Should I find out the sex of DC3 - Mumsnet, you decide...

I found out with DD1, didn't with DD2. I liked the fact that I felt more bonded during pregnancy to DD1 as I knew she was a girl, she felt like a "person" ifkwim. With DD2, I wanted the surprise.

I have absolutely no preference for a boy or a girl but think it would be nice for DD1 especially if we knew what we were having this time around.

Should I keep it a lovely surprise or find out?

We used to live about 10 mins drive away Fio, I really miss the tranquility and hills of Wales. Used to take DD1 to see Thomas the Tank engine at the railway station there. She loved it!

i found out with both of mine, my sister wanted to with her DS, but he had his legs crossed at all the scans she had, so she had a surprise in the end.

Thanks Lulumama, asked DH if I could have a home birth, he just laughed! Oh well!

FioFio, I live in Southport now. Shropshire is a lovely place, we lived virtually on the border of Wales/Shropshire. There is nice little town called Ellesmere which has a fantastic lake.

I am from Liverpool originally, whereabouts did your Great Grandad live? I had my ears pierced in Owen Owens in Liverpool when I was around 12, it is funny the things you remember!

I do like Southport as it is nearer to my family and friends, Wales was nice but not a lot going on there.

I am having my scan on 15 September so hopefully will know then.
