Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🄹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

3 sleeps until my scan... I just want to sleep the next few days away.
Cannot concentrate on anything, slacking off at work because I just can't concentrate and it isn't distracting enough šŸ˜‚ hope you're all doing well ā¤ļø

Dontbeaneejit · 02/03/2026 20:17

Same! 3 sleeps here too. Excited and terrified!

ErickBroch · 02/03/2026 22:31

ah so jealous for you all in the most positive way!! Exciting. My scan is at 13 weeks, annoyingly!!

ripleynot · 03/03/2026 08:02

@ErickBroch mine is 13 weeks too! It’s on Mother’s Day itself which feels a bit weird. I hope a good omen rather than a sad one!

Bluesea14 · 04/03/2026 09:21

does anyone have a bump yet? This is baby no 2 and I thought I'd be showing a bit more by now. I'm 12 weeks on Saturday. Although saying that I still had a bit of a belly from my first pregnancy so it's hard to tell if I have a little something

Lyndsey8880 · 04/03/2026 09:41

Yes me! This will be baby number 2, (šŸ¤ž) i lost a load of weight last year and dropped from a 12 to an 8 so i think its all alot more noticeable!
I was severely bloated at about 6 weeks and looked about 6 months, but now visibly have a bump and struggling to keep it under wraps under my big baggy jumpers at work! I think it's quite normal to either be showing, or not at this point x

LuckyDuck93 · 04/03/2026 09:54

Anyone elses sickness stopped at 10w? I thought i'd be grateful but feeling sick was almost reassuring šŸ˜…

Lyndsey8880 · 04/03/2026 17:04

I never really had any sickness so can't help, literally only had a couple of instances of feeling sick but that's been it. Was the same with my daughter!

Scan tomorrow, 10am.... terrified, excited, nervous! Anyone else??
@Dontbeaneejit what times your scan?!

Mine isn't until 3.20pm! I'm going to spend all day pacing until it's time. Typical my DD has just thrown up this afternoon so I'm not going to have to find someone willing to watch her while I go to the scan. I think I'm 12 weeks exactly today and definitely now have a bump. Really struggling to hide it and someone at work guessed correctly today. Thankfully a friend so she won't say anything. My sickness does seem to have eased off but I'm almost scared to believe it as it's been so awful I don't want to get my hopes up that it's actually gone. Keep thinking I'll wake up tomorrow vomiting again! Still the 1st trimester has to end eventually!

Mine also stopped at 10 weeks!

missmoosh · 04/03/2026 19:48

I wish my sickness would stop or at least ease up, still throwing up so much! Had booking appointment today, going to be consultant led due to health issues. Even though I knew it, it’s still horrible hearing them say high risk.

Potatomashed · 04/03/2026 19:50

Hi everyone! I’m 12 weeks with baby 3. I was asked by 2 separate people if I was expecting today… definitely have a bump! I’ve had a couple of scans (one private at 9 weeks, one was too early for screening and then the full screening one). Baby is doing well but this is my hardest pregnancy yet, I’m on a variety of antisickness meds and still struggling with nausea and the zombie-like effects of the medication! It’s hard to parent and to do my work (thankfully it’s quite flexible). I hope I wake up very soon and the nausea is gone! Have been feeling little kicks for a few weeks now, super early but I guess I’ve had babies before so knew what to look out for! Hope you’re all doing well!

Have you tried anti sickness medication? There’s a new one which is specifically approved for pregnancy called Xonvea. When you speak to the doctor, let them know your HELP and PUQE scores so they can assess how bad your sickness is (just google them and you will get a link!) xx

Hi everyone! I’ve posted a bit further back in the thread but have been battling sickness and generally feeling terrible for weeks so disappeared from Mumsnet for a time. Lovely to hear so many positive scan stories and that sickness is starting to ease for some of you!

Hoping for some advice, I’m 10+6 today and still haven’t had my 12 week dating scan appointment through? Does this sound normal?

Have you had your midwife appointment yet? I had my midwife appointment I think 10 weeks and I only got my scan date when I was over 11 weeks and I’ll be closer to 13 weeks when I have my 12 week scan x

Thanks, yeah I had my booking appointment at about 9 weeks and she mentioned that my scan date should come through soon. I’ll give it a week and then try and call someone, thanks!

I got my call Monday with a date so I would have been 11 + 2 the midwife did tell me that I wouldn’t actually get a scan until I was between 12-13 weeks maybe give midwife a call x

That’s reassuring thank you! I might wait till next week when I’ll be 11+3 and give MW a call if I’ve not heard by then ā˜ŗļø

missmoosh · 05/03/2026 10:15

@Potatomashed yeah I am on that already after winding up in hospital because the previous meds weren’t working! Hoping to get on ondansetron soon as that helped most last pregnancy, but GP won’t give until second trimester šŸ˜”

Lyndsey8880 · 05/03/2026 14:50

Had my scan today! All went well, baby measuring perfectly.... so so relieved! ā¤ļø

Buttons97 · 05/03/2026 17:35

We had our scan last week, was so lovely to see baby again! Due date was moved earlier to the 2nd. I’m having a nightmare trying to contact the community midwives for my next appointment, they never answer the phone and no option to leave a voicemail😫 I’m now 14+1, starting to feel like i’ll never get an appointment.

Dontbeaneejit · 05/03/2026 18:38

Had my scan this afternoon. Very awkward wriggly baby but everything looked good! Moved my dates a few days so I'm 12+5 not 12+1 like I thought. It was so lovely to see baby. Also lovely to hear I'm a bit further along and closer to escaping 1st trimester misery!

unsureforevermore · 05/03/2026 19:38

Does anyone feel utterly horrendous at night time? My day time sickness seems to have passed but now it’s night time well from late afternoon I am wiped out 😭
