I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

@Mountainview8 so sorry for your loss, mind yourself! Xx

@mumtrovert not an ivf pregnancy, but with my son I was 99.9% sure of my dates, and my scan at 8 weeks dated me at 7 weeks 1 day, which would have been impossible due to when we did the deed and when I got my positive pregnancy test etc, but had a good strong heartbeat.
Anyways caught up to my exact dates by the next scans and stayed that way throughout. If it saves you some goggling I went through a gazillion threads and apparently its so common, which is why typically, you get your dating scan at 12 weeks, as they are rarely accurate before that. Hope this offers a little reassurance x

Unfortunately I've had a miscarriage confirmed, it happened on Saturday and just had a scan to confirm. Good luck to everyone else and wishing you all smooth pregnancies.

So sorry for your loss take care of yourself ❤️

Pennyroses · 28/07/2025 17:14

Had my scan today and saw baby and heartbeat 🥹❤️ was so nervous as I'd had one 2 weeks earlier at 5+5 and only saw gestational and yolk sac. Everything looked perfect today at 7+5 and I'm soooo grateful after 3 previous losses 🤞🏼❤️

Amazing!

@mumtrovert its so good you had a heartbeat. That’s the main thing and at this stage they’re so small it’s impossible to be completely accurate. Try not to stress too much over the coming weeks

mumtrovert · 28/07/2025 18:26

Thanks @CL05071998 that definitely is reassuring.

Congratulations @Pennyroses that’s brilliant news

Thanks @Mushroo yep just trying to stay positive that we have a heartbeat ♥️

IHaveItPrintedOut · 28/07/2025 19:29

Struggling a lot the last few days. So bloated its awful, you would not believe the noises coming out of my mouth 😩 Feeling so nauseous and exhausted, dragged myself through work at the weekend and had to go home early today. Off now for 6 days thank god.

Had dull stomach cramps for 3 days almost constantly, no bleeding. Been GP today and they weren't concerned, everything seemed okay. Could be a totally unrelated stomach bug 🤢

Casper94 · 28/07/2025 19:33

Congrats @Pennyroses !

Keeping everything crossed for the next two weeks @mumtrovert , these early scans can be a bit whacky with dating and sizing so hopefully it's just that ❤️

I've had some really painful cramping today and then loads of CM (sorry if TMI) so I'm really glad I've got my scan tomorrow morning! Working tonight so that'll keep me distracted.

Have you got a busy shift tonight?

Ginnygi · 28/07/2025 20:26

We're away with the in-laws and all I want to eat is fruit. 24/7. Trying to mask it so they don't suspect anything 😂

worldwidetravel2017 · 28/07/2025 20:37

Lotsa nausea
Lotsa fatigue
Lotsa hunger..

Very nervous 4 thurs am

mumtrovert · 28/07/2025 20:39

Good luck for tomorrow @Casper94 you’re a trooper still doing those night shifts! I’m sure the cramping is all normal x

Casper94 · 28/07/2025 20:57

@Ginnygi @mumtrovert to be honest I actually prefer the night shifts at the moment as there is less to do, and cause I've already told work I'm allowed to take it easy which is nice - whereas day shifts you don't even have a chance to sneeze let alone sit down 🤣

OneHappyBrickSnail · 28/07/2025 21:02

i had a wonderful scan this morning at 7+4, showing a heartbeat and our little baby. It felt very redemptive after two back to back losses. Finally felt like I could breathe.

A few hours later my midwife text to say my urine sample that I gave last week showed I have a UTI :( I have had backache that I put down to muscle changes and no other symptoms at all, but I’m back worrying now about whether the baby could be harmed as I’ve clearly had this for a while and not known.

I’ve ordered so much fruit in our delivery this week. Cherries, apricots, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and apples 😋

@OneHappyBrickSnail congratulations on a good scan! 🎉 I had the same today and it's such a relief seeing little baby's heartbeat isn't it 🥹 I had a UTI just before I found out I was pregnant and it was pretty bad and spreading to my kidney (was in agony one night with it 😭) but the antibiotics cleared it up pretty fast. Also my friend who is currently 25 weeks found out she had one at her 9 week midwife appointment and she'd had no symptoms at all! Again antibiotics cleared it up and her baby is just fine 😊 don't worry, it's very common in pregnancy x

Casper94 · 28/07/2025 23:23

@OneHappyBrickSnail I had a UTI for several weeks without symptoms in my first pregnancy that once discovered cleared up with antibiotics, no harm to baby at all :)

Bumblebee1984 · 29/07/2025 05:38

@Mountainview8so sorry for your loss

@OneHappyBrickSnail@Pennyrosestbats great you had good scans. @mumtrovertas others have said they’re so small at this stage and could be measuring error. Hoping the next scan they have caught up a bit. You saw the heartbeat and that’s great news.

Emilyj13 · 29/07/2025 07:34

Someone please help with reassurance, I am 6 weeks 3 days and woken this morning to all boob pain gone. This happened this exact time to me before which ended in miscarriage. Has anyone had similar but it resulted in a healthy baby?
I know on the internet it says it can come and go but my head is spiralling as it’s exactly the same time as previously. :(

Mummysparrow · 29/07/2025 07:39

@Emilyj13i am 5+6 and my boob pain is less today but still got a shit ton of indigestion 🤣 if I remember with my previous pregnancies my boob pain didn't stick around long. So I wouldn't worry.
My daughter got sent home yesterday with a temperature. She got a decent night sleep in but her temperature is already back up to 37.6. she only has a cold so is still full on energy 🤦 not work for me today but not necessarily bad with how tired first trimester has me 🤣

Orangelover · 29/07/2025 08:15

6 weeks today here. Been really good and didn't keep testing beyond my positive and 2-3 weeks clearblue but I've been psyching myself out anxiety wise so just did one of my cheapy strips this morning and it was a proper dye stealer so I'm reassured by that (probably means absolutely nothing but I'll take it Blush).

DH has told me to just book the scan I've been hovering on.
Also received my booking in appointment for the 21st Aug so looking forward to that if we're all good at that point Smile

Emilyj13 · 29/07/2025 09:42

I have brought my scan forward to the weekend, it wasn’t supposed to be until next week but I am so anxious I would rather know.
I should be able exactly 7 weeks, should I expect to see a heartbeat this early?

Yes, it should be visible.

With regards to your previous question, symptoms can come and go and I don't think they are a reliable thing to go by. However, you're totally valid in how you feel, especially given your history. It's normal to be a lot more anxious after previous losses.
