Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🥹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

I’ve got an app booked for next Tuesday. I’ll just stick with it and go from there! But yours has given me hope 👌🏼♥️ xxx

For those who have a NIPT is this something that is available on NHS ? Or have you paid private ?

I weighed myself this morning wish I hadn’t gained 10lbs already and almost 9 weeks 10lb 😭😭😭😭😭

Same 🙈 I’ve put on 11lb I’m mortified but I’m sure half of that is boobs 😂

Good point about the boobs @Niftymum88 mine are absolutely huge !!

@unsureforevermore i've not been weighed but I daren't, all i've done is eat to stop myself feeling sick!

I've had it on NHS this time as we had a baby with Edwards in 2019 and they've recently introduced it on NHS for people who've had a pregnancy affected by Edwards, Pataus or Downs Syndrome in the past or a higher chance result from 12 week screening.
We paid for it with my son (2020) it was £450 back then, and they were able to tell us the sex on the private one too xx

I have booked private NIPT for 10 weeks due to my age (35) and just wanting to make extra sure that everything is okay. They told me I wouldn’t get it on nhs unless the routine screen shows high risk x

Had my scan today and all was good measuring 7 weeks 3 days which is exactly what I thought. It did show a bleed though so was told I may get some spotting.

I came on here to ask if anyone else already looks pregnant- glad I'm not the only one to have put on weight!

I am at 8+4 and my boobs are huuge and I already look pregnant! I never had a flat belly but it is bulging out despite me being more careful with how i eat. Boob wise I was already 34E but I think its a 30 or 40% increase or something? Is this normal?

this is not good and it's noticeable and I can't really sleep on my front anymore and none of my bars fit...? If this is me after 8 weeks am worried the weight is going to be even worse with boob weight.

Caught my boss looking at me funny already...

Is this normal? Or are slightly larger ladies with bigger boobs more likely to put on more weight at the start? I am worried I'm going to balloon and just feel really heavy and large the whole time and then remain 2 sizes up

And how much exercise are you all doing? Have you changed your routine much? Sorry for all the questions! Hope all is going well.

Had my 12 weeks scan date come through today!! 5th March when ill be 12+2. I'm going to be consultant led due to my conditions/history.
Had my midwife book my 16w appt for Friday 27th March, and my consultant for Monday 30th march 🙄 hoping I can cancel or move one of those 😂
Anyone else had their scan date through yet?? Xx

Feel like I'm matching you almost identically. Scan date through for 5th march when I think I'll be 12+1 then shared consultant care because of history. So consultant appointment 27th March and next midwife appointment 13th march because she's seeing me at 14 weeks.. not sure why really as I thought it would be 16 weeks...

@Lyndsey8880 I was booked in for the scan when I first called to book with midwife. Mine is the end of February sometime.

Glad I’m not the only one gaining weight. I’m close to a stone from the start of December when I was at my ideal weight.

Clothes are definitely getting tight on the waist!
my 12w scan is end of next week. Nervous/excited. Less nervous after my 10+2 scan it can’t help those nerves creeping in!

Every single bit of this is the same!!

in between me feeling sick it’s like intense hunger after an hour of eating !!! And if I don’t eat then I’m back to feeling sick! Today I’ve already had crumpet 2 toast fruit yoghurt cereal bar and now I’m eating soup and a cheese toasty!!!

I look very pregnant having to wear baggy clothes as family and our other two children don’t know still!
my breasts have double in size easily and my nipples Christ they have grown in length hahaha didn’t know it was possible!

Currently 7 weeks and 6 days with my first ever pregnancy. Felt really anxious the first couple of weeks that something was going to go wrong. Then felt okay for a bit but anxiety is fully back now. 12 week scan is booked for 4 weeks time. Any advice that isn't to book an early scan?

@jmstar It is really hard and everyone worries 😘

If I’m spiralling I keep repeating to myself no amount of worrying can change things and worrying won’t make things hurt any less so try to enjoy every day of being pregnant whilst you have no reason to think otherwise.

Another one on the other end of the spectrum someone told me is you worry about them for the rest of your life so you might as well start now 🤣

both are much easier said than done xxx

it's great having this thread, but so easy to click on others for curiosity but they just end up making me spiral a bit.

@jmstar I'm a few days behind you and finding the anxiety the hardest part, I'm doing similar to @Utardelis and just reminding myself that today i'm pregnant and no worrying will change anything that is going to happen.
It's soo hard though!

Hello! Im about 8 weeks and been having this since about 5 weeks. I think it’s caused by increased levels of progesterone and a pretty usual pregnancy symptom as long as no smell or other UTI / thrush type symptoms! X

Feel like everything has properly started this week, I had my private NIPT on Tuesday at 10+2, baby measuring 10+4 and we could see them wriggling around and waving on the scan 🥹 Just waiting for the results now. Then had my booking appointment this morning, they’ve said I should only need to go back to hospital for the scans and should see the community midwives for the rest of my appointments if everything stays well which is a relief. All feeling a bit more real now! How is everyone else doing?

I don’t have uti or thrush symptoms and I don’t think it smells (I have a blocked nose) just worried as I had clear discharge in my previous pregnancy but this time it’s yellow which didn’t seem right
