@jmrpinkieyeah I’m ok. I’m happy I’m in the right place! Yeah exciting could be meeting him sooner rather than later. When I first went triage Friday they said if I was term they would a done a c section that day. Yes was admitted yesterday. Maybe be in until 37 weeks then they deliver if he hasn’t need emergency c section before then. How are you getting on? Xx

When are you 37 weeks? Gosh that is hard for you but you are in the best place and so good he’s being monitored so closely. Hope the Doppler goes well today.

doing ok - still at home and no signs of infection. Stop the antibiotics yesterday so will see. Scan and monitoring last week were all ok which is good. Back in Tuesday and Friday so just a bit of a waiting game now.

I’m so annoyed. The consultant I spoke to yesterday say we get him out 37 weeks, as he’s not moving not reacting to stimuli. But spoke to the doctor today and she literally disregarded everything I have said. She said I have no reason for him to come early and I should wait until 39 weeks, I’m actually going to put a complaint in. As I just feel like no one is listening to me. And it’s like they waiting for something to go wrong before acting. I’ve hit the point I might ask to just get my stitch out try naturally and see if I need a emergency c section from that xx

Oh that sounds so so frustrating and disheartening!! Like how long do you have to keep saying about your concerns!! I wonder if you wasnt booked in for a c section would that have made a decision? God they induce women all the time for other reasons that turn out to be nothing! Im sorry your having to go through all this! Xx

Jadeypie · 15/12/2025 14:15

@Sunshinemoom if you do get your stitch out I suppose your giving your body the decision and not the drs on what happens next, how have u been feeling pain wise are contractions still happening? How's baby been moving today? Xx

Oh if I wasn’t have a c section I would be induced… makes no sense what is th difference! I’m gonna speak consultant today and say get my stitch out then and I’ll try naturally. Like you want something to go wrong to act. They discussing sending me home as well but I’m saying no as I haven’t even felt him move today so I’m unhappy to go home even if send me for monitoring daily! Xx

Yeah honestly I’m so frustrated. I’m gonna contact either ward sister or pals to complain. I don’t get how every consultant is saying different one is like let’s get him out he’s not coping then others saying no he’s fine until 39 week. I did say no wonder why their a massive investigation to maternity services atm as you don’t listen to mums and a results of that is something seriously happens to the baby xx

dubkitten · 15/12/2025 18:28

That is ridiculous- the one thing they tell us to watch out for is a decrease in movement, you told them that’s happen and they are brushing it off!! I’m so annoyed on your behalf!

Yeah you are told all the time if any changes in movements come in asap. But actually we just brush you off as ctg look ok? 😩 I’ve put compliant in to pals this afternoon. Like I’m not asking you to deliver him right now. I’m asking can we bring c section forward for when he’s term as he’s clearly not happy! Xx

I hope so. Also got blood results back that I could be diabetic had glucose again in my urine earlier and protein which I always have. Even though passed the oral glucose blood test with flying colours, but today glucose was high in my urine. So took bloods and it’s come back high. So now waiting what they want to do about this. But it could explain his reduced movements

Hi guys argh lots happening today @Sunshinemoom I’m so sorry you’re going through all this he just needs to be here now doesn’t he? I find all this baby having to stick to what’s normal for them so stressful. In the older days as long as u had 10 kicks an hour all was ok now im just stressed all the time. Also what’s the point in doing the ctg if they ignore the results 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.
im another one with a gaviscon bottle In every room lol it’s horrific I don’t sleep more than an hour and a half at all any more the heartburn just wakes me up. Ooh and my belly button is still an inny lol I do have that dark line though.
ive got a scan Wednesday, cardiologist appointment Thursday lots of heart investigations to decide how im safest giving birth 😬. Then pre op Friday then ditch the stitch Monday. Xxx

@Gizmo1983honestly it’s so frustrating! Something going on with him which isn’t making him happy. Yeah it’s so stressful. I don’t get why the ignore what they are being shown on ctg. I had one when his Hr base was 160bpm and I said to them that so usually for him as he normally sits 135-140bom and they literally said to me it’s in the normal range, but it’s not normal for him to do how does that work.

oh heartburn is literally the worse!! Hope you scan, and cardiologist appointment goes well. How you feeling for the stitch coming out? Xx

Got called into the kitchen in work today to be greeted with cake and presents, was so embarrassed as I hate being the centre of attention 😳

just opened the pressie now and got spoiled - got a lovely dressing gown and slippers from The White Company, some books for the baby, some clothes and a pair of Nike air force.

Oh that’s such lovely gifts!! Very lucky!

Gizmo1983 · 15/12/2025 22:03

Omg @dubkitten how sweet and kind is that and what lovely thoughtful gifts ❤️. I bet u cried xx
@Sunshinemoom it’s not nice when each dr says something different as one has to be wrong as well as one being right.
At least they are monitoring so if something starts to happen they can get him straight out.
im defo not looking forward to the spinal it sounds quite invasive half of me just wants baby to arrive straight away the other half thinks hopefully we get to 37/38 weeks. I think even though slightly early i just hope it sets labour off as it’s been so stressful and i just want baby here safe xxx

@Gizmo1983yeah I just want straight answers or why he’s stopped moving as much just some sort of reassurance. Yeah but I don’t feel good that they only going to act if something is going wrong. 🤔 at least the offered your spinal. They said to me if I got stitch out would just be gas and air and on labour ward 😭 yeah I totally get that. Just want baby here safe and sound. Xxx

Thegirlhasnamechanged · 15/12/2025 22:20

So… my waters broke this morning. I knew baby wasn’t going to wait until 39+2 for her planned section 😅 it’ll be 37+1 or 2 dependant on how things carry on playing out.
