent the form off before 6th april then payments werent going to be made until may but when i spoke to the advisor, she confirmed my details and said it had been awarded.

I've just rang helpline to be told my form hasn't been processed yet, and he couldn't even tell me whether it had been received
Now I'm worrying it got lost in the post!
