Due March 2027

Thought I would make a thread for those due in March 2027, I joined a thread for my previous rainbow pregnancy in 2022 and I found it so helpful. I found out this week that I am pregnant with my second rainbow baby, after losing my first baby at 29 weeks. I am feeling incredibly anxious, more so than in my first pregnancy after my loss. Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy ahead 🤞🏼

Congratulations @Emmie93, that’s a great line for 8 DPO! Sorry to hear of your loss in April, hoping for a smoother journey for you this time.

Thank you so much!

mumtrovert · 01/07/2026 21:01

I’ve had the same experience @Longbin it’s horrible because you just can’t get excited until you get past a certain point. And when your lines aren’t as dark as others it doesn’t help, but I keep telling myself every pregnancy is different. Hope your bloods reassure you 🤞🏼

@Emmie93 congratulations & welcome!

Longbin · 01/07/2026 21:33

Thanks @mumtrovert its so hard to just go with the flow isn’t it! Your dye stealer looks great though. I had IVF previously too and I definitely think that has impacted by ability to be relaxed about it and positive. I think will get some normal cheapy tests and just check for line progression rather than clearblue weeks

Are any of you listening to any podcasts on pregnancy or fertility in general?
I juat started listening to The Great Birth Rebellion and loving it. Have listened to 3 episodes already. Also listened to the episode on weeks 4-6 of Is it Normal?
And then have listened to various episodes of Don't Tell Me To Relax (all about fertililty) as we've been trying.

I haven't done any sort of line progression testing. Am I missing out? Is it just a case of taking a pregnancy test every day to see if the line gets darker? How many tests are you doing?
I did two cheap sainsburys rapid ones and called it a day :P figured that was all I needed to know. Now I'm wondering if I should be worried.

Longbin · 01/07/2026 22:37

@ImpatientlyTryingToConceiveno, dont put yourself through the torture of testing as once you start you can’t stop and it only adds to the anxiety!

SantiagoSister · 01/07/2026 22:56

Agree @ImpatientlyTryingToConceive, don’t do it to yourself! It just causes more worry I find. Plus, it’s not how pregnancy tests were designed to be used, so it’s not actually that reliable and the darkness of the lines depend on many variables which can change daily so it’s definitely not worth putting yourself through the stress if you don’t have to!

Girl don’t do it! I’ve stopped testing now because it’s just unnecessary stress x

Anyone else have mild nausea already? I’m 4w2D and already woke up feeling a bit yuck

This was my main symptom before I even tested positive! Morning sickness typically starts later for most people, but some women do get it really early on. It sucks lol

It really does! I’m praying it lessens as the day goes on 😂

mumtrovert · 02/07/2026 08:00

@ImpatientlyTryingToConceive the girls who test every day (myself included) are the girls who know too much and have done too much doom scrolling. We suck all the fun out of being pregnant 🤪 so don’t come over to the dark side!

@PrettyPleaseXo I’m 5w today and have been waking up the past few days feeling a bit hungover!

It’s different for everyone. As soon as I step out of bed I get queasy and it just worsens for me to the point I’m heaving 🤢 mine typically tapers off in the evening. If you can, try ginger nut biscuits or flat diet lemonade. Worked wonders for me when I was pregnant with my daughter. Unfortunately nothing is settling my stomach this time 😂🥲

I’m trying to keep my stomach from going empty and have a 10am and 2pm bag of ready salted crisps haha

I’m only 10dpo I haven’t missed my period yet 😬 but the morning sickness is hitting me hard. I can’t even drink anything without it getting worse 🥲 ha

Lucky444 · 02/07/2026 08:39

@Emmie93 are you thinking it might be twins ? Xx

Lucky444 · 02/07/2026 08:40

@Emmie93 hope it gets better for you if not you could get some anti sickness tablets from the dr that’s what I’ll be doing if it’s too much x

I was getting dreams of twins before I found out, but honestly I hope not lol I mean of course I’d be happy with a singleton of twins as long as they’re healthy, but newborn twins and a 4 year old? Lord have mercy!

Lucky444 · 02/07/2026 08:49

@Emmie93 aww really ! Fingers crossed it settles down .Do twins run in your family ? My partner can’t wait for the scan to make sure there’s only 1 and our embryo hasn’t split 😂 I’ve always thought people that have twins are meant to have them . They run in my family my auntie and uncle are twins , my gran and her sister both had twins but it’s irrelevant to my scenario x

Hopefully, but as hcg rises it’s meant to get worse before it levels out and settles 🥲 but hopefully my body adjusts sooner rather than later 😂
Yeah they do, but thankfully having twins isn’t a genetic thing! Haha. I think I’ve just implanted early, hence the first positive at 8dpo! I’m still in shock about that 😂 Ah! Is this your first? X

Lucky444 · 02/07/2026 09:34

@Emmie93 they only are if people in your family have hyperovulation which results in two eggs being released at the same time that can run in families which results in twins but yes like you said maybe it’s that you’ve implanted early that’s a very early positive 8dpo🥰 yes my first I’m 27 but PCOS so thought better to get things going than leaving it later xx
