Thought I would make a thread for those due in March 2027, I joined a thread for my previous rainbow pregnancy in 2022 and I found it so helpful. I found out this week that I am pregnant with my second rainbow baby, after losing my first baby at 29 weeks. I am feeling incredibly anxious, more so than in my first pregnancy after my loss. Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy ahead 🤞🏼

@Emmie93 they only are if people in your family have hyperovulation which results in two eggs being released at the same time that can run in families which results in twins but yes like you said maybe it’s that you’ve implanted early that’s a very early positive 8dpo🥰 yes my first I’m 27 but PCOS so thought better to get things going than leaving it later xx

Oh, congratulations on your first! Sorry about the PCOS I know people with it who struggled to conceive for years!

So sorry @CheeseNinja sending a hug xx

@MamaB12 welcome and congrats ☺️

I’m 5w today and my boobs / nips feel like they’re on fire. Other symptoms - feeling hungry but then everything I think of I don’t want / can’t bring myself to eat. I’m sleeping really badly atm too.

feel like I’m on tenterhooks waiting for the crippling nausea I had last time..: hopefully I don’t but feeling anxious about it already.

CheeseNinja · 02/07/2026 11:58

@PrettyPleaseXo @IThinkImThirtySomething thank you so much xx

Wishedfor2021 · 02/07/2026 13:16

Hi, also joining please! 👋🏼 will be due 9th March according to due date calculator. Started getting faint positve tests 2 days ago, then a really clear BFP & positive digital test today!

this will be baby #3 but feeling just as nervous as I did the first time round! Wishing everyone a healthy and happy 9 months 🥰✨

Lucky444 · 02/07/2026 13:33

@Wishedfor2021 aww congratulations ! How old are you other two xx

smokestacklightning · 02/07/2026 15:25

@CheeseNinja I'm so sorry :( sending love xx

Congratulations and welcome @MamaB12 and @Wishedfor2021 so lovely to have you here!

@IThinkImThirtySomething I could have written your post! My boobs are killing me permanently, I'm hungry all the time and I'm getting absolutely exhausted/almost falling asleep during the day but no matter how tired I am I just can't get a decent night's sleep! I've been feeling a bit ill in the mornings but nothing else, it feels like the nausea is really threatening though and I'm expecting it to hit me like a train at any moment.

MamaB12 · 02/07/2026 15:29

is anyone else experiencing nausea? i just want to eat like im starving but i feel so sick😩

i didnt have sickness with my little boy but i did with my MC back in april but not this bad, so strange how each different each pregnancy can be x

honestly do it!! It’s really helped to alleviate my anxiety around it in my work. I’ve also stocked up on sour sweets (preggie pop drops) and anti sickness bands just encase but feeling prepared has helped me to relax xx

CheeseNinja · 02/07/2026 15:53

@smokestacklightning thank you xx

smokestacklightning · 02/07/2026 16:21

DH is itching to tell his mum (I don't mind at all, MIL is a wonderful person and even if things didn't work out I'd be comfortable sharing!) however I feel I'd really like to get an early scan first! I was initially thinking around 8 weeks but he's not sure he can wait so long. Any ideas on when we could realistically see a somewhat reassuring blob on the screen? Thanks!

So I had a scan at 6w6d last time and she was literally a tiny dot but with a heartbeat however we couldn’t see much so I’ve booked for 8 weeks this time xx

smokestacklightning · 02/07/2026 16:27

@PrettyPleaseXo ah thanks, that's exactly why I was thinking around 8 weeks for a somewhat clearer picture (balancing my anxiety with realism haha). We're away from Saturday so the earliest I could get one would be about 7+2 anyway, will have a chat with him about how he feels xx

I think it’s a great idea have a look on TikTok for an ultrasound of 7w and that will give you an idea xx

Thank you I will do, sorry this is my first so I feel like I'm still coming to terms with it and know absolutely nothing, so helpful having you ladies here who've been through it before xx

SantiagoSister · 02/07/2026 16:42

@CheeseNinja I have been thinking of you these last few days, I’m really sorry you had to go through that. Keep the faith, you will get there in the end ❤️

Congratulations and welcome @MamaB12 and @Wishedfor2021!

I’m 5+3 today and I had my first experience of nausea this morning for about 10 mins, I’ve never experienced that before in either of my pregnancies so it was new to me. Hoping it doesn’t progress 🤞🏼

I am also sleeping so badly! It’s reassuring to hear a few of you are struggling with sleep too, it’s so unlike me as I’m normally a sound sleeper. I just keep waking up loads of times throughout the night and tossing and turning, so odd. Not helping with my exhaustion levels 😴 I feel so tired all the time.

Hello! I just got a positive test this morning. I joined a mumsnet group with both my other children and it was lovely! Is there a Facebook group?
