Thought I would make a thread for those due in March 2027, I joined a thread for my previous rainbow pregnancy in 2022 and I found it so helpful. I found out this week that I am pregnant with my second rainbow baby, after losing my first baby at 29 weeks. I am feeling incredibly anxious, more so than in my first pregnancy after my loss. Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy ahead 🤞🏼

Hi everyone joining! I feel awful this morning 🤢 I had to turn off the tv as the carrot cake made me feel extremely nauseous 🤢😂

Oh gosh, not the carrot cake!! I had a bout of nausea in the pub last night whilst watching the football… not sure if it was pregnancy related or I just got too hot and bothered 😩

IThinkImThirtySomething · 28/06/2026 10:07

@CheeseNinja we are due date buddies! ☺️ I feel ok so far - think I’m still in disbelief that I am pregnant… I am so bloated I look about 6 months pregnant already so have no idea how I’ll disguise my belly up to 12 weeks lol.

smokestacklightning · 28/06/2026 10:12

I have the worst bloating and breast pain, no nausea/aversions yet but I've had annoying dull cramps for the past week, I usually only get a day or so of period pain so it feels endless atm. Apparently it can be normal so trying not to get too anxious about it 😫

VioletTea27 · 28/06/2026 10:25

@IThinkImThirtySomethingI was so incredibly bloated for about a week to the point that the kids (I’m a teacher) asked if I was pregnant!! Fortunately the bloating has subsided because not only did I look ridiculously pregnant it was awfully painful. Hope it subsides for you soon x

SantiagoSister · 28/06/2026 10:27

Congratulations @mumtrovert and @toomanystrawberries 🥰

@PrettyPleaseXo so pleased to see you got another positive test this morning! 👏🏼

Sorry to hear the nausea has hit already for you @CheeseNinja, that’s rough 😖

I started off with really painful breasts and cramps but this has eased loads in the last couple of days. 5 weeks tomorrow. Trying to remember it’s normal for symptoms to disappear and things still be fine, but it’s hard not to worry isn’t it.

Thanks lovely! Omg yes with the cramps it feels like AF is going to start it’s so unnerving

CheeseNinja · 28/06/2026 10:41

@VioletTea27 could have been a bit of both!

@IThinkImThirtySomething oh yay!!! 🥳 oh nooo lol I was like that with my second I was huge by 9 weeks 😂

smokestacklightning · 28/06/2026 10:48

@SantiagoSister @PrettyPleaseXo I'm so glad to hear it's not just me with the cramps, that's reassuring, hope you're coping ok

IThinkImThirtySomething · 28/06/2026 12:19

@smokestacklightning I am also having dull aching / cramp feelings really low down. And back ache today! But trying not to think about it lol

mumtrovert · 28/06/2026 14:27

Thanks @SantiagoSister & @smokestacklightning 🤍

Congratulations @PrettyPleaseXo

I’m 4+3 and so far have very sore boobs, bloating, a dull cramping on/off now but was pretty constant for a while, a ‘heavy’ uterus, dizziness, tiredddddd all the time & this morning I woke up feeling quite sick. (I am also on progesterone)

Looking forward to getting to know you all! My 2022 group is still kicking now and I’d have been SO lost without all those women to lean on for that first year.

IThinkImThirtySomething · 28/06/2026 16:05

@mumtrovert love the username! I’m looking forward to having some virtual mum friends - I had my first on 1st Jan 2020 so spent his first year pretty much in lock down and had a very limited social life which made my maternity leave so sad and lonely. I think that’s why it’s taken me so long to TTC again - I deffo think it was some form of PTSD and lingering PND.

hoping this time will be much more of a positive experience!

VioletTea27 · 28/06/2026 17:25

I’ve just started bleeding quite heavily with clots so it’s not looking good :( Ringing the GP in the morning to see if I can get a referral to the EPU.

I guess this is the downside of testing so early.

I can’t imagine having a baby during those Covid times @IThinkImThirtySomething must’ve been so hard. This time will be much better!

@VioletTea27 sorry to hear that. Keeping everything crossed for you that it doesn’t mean the worst x

Longbin · 28/06/2026 23:06

I have just found out I’m due 8th March. Massively shocked as I have infertility and wasn’t trying. Slightly panicked but equally excited! Congratulations all!

Same here! My 2022 group was the main reason I started this thread, it has been such an enormous help, it’s such a supportive group and I would have been lost without it! Really looking forward to getting to know you all and being part of this group 😊

That must’ve been so hard having your maternity leave in lockdown, I can’t even imagine 😩 really hoping for a more positive, healing experience for you this time round.

So sorry @VioletTea27 hope you’re ok.

Feeling quite drained the past few days, wondering how I’m going to cope with morning sickness and looking after my 18 month old, plus work. DH is away for the next 10 days too. Will have to push through 😩
