Thought I would make a thread for those due in March 2027, I joined a thread for my previous rainbow pregnancy in 2022 and I found it so helpful. I found out this week that I am pregnant with my second rainbow baby, after losing my first baby at 29 weeks. I am feeling incredibly anxious, more so than in my first pregnancy after my loss. Wishing everyone a smooth pregnancy ahead 🤞🏼

Hi everyone, I’m very tentatively joining. I’ve had a very faint line this evening at 12dpo, will test again in the morning with fmu to make sure! I had a chemical pregnancy last month so very anxious right now and finding it hard to feel excited yet

Congratulations @Karinx! Good luck for testing again this morning with FMU. Sorry to hear of your loss last month, it’s so hard to relax about things this time isn’t it 😩

Hi, I'm tentatively joining. I had a "pregnancy of unknown location" in November so a little bit nervous. But I've had positive tests for the last 5 days and they're much darker than before, so hoping all is OK. Got a scan booked at the EPU on 27th July for them to check everything.

This would be number 2 for us, got a 2.5 year old girl already :)

LifeByTheSea123 · 11/07/2026 17:27

Well I thought I’d got away with no symptoms and was thinking what a peaceful pregnancy this is compared to the last one when wham I’ve been hit by the exhaustion today 🤣 just hoping the nausea and food aversions don’t come next! How is everyone getting on symptoms wise? X

Optimistic2021 · 11/07/2026 18:29

Hi, another one joining! 🙂

I am around 6+5 weeks with baby number 3. Not planned but not prevented 😂 little bit apprehensive about how life will look with three but also excited!

Nausea has started to get more frequent in the last few days so bracing myself for that as I did struggle in my first two pregnancies although you definitely forget what it's like don't you 🤢😂

Having a slight panic after reading up on cmv, I remember reading about it when pregnant with dd2 but forgot until tonight and now in a spiral! It says you shouldn't share food with young kids or kiss them on the mouth and I've ate lots of leftovers over the last few weeks I'm sure and dd2 loves giving kisses atm most of them on the mouth! Does anyone know if I should phone and speak to a midwife on Monday for some advice? I've not got my booking appointment until 12 weeks so still a while to wait!

Wishing everyone happy and healthy pregnancies 🥰

How far along are you?
I'm still in the simple symptoms period at 6w+6. Definitely tired, but no nausea or food aversions. Definitely sore boobs and bloating. But otherwise chill for now.

I’m 5 weeks today. Feels like I should be further as I found out two weeks ago now at 7dpo which seemed very early, but my app is usually spot on. Up until yesterday I was absolutely fine but the exhaustion today has been a lot! No other symptoms though which I’m very grateful for. Reassuring to know you are at 6w+6 and still not feeling nauseous 😊

Hopefulmama21 · 11/07/2026 21:45

@LifeByTheSea123 how far along are you? I'm 6weeks 3days and similar to @ImpatientlyTryingToConceive just tired and BLOATED. No nausea yet but the size of stomach is concerning me 🤣

@Optimistic2021 congrats! I've heard of CMV before, but I'd probably say try not to worry too much ☺️ your little one is obviously very loving so it would be hard to avoid the cuddles and a shame to try to avoid them too

Oh my gosh I've the same, it's soooo uncomfortable!! Thankfully it's a bit better today (but still pretty bad!) Apparently we need to drink plenty of water and eat fibre!

inkgirl · 12/07/2026 11:50

Ive had a faint positive which I believe makes me due around march 24th - 26th not 100% sure as not had a period since coming off the pill. We weren't expecting it to happen so quickly

Dalma · 12/07/2026 22:34

Hi everyone,
I just turned 40, and as a present from me to myself, I've got a 2 lines on the test! 😍
My only concern is the faint line, for couple of days in a row. I should be in 5th week now based on my period. I did ovulation test on 19th June, it was very positive on that day - so we had unprotected sex the same day. This is my second pregnancy, with the first one I only realised I'm pregnant when I was 8 weeks already.

Ahh the exhaustion is crazy isn’t it, I was completely floored with it yesterday. My food aversions have started already too, and they change daily so it’s hard to predict what’s going to turn my stomach on a daily basis 🙈

Congratulations @Optimistic2021!

Thank you for bringing up CMV, like you I had read about it while pregnant with my son but I had completely forgotten about it. I also have been sharing food/drinks and having mouth kisses with my son, feeling a little bit worried about it. I am now going to be more cautious going forward, I am wondering if I may be able to ask for TORCH screen at my booking appointment, which would put my mind at ease knowing if I’ve been infected with it before or not.

My smell aversion started yesterday. Turns out cooking garlic is the most disgusting smell ever. Had to leave the house and walk the dog because I wanted to hurl. Was able to eat it though, but it was also the main thing I could taste so the meal my husband lovingly prepared seemed to taste exclusively of garlic. Thanks little one/ hormones.

Anybody else suddenly wondering why we were so desperate for this?

SantiagoSister · 13/07/2026 10:53

Congratulations and welcome @inkgirl and @Dalma 😊

It’s so bizarre what your body just decides is disgusting out of the blue! 😂 I had similar, I cooked sweet and sour chicken at the weekend and really enjoyed it, I left the pot in soak and when I came back to it I was nearly sick smelling it again 🤢

Thank you, starting to think its a false positive though, just read the test I used is well known for false positives 😔

Done a superdrug digital and it came back not pregnant. My first response test arrives today and im just off to get a clear blue early digital test. I'm gutted to say the least. I really hope them lines weren't a false positive

Karinx · 13/07/2026 13:30

I’ve still been getting quite light lines, but I’m also my own worst enemy for testing everyday rather than waiting 48 hours like I should! I did do a test today and it’s definitely darker but not dark enough to get excited yet. I’m trying to be positive though as I’ve been sad about it all weekend

inkgirl · 13/07/2026 18:21

Done a first response and it was negative going to test again in the morning. Actually gutted that I could have had false positives
