I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

@Ginnygi I had a beta at 6+0 and was only 3366 so can’t see it jumping up that much. Thanks though, I keep looking for loopholes too but just trying to be realistic

WishingUponARainbow · 28/07/2025 09:00

Wishing those with scans well today and hope you all get wonderful news 🤍

Ginnygi · 28/07/2025 09:11

It went well. Thank you so much for the support ladies ❤️

It was an abdominal scan as well which I definitely preferred.

TheFutureIs · 28/07/2025 09:16

Lovely news @Ginnygithats reassuring to hear it was an abdo one too. Mine I’ll be 8 weeks for so hope abdo too. Although if it means I see baby a vaginal one would be fine too

Brilliant news @Ginnygi very happy for you! 😃

Ginnygi · 28/07/2025 09:27

Thank you ladies 💓

Thefuturels, I had abdo at 8 weeks in the past and the views were really clear. Definitely didn't expect abdo at 7 weeks though! Was worried they couldn't see anything abdominally and I would be freaking out while we move on to internal.

WishingUponARainbow · 28/07/2025 10:13

@Ginnygiamazing! So glad it was happy news x

Bumblebee1984 · 28/07/2025 10:26

@Ginnygirhats great news. @TheFutureIsi had abdominal one at 8 weeks last week and was really clear

ItsRainingWataa · 28/07/2025 11:07

On the cusp of end Feb and early March, but had my first scan yesterday and dating is currently 1st March so thought I'd join. Had a little read through but it's a long thread getting me quite emotional.
Was having stronger symptoms earlier on which reduced a lot the last two weeks so booked a reassurance scan yesterday to find out one way or another. Ended up mostly good news, baby measuring 9 weeks exactly with a strong heartbeat, just slightly less reassured when a second sac was found containing a yolk but not viable, measured roughly 3 weeks behind, sonographer didn't seem concerned about it affecting the pregnancy but it's left slightly more worried. Not sure if anyone's ever had this in here. Have called my midwife but she seems happy for me to wait for 12 week scan so I think I'm ok to stay positive

Ginnygi · 28/07/2025 12:04

@ItsRainingWataa I've heard of similar or identical stories where everything worked out well.
Sorry to hear one sac was empty, that probably left you with a lot of mixed feelings ❤️

Ginnygi · 28/07/2025 12:08

@mumtrovert not sure when I'll be able to look at my phone again today but I'm thinking of you and your scan in under two hours now 🤞 🤞 🤞

mumtrovert · 28/07/2025 12:09

Thanks so much @Ginnygi just getting ready to leave work now. Feel so sick & need a nervous poo 😂😂

welcome and congratulations on your scan and strong heart beat defo something to be positive about ✨☺️🙌I have heard of someone having this before not personally but the other sac went away on its own the body absorbed it I think and no harm to baby she had healthy baby boy 🥰

Ah thank you, yes a lot of what I'm reading suggests this is the most likely thing so I'll stay positive, only 3 weeks until my 12 week scan anyway so all being well there I think I'll be feeling much more positive for the developing one :)

@Ginnygi Thank you, yes it is sad to think about the other, would have been lovely if both had developed but it was pretty clear yesterday only one had a chance. I've been looking into it none stop since, doesn't seem it will affect anything with the developing one so I'm allowing myself to stay positive until the next scan, I'm sure the nerves will kick in as I get closer but think anxiety is always normal around scans

Mountainview8 · 28/07/2025 14:30

Unfortunately I've had a miscarriage confirmed, it happened on Saturday and just had a scan to confirm. Good luck to everyone else and wishing you all smooth pregnancies.

Casper94 · 28/07/2025 14:34

So sorry to hear that @Mountainview8 take care of yourself sending love ❤️

mumtrovert · 28/07/2025 16:10

Mixed news for my scan. Baby is there and with a strong heartbeat, she’s said it’s not slow & it’s not irregular so they’re not concerned with that.. but I’m measuring 5+6 and I should be 7+2. It’s an IVF pregnancy also so no ambiguity on dates. They’ve said it could go either way basically so I’m still in limbo. I’m going back in two weeks for another scan.

Trying not to spiral and Google things, though inevitably I will. I just want to be able to feel excited for this pregnancy so I’m going to put a positive hat on and hope in a fortnight it’s caught up or at least showing good growth.

Any positive stories would be lovely! 🙈

Ginnygi · 28/07/2025 16:20

@mumtrovert I have something relevant to share from my successful pregnancy.
I had a scan at 7 weeks and then at 8 weeks but when they measured CRL at 8 weeks, the measurements were exactly the same as the week before.. I questioned that and a different person remeasured, getting much higher CRL.

So it seems there can be variation between people.... Days wise, it was at least 7 weeks difference between the two sonographers from what I remember.

Ginnygi · 28/07/2025 16:21

@Mountainview8 I'm so sorry ❤️

honestly got everything crossed for you and got a good feeling for you 🤞🙏🏻✨ just maybe been taking a little while to catch up, hopefully when you go back in a few weeks it’s caught up too 🥰 so happy you seen a heart beat though that’s really positive

mumtrovert · 28/07/2025 16:26

Thanks @Ginnygi I do also have a tilted uterus so I was a ‘difficult scan’ as she said. It was hard to get a clear view. But the growth probably ties with my low hCG so seems more probable that it is small. Although we don’t know for certain.. I’m just assuming! Hopefully it’ll be all caught up in a fortnight .. trying not to think about it and just enjoy it. At least I have a heartbeat, that’s what I have to focus on.

I’m so sorry @Mountainview8 😞

mumtrovert · 28/07/2025 16:28
