Wondering if anyone has got a positive recently and would be due late April / Early May 2026? ✨

Due mid May.. comforting to see how many others also anxious after previous losses, I have one son who was my third time lucky after two miscarriages and I am riddled with anxiety now. Also relieved to see I'm not the only one experiencing a fair bit of cramping...I don't remember this with my son, is it more common with second pregnancies? Am 5 weeks 4 days today, and not a huge amount of symptoms yet. Slight nausea on and off and sore boobs on and off, bit tired on and off and the cramps. Considering asking for an early reassurance scan but not sure I want to give in to the worry as I know at this point either way it's just a waiting game..

I’m sure that each pregnancy the cramping gets a bit more ‘noticable’. A bit like the dreaded after pains 😅

Hi everyone. Got my first positive test last Thursday, if I've worked the dates out right I'll be due 24th May 2026. This is my first pregnancy so I'm feeling every single emotion, happy, excited, scared and also not quite believing its real yet. Its really early days, I think I'm only about 4 weeks so I'm really nervous about getting my hopes up. I'm thinking about booking in for a reassurance scan at about 7-8 weeks, is that a good time? I've also been getting a lot of cramps that feel a bit like period cramps, hoping it's all normal but I can't help but worry. Hope everyone else is doing well. It's been really nice to read everyone else's stories on here and know I'm not the only person going through this!

Hi due date twin 🙋‍♀️

Hi, I could of written your post ... I am also 5 weeks 4 days and feeling exactly the same, which is reassuring x

I am cautiously putting it out that I should be due late May. Tested positive a few days ago and am now 4w2d. However in July I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks. Im definitely a little more apprehensive this time round. I woke up with my symptoms lessening (last time first sign was loss of symptoms) but they've come back as the day went. I'll add the tests of yesterday and today also. Got drs this afternoon.

Hugs to everyone feeling nausea… little and often with the food even if you don’t feel like it.

Anyone else stuggling with forward thinking after a loss. All I keep saying is ‘if we make it to next week I’ll book in with midwife’ ‘if we make it to week 7 I’ll book a scan’. Feel like I need to be a bit more positive but it’s so hard….

So hard to be pregnant again after a loss... I'm definitely over analysing everything I feel and everything I don't feel. Trying to stay off google but I'm failing big time!! Today's worry is that I should be 5 weeks 5 days and have very little/no symptoms which I'm aware is completely normal, but that won't stop me obsessively worrying about it 🤦‍♀️

deathlyhallows21 · 16/09/2025 10:54

Has anyone got any experience with being told they have suspected twins?

Fingerscrossed2025 · 16/09/2025 12:47

Hi , im here to chat as im also struggling to stay positive after losses , my last was a missed miscarriage, but my previous loss was 16.5 weeks and he passed in my arms after delivery, so I have been weeing on sticks over analysing every twinge ,wiping and looking for any hint of blood etc so hear to listen if you need 😊 we can do this and we can try and look forward

Hi 👋🏻

I would say that was positive ❤️

Willagorilla · 16/09/2025 13:43

@CloudyIvy55 hi! I'm a bit more tired and queasy today so feeling a bit happier 😂 who'd think they'd ever be wishing to feel sick. 🤞🙏 for us all

sellotape12 · 16/09/2025 14:06

What was the process for getting anti nausea meds @tillybud89 ? I’m struggling to bad. My sense of smell is 10x what it normally is. I can smell someone’s gym bag in this office. I can tell someone didn’t shower today. At lunch a worker in Tesco was drenched in Lynx. Feel like I am eating pollution and cigarette smells. All of this is making me wobble with nausea from morning to night time. I never don’t feel sick 🤢 (8 weeks)

Hiya. Ah i feel you! I made a doc appt because of something else but while there she asked how I was coping so I told her that the nausea was getting bad. She asked if it was affecting my ability to eat and drink and so prescribed me meds for it. I would just ring and make an appointment explaining how bad it is xx

magpie234 · 16/09/2025 14:14

@sellotape12 Sorry you are also struggling. I have been prescribed meds from my doctor and am hopeful the new ones I have just started are going to help… Xonvea. Just about to leave the house for the first time in days! So you may want to ask for those? I tried Cyclazine before that but it did nothing for me. Good luck!

sellotape12 · 16/09/2025 14:23

Ah thanks!! Yes I remember cyclizine with my first pregnancy and it doing sweet FA. Thanks. And @tillybud89 great, I have a GP appointment on Tuesday (if I can wait that long!!) I can’t eat anything other than salt & vinegar crisps which of course isn’t healthy.

Also, gah. Had to wear my Baby on Board badge on the train today because nausea has been so bad and I can’t be in someone’s armpit all the way to central London. And of course in a city of 8 million adults, today is the day a colleague was on the same train on the seat next to me. I was green with nausea. Had to swear her to secrecy after she saw my badge.

Screenburn · 16/09/2025 16:37

Oh bad luck @sellotape12 - I am dreading a similar situation on the tube!

My nausea and sickness is getting worse too (though apparently this is normal for 7+3?) Can the midwife prescribe me something (have my booking appointment on Friday) or will I need to make a separate GP appointment, does anyone know?

CloudyIvy55 · 17/09/2025 10:09

Hey everyone,

I'm feeling a little queasy today which I'm actually really pleased about 😂 I believe I'm 5 weeks 5 days. I'm also trying not to fall into the trap of over testing. I took a clear blue on what I think was 5 weeks 3 days and it came back 2-3 weeks which got me worrying a little. I really want to see 3+ weeks as it will put my mind at rest. Trying not to test but I've also just ordered two more tests off Amazon ... 🤦‍♀️

tillybud89 · 17/09/2025 15:10

JJ1992 · 17/09/2025 18:46

Can I ask a bit of TMI question.... has anyone else had creamy/ gel like discharge ? Mines has consistently been like this since just before I tested positive. I dont remember having this with my first x

@JJ1992i have literally been sitting waiting for someone to say this. This is my third pregnancy and with my first two I was ‘dry’ and very little going on. This time I constantly feel damp and lots of discharge and it’s actually quite annoying and odd!
it can be normal, I’ve been told by reliable google (lol) but it doesn’t mean I have to like it! lol! I’m 7+1 and desperate for booking appt and scan to check all ok! x

I don't know if i have misread but remember the clearblue tests tell you weeks since conception and your actual date is counted from your last period.. so those dates would work out perfectly. Hopefully this makes sense. So being 5 weeks pregnant would show as 3 weeks on a clearblue test x

That is how it works, tests show since conception and your pregnancy is weeks since first day of last period. Don’t worry! x
