July was good in that it meant I got to go out when DS was little as the weather was good and I didn't have an excuse to stay in. Summer nights (early mornings) were light so when I was waking to do feeds I didn't feel I was the only person in the world awake. Also, being in a hospital bed (not where I'd intended to be) with the sun streaming in and a lovely breeze was great. Oh yes, not having to put too many clothes on a tiny baby when he was so delicate and we had first time nerves...
Being very pregnant in the heat wasn't so great though.
Next time I'd like a February/March baby so we miss the worst of the weather (this winter was great so next year's will probably be horrid until May) and we are able to get out and entertain DS.
