Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🥹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

Currently 8+3 and feel like I’m truly in the pits of first trimester. Doesn’t even seem to be morning sickness but throughout the day nausea, vomiting in the mornings and at night now. I’m taking it as a good sign that hormones are increasing but it’s hard not to feel sorry for myself. And it’s nowhere near as bad as I know some people get it. I just feel like all I can do is eat, be sick, sleep, repeat. Constant snacking helps but it’s hard to make myself eat when I feel sick and I’m conscious not to overeat as I’m aware I’m already more sedentary than usual. Anyone else going through the trenches too?!

I am just coming up to 8 weeks, luckily vomiting is only first thing but the nausea and being useless is 24/7 😂
People who have persistent vomiting are heroes!

Oh you poor thing! I am 8+1. I have nausea in the mornings and evenings, no vomiting yet but a lot of tiredness.
I am eating a LOT though - bought a 6 pack of Pom Bears yesterday, they've all gone :(

Depends how sure you are on your dates. If your dates are reliable I think week seven is an ok time to check.
I bottled it today and called my EPU to ask for another scan. 12w scan feels so long away and I can’t seem to focus on much without the worry creeping in

How is everyone getting on?

I’m feeling very stressed. I’ve booked an early reassurance scan for the weekend when I’ll be 7 weeks to try and calm my nerves a bit. We’ve had a really rocky journey TTC and it’s so hard to focus on the positive.

Symptom wise I’m currently very tired all of the time but struggle to get to sleep on a night (probably due to my brain not switching off). I’ve also got such sore boobs. They were unbearable last week and have now settled to just being sore and uncomfortable.

Hoping by next week I’ll feel a bit more cheerful once I’ve seen a tiny heartbeat on a screen

@Fullofconfusion I feel exactly the same, my body feels tired but when I try and nap I just lay there wide awake!
I've got a scan booked for 8 wks but im so nervous of anything going wrong, had some brown spotting which has made me terrified, its not easy is it!

Congrats on all the scans with happy outcomes!!!!!
We had a private scan on 30th Jan. Baby measured 7+2 With a strong heartbeat. Such a relief.
I thought i was 7 weeks exactly although I knew i could have been a day out either side. But I think the sonographer measured slightly over.
Got our 12 week scan booked for 12th March when ill be closer to 13 weeks.
Unsure of when to book my NIPT screening. Wondering whether to hang on until I see whether I get it on the NHS if I come back as high risk or not.

I CANNOT STOP EATING!!!!!!! I feel nauseous if I don't have food in my mouth. But then nauseous when I think of putting food in my mouth cos im so full all the time. Not been sick though thankfully.
My boobs are huge.
I finally gave in and went to the docs about the constipation. Its Hell. 3 weeks im been suffering. Got some fybogel.
Exhaustion is getting the better of me. I dont usually nap. But I can pass out in the sofa at 2 In the afternoon now.

All good signs I guess but this first trimester is hitting way harder then it did with my Son. Im blaming it on my age. Im now late 30's Instead of early 30,s. A decade makes a huge difference.

Anybody got any guesses on whether they are having a Boy of Girl.

I think im having another Boy.
I guessed correctly with my Son. I just get a feeling and I've felt the same this time too. Can just sense it being a Boy. But couldnt care less either way. Just a healthy Baby would be nice.

@LuckyDuck93I hope everything goes well with your scan. I was ok until this week. I was anxious but felt like I had it under control. But this week on the run up to the scan I’ve just totally spiralled. We’re currently undergoing counselling with Petals from our previous loss and we have another session coming up so hopefully the talking will also help. I would rather have held out for 8 weeks to get a better view of baby but I don’t think my anxiety can last that long so we’ll be just over 7 when we have our scan (if my calculations are correct anyway)

I am suffering, had to contact GP for sickness meds today and been off work this week. Praying they help a bit, but given I had hyperemesis last pregnancy I’m not holding out much hope 😂 given cyclizine but it’s just adding to the exhaustion as well, pretty sure I’m sleeping early 18 hours a day at this point 🤦🏻‍♀️

those who have had an early scan is it internal or external? I’m 7+4? Thanks

Today I've just noticed some pink blood when wiping and I'm freaking out. I don't think I had this in my first pregnancy and I can't help but think the worst...

@unsureforevermore most places will try abdominal first - if they cant get a good view they will ask you to empty your bladder and do internal

@Fullofconfusion my anxiety has gone through the roof as my early scan approaches as well - felt like I was doing okay but the thought of going through another MMC is a lot 😓

My spotting had stopped for a few days and just had off white mucus. But now, for the first time, I've had a tiny clot and bright red blood on my pad.. called EPU and they said to monitor and call back if it gets heavy.
Saw my little baby at 5w6, and on Saturday at 7w4... now the terror is back and cannot cope 😭

I’ve got some brown spotting today. 7 weeks. I’m beside myself, rang EPAU and they won’t scan me until 8 weeks. I have a private scan booked for the weekend and I don’t know whether to go or cancel or what. My last miscarriage started like this and within 2 days I was fully miscarrying. I had cramps last night and I’m just sort of uncomfortable today.

I know that no one will be able to reassure me, I’m just venting. I think this is another loss and I’m just broken.

Hi everyone!
I had a scan last Saturday, expected to be 7+3 but they put me at 6+3 and baby’s heart rate was only 114. They said that’s perfectly normal and within range for 6+3 but it panicked me.
I’ve booked to go back next Saturday 14th to give baby 2 weeks.
I’m hoping everything’s okay and the heartbeat will be much stronger next week x

@Fullofconfusion so sorry for your stress - not sure why EPU wont scan… it’s normally 6 weeks

is there a window to the womb in your area? They will scan if bleeding present and if you call can often get you in the same day xx

@Utardelisthats where we’re booked for the weekend. I think I’ll ring and see if they can potentially scan sooner. EPAU was adamant 8 weeks

Morning everyone
so had my scan yesterday measuring 7+4 everything was fine ! Saw babies heartbeat and they can’t find any reason for bleeding if gets any worse have to call back x they did find a cyst on my ovary but said that shouldn’t impact anything!

I feel utterly horrendous I feel like the life has been sucked out of me I feel sick 247 making me heave all I can eat is carbs but I just want to sleep 😴 us woman get the shit deal don’t we!!!

@unsureforevermore glad to hear your scan went well! Must be such a relief! I am with you there on feeling horrendous I am getting worse even with anti sickness meds!

Just had a scan as still bleeding today although not heavily. They couldn't find anything at all and just advised to come back in 10 days to see if any change as it's possible it's just too early to detect anything, but also maybe an early miscarriage. According to LMP I would be 6+4 today and they detected something, just a sac, at 5 weeks with my previous pregnancy! So I'm pretty sure this is a loss and I don't know how I'm going to get through the wait for another scan just to confirm what feels obvious

Just thought I’d check in and let you all know I had my early reassurance scan and here is little bean measuring 8w5d with a strong heartbeat and a due date of 11th September ❤️ I feel unbelievably lucky to have been blessed with this pregnancy 🙏🏼

So sorry to hear this!! Fingers crossed that it’s just really early stages ♥️
