a BOY!

A healthy baby boy so far.

21 weeks along, all organs fine.

Couldn't believe how it, even though it was so obvious even I could tell. Made the sonographer go over it twice.

Yep, it's a boy.

A bit shocked, because I was pretty certain it was a girl.

But it's definitely a boy.

I didn't have a clue how to change DS's nappy - girls were easier!! Twas a shock to find extra bits to clean, lol.

pointydog · 13/06/2008 21:27

congrats!

sweetkitty · 13/06/2008 21:28

Wow expat congratulations on your wee Struan (you won't be joining the 3 girls gang now though )

Thats great he's all OK as well, know how nerve wracking those scans can be.

Now we just need to find out what dizzy, foghorn and misdee are having now.

Countingthegreyhairs · 13/06/2008 21:53

Many congratulations Expat (great name Struan) and to you Belgo.

And to you Broccoli Spears!

Lovely thread (wipes tear, sighs broody sigh)

MrsJohnCusack · 13/06/2008 22:16

lovely

BlueDragonfly · 13/06/2008 22:17

how did you get to 21 weeks already??!!!

Purplepillow · 13/06/2008 22:22

Just want to add my congratulations

BigBadMouse · 13/06/2008 22:43

Ahhhhh..congratulations! I've just had a DS after two DDs and it is nice to ring the changes. I would have been just as happy to have another girl but now I have boy it's all very entertaining (at last no pink clothes and a new twist to nappy changes ).

Problem is I keep referring to him as 'she' when he is the most boyish looking baby boy you can imagine. .

Three is fantastic by the way..strangely easier than two

Remotew · 13/06/2008 23:08

Struan is a great name, love it and the shortened version of Stru, which will happen.

Met a little girl call Maurine (sp) and immediately thought of bravehart. Great traditional scottish name and Struan must be the male equivalent.

expatinscotland · 14/06/2008 00:22

Well, if anyone wants to use Muireann, keep it in mind .

dh still won't budge on it - says it doesn't go with our other two AND that his dad wouldn't be able to spell it - which is true as he is a pillock

eenybeeny · 14/06/2008 16:53

oh WOW!!! congratulations!!!

I am so happy for you! I have one DC - a boy and I hope to have a girl someday too but I love having a boy he is really really excellent!! And it is true what they say boys do go all ga-ga over their Mamas!!!

Congrats Expat - I found out we are having a girl this week - though I had convinced myself we were having a boy and had already decided on a name.

Boys are lovely (he will be your baby boy forever and no woman will ever be good enough!) - and I have a load of boys clothes if you want any

chipmonkey · 14/06/2008 17:57
