Wondering if anyone has got a positive recently and would be due late April / Early May 2026? ✨

Hi everyone! I am 38 weeks tomorrow, feeling ok but really tired which is frustrating when my mind just wants to finish things to be ready ... but my body is saying no. Lol. I had an iron infusion last week so waiting to hopefully get the benefits of that soon!

Oh wow @Judgejudysno1fan you are so close then. How have you been getting on so far? So exciting!

@CityKity We were the same. Third baby this time. Although the good thing aboyt doing it now is that the weather is getting nicer to easily wash and dry any big items that need it from the loft.

CityKity · 19/04/2026 21:07

@Ladyinpink1 not long to go! Curious to know if your second came earlier than your first? I feel like I’m full term compared to how energetic I felt last time, but maybe that’s the toddler effect!

I’m also unusually exhausted and out of breath and interestingly my last blood tests results came back as low RBCs and low Haemoglobin, but my midwife signed it off as ‘all normal’. How did you go about getting an iron infusion - was this done privately? Keen to not continue to feel this out of it for the next 5 weeks!

Yes my first was 10 days overdue, my second was only 4 days over and labour was way faster. I had him 1 hour after being admitted.

I definitely found the second pregnancy physically harder, so much pressure down below for ages in the third trimester, having another to run after, plus your body is different.

I had my bloods redone by the midwife as I was tired and although they were borderline, another midwife decided I should get it as the tablets they gave me I couldn't take because they upset my stomach. How long ago were your bloods done? Could you ask for them to be redone now, say you are really exhausted and feel they could be lower x

This thread is so quiet.

Im currently in hospital awaiting balloon induction at 37 weeks

My beautiful baby was born last night!!!!!

5lb, tiny little.lady..after 4 days of going from antenatal to.labour ward and back and forth, the balloon induction, drip and breaking the waters only got me.to 4cm, so I ended up having a c section at 11pm yesterday.

Congratulations @Judgejudysno1fan 🥰🥰!!

I can't believe the May babies are starting to arrive already! I'll be 37 weeks this week, but so far having no signs that labour is around the corner and I'm not actually feeling as far along as I thought I would at this stage. It's my first pregnancy so no idea what to expect! Anyone having any signs that their little one might be on the way?

JJ1992 · 10/05/2026 18:55

Any more babies ? 🥰

My son was born 05/05 weighing 9lbs 2oz 💙 today was the due date, i have had 6 extra days with my perfect boy 🥰

CloudyIvy55 · 11/05/2026 04:12

My baby boy due on 15th May was born at 37+2 on 26th April weighing 6lb 5oz.

Ended in an emergency c section after being fully dialated but only finding out at the last minute that he was in the wrong position. Even with the c section, they struggled to get him out and he needed a little help to get going. Certainly wasnt an easy birth but we are currently having 4am cuddles and I'm loving it 🥰

Baby girl born here on the 8th (41+2), 7lb6oz. I moved to the US this year so it was a very different experience to the NHS.

L&D nurse pushed for epidural but I stuck with hot bath and gas&air. Thankfully labour and recovery have been very straightforward. After care was exemplary - currently adjusting to the long long nights!

My little boy was born on Tuesday, 4.14am weighing 7lb 10oz.He gave us a BIG suprise by popping out very suddenly and was born in our kitchen with just me and DH there to catch him 😱 Luckily both me and him were fine.Very sleep deprived currently, but loving getting to know him during the magical newborn stage 💙😍
