one of each! (two pregnancies)
first pregnancy was a girl and was worse but i always put that done to it being my fist and not knowing all the 'tricks'

Girl first time with hyperemesis.

Girl second time with severe ms but thankfully no hyperemesis.

btw the midwife that delivered dd1 said she had had hyperemesis with both her girls.

Also when I was in hospital with hyperemesis the girl in the next bed also had a girl I found out later.

Hope this helps your statistics!

lulumama · 07/08/2008 20:50

did not have hyperemesis , but much, much sicker with boy than girl.

sunshine74 · 07/08/2008 20:53

bad hyperemesis, hospitalised both times - both girls

EBenes · 07/08/2008 23:05

Here's the science part. It's not an overwhelming split - fairly good chance either way - but it's definitely significant.

Morning sickness with both boy and girl, but 100% worse with girl - lasted until 20 weeks - vomiting, lost a stone and a half, and now at 33 weeks (scan says girl), the nausea has returned. Oh, joy.
