Had morning sickness with ds.

Much much worse this time round. Everyone's saying it's because it's a girl. (Don't know yet, only 7 weeks!)

Is there any truth in the old wives tale?

Interested in this thread - have always secretly believed in this particular old wives tale

I had no sickness at all with DS - this time round it is really very mild (compared to many women) but absolutely horrible (compared to last time). If I find out it is another boy, I will have to let go of my belief for good!

DS- sick from teh day after I tested , until about 34 weeks. at least 2 -3 times a day.

DD - sick from about a week after I tested, until aroudn 24 weeks, once a day on average.

Had little appetite though on the whole

I lost around 2 stone in both pregnancies

but it all back on though ! ]
