Wondering if anyone has got a positive recently and would be due late April / Early May 2026? ✨

@brightandbeautiful89 Don't be worry yourself, it is completely normal to not be able to see a heart beat at 5+5.

@brightandbeautiful89 I have been worrying lots too but honestly it is way more normal to not see a heartbeat at 5+5 (or even 6) than it is to see one. The sonographer even said to me today that they don’t often see heartbeats so early, and she usually recommends 7w to be sure.

@Einszwei@Screenburnthank you, they didn’t see a fetal pole either though. I called the EPU for reassurance but the nurse just said she couldn’t say what is normal at this stage and they don’t recommend scanning earlier than 6 weeks as it can cause more anxiety. I’m really spiralling now

Same! I got my 3+ yesterday, I was so relieved as I had tested on Wednesday expecting a 3+ and it said 2-3. I feel ready to stop testing now though after seeing it.

I have my 1st epu scanned booked for 7 weeks, I would wait if you can manage, because I keep reading experiences of early scans and the anxiety it can cause if it's even just a little too early x

I'm sorry your are feeling so anxious.

If it helps any, I did lots of research when deciding about the early scan and I read so many posts about ladies in the same position, it was a little too early and then they had good news at their next scan a few weeks later.

Early pregnancy is such an anxious time isn't it. Do you have another scan booked soon? x

How’s everyone doing? After a day and a bit of feeling totally fine and thinking this pregnancy is definitely not viable now I suddenly feel very sick again.

I am still worried that the clear blue test still showed 1-2 weeks. Also if I am only 5 weeks should I be this nauseous so early? Does that mean I am doomed to months of sickness? Last pregnancy I had pregnancy nausea from weeks 7-14 but never this early? Any advice? This time is such a head f&&k

@Ladyinpink1thank you so much, it’s an awful time! I have another scan at the EPU in 12 days (such a long time to wait!) and one at a hospital on weds but I’m worried that one will still be too early and not anything and cause further anxiety

Do you have a link for the April one? My etd is 24th April!

That is another 4 days away and at this stage everything grows and changes so fast, so Wednesday's scan may be the right time? x

Good evening ladies! Sorry been MIA. Been on rub of 3 night shifts. Then yesterday was DD bday. Today was DH bday and DD party day! Lol been full on!! To those anxious about early scan try to stay positive! I know that is hard. I've not been experiencing to many pregnany symptoms. Boobs are on/off tingly but DH said they look fuller! TMI but def got constipation!!! Work (i work at tesco overnight and its extremely physical) so whilst im there my back which i already struggle with is in bits. Its so hard isn't it. If your anything like me I question every twinge/cramp etc. Just want to know my miracle rainbow is definitely okay! Xxx

Hi everyone. Been quiet as been so anxious and not feeling good. Not long to go till my first scan on Wednesday morning now (this is an ivf pregnancy) but each day is feeling like a year! I am 6+2 and feel like I’ve been possessed! Totally exhausted, with sore boobs and nausea. Not been sick yet but struggling a lot with strong food smells and knowing what to eat (and having to eat so dang often to stop that horrid empty stomach feeling). How is everyone else doing? Anyone else at a similar stage to me? I’d say the exhaustion is worse than I expected at this point tbh. I’m desperately hoping our scan goes well so it at least feels more real while struggling through.

Joining as I’ve tested positive :) I’ve tested for a few days now and the line is getting progressively darker. I am around 4 weeks.

This is my first pregnancy and I was so surprised that we have to wait until 11-14 weeks for the first scan. Does anyone have any experience of going for an early private scan? Or is this unnecessary unless there is a cause for concern?

Usually unless concerned thecfirst scan is 12weeks or you can pay privately. Im 5 weeks but have an early scan next week due to problems with my fallopian tubes and a MC I had in May. Register with your local midwifery team asap and then you'll recieve a booking appointment at around 10 weeks where they talk through well everything lol they will also book your scan in 😘

I'm abroad and am having a early first scan tomorrow at between 6 and 7 weeks. I have private health insurance so the first scan is covered under that, then the next one will be at 12 weeks.

Hi @magpie234we are at similar stages. I am 6w 3 days. I also have a scan on Wednesday morning and am petrified! After a chemical, partial molar pregnancy and a miscarriage in July, all within 13 months I am on tender hooks at the moment and dreading my scan on Wednesday. I’ve only got mild symptoms so far, but still got plenty of time for them to kick in 🥴. I’m here for a hand hold as I certainly know what you are going through. x

Ive booked a private scan at 8 weeks as i find it too long of a wait 😂 but so expensive ! so its a luxury which sucks.

@BabyBorn So sorry to hear about your losses. Shall be thinking of you on Wednesday and hoping all goes OK for us both then. I know… I am scared mine are going to get worse! Though in a way I kind of want to throw up because the constant nausea is grimmmmm and it might give me some relief?! The glamour! 💕

@magpie234@BabyBorni am behind you at 5w4d but also have a scan on weds which I am dreading. It’s all I can think about so you’re definitely not alone. My symptoms are horrendous but I am on progesterone so may be caused by that

@brightandbeautiful89 Shall think of you too then! Come on the Wednesday scan gals! How are you feeling? I am also on progesterone… pessaries 3 times a day. The glamour! Sucks that I have to take them till like 16 weeks or something according to my fertility clinic 🫠. But also feel reassured to have them so swings and roundabouts!

Hey ladies! Yes, here’s hoping scans are positive for all of us! So many women are on progesterone! Why were you both prescribed it if you don’t mind me asking? I am so sensitive to my own natural progesterone so I would be so ill on progesterone pessaries I think! 🤢🤮😂 x
