I have just had a positive result! Looks like I’m due early March 2026.
Second baby for me, eldest is 9 in September.

Thought it would be lovely to have somewhere to share our progress

@mumtrovert keeping fingers crossed for you, but yeh, I feel the same, even though they’re ‘not accurate’ they obviously are pretty accurate and high hcg would be picked up!

Im going to do another one tomorrow, and book a scan, just want to know either way really!

I did a test yesterday that can look at different levels of sensitivity. It w
Has a week indicator but it's from conception randomly and my HCG is looking higher then expecting so I am happy with that.
I am 5 weeks today and I keep getting waves of nausea 😩

@gregleti got it on Amazon last year but not sure if they sell them anymore. It's a fanicer quick response with weeks indicator

I think it is not so much that the tests aren't accurate, it is more that the normal ranges vary so much. 6 weeks pregnant (about 28dpo on this table) can be anything from 4000 to 30,000 mlU/ml and if you ovulated or implanted a few days later in your cycle than average then hCG could be as low as 2,000 and still be normal.

Aw I know but you might just get a surprise il hold everything crossed for you for Monday🤞🙏🏻 them tests are a joke though and at least it’s not going back the weeks which shows you HcG is still high ❤️

@RadishTea I know, my levels could still be completely normal but not over the threshold, it’s just so stressful when you don’t get the result you’re hoping for!

@Orangeloverbe careful what you wish for. This pic (once uploaded) was a text I sent to my husband this morning on my train down to London! I had ZERO symptoms with my little boy and really wanted them for reassurance. I’m 7+1 today and the nausea has been relentless the last few days from the second I wake up to the second I go to sleep. It stops every now and again but then comes back again. It’s like feeling constantly hungover 🤕

@Orangeloveri had barely any symptoms with DS4 if that reassures you, this pregnancy ive had slight nausea since 12dpo lol

If it helps @Orangelover all I had symptoms wise with DD was a bit of heartburn and hip pain right at the end!

@mumtrovert try to distract yourself the next few days, I know easier said than done - for some people evening urine is stronger than the morning one so it may just be time of day! I'd assume it's all okay until you're told otherwise ❤️

Just had my scan this afternoon and all was good and saw the heartbeat. Measured at 8+2 so couple days ahead. New dd is 2nd March.

I am feeling so anxious today. I rang the EPU about the large cyst they found on my private scan and they have booked me in for tomorrow morning to measure for themselves (I think). Everything I’ve googled says it’s fairly common and maybe it’s my hormones but I feel so tearful.

@Bookedsolid glad that they've arranged an appointment for you sooner rather than later, I had a cyst in my last pregnancy and they just measured it and kept an eye on its growth each scan, no affect on the baby!

Omg I had a hot bath tonight with my daughter and then had a major panic cause I forgot we shouldn't sit in too hot water now so now I'm gonna be spiralling for the rest of the evening :(

As long as it’s not consistently hot like a hot tub you’re fine! Please don’t worry, our little beans are very well protected in there

I’ve had more bleeding this afternoon this time last a few hours but then went brown. I know we saw the heart beat at the scan yesterday but makes me so anxious! Taking comfort that I’ve had no pain accompanying the bleeding and still have symptoms but this is just bliddy awful has me anxious every time I go to the toilet!

I had a cyst in my last pregnancy too- they said it was quite common and they just tracked it with each scan and it eventually disappeared by itself.

Feeling pretty upset. Im having pretty bad cramping and bleeding now with a loss of the mild symptoms I was having. Have drs appointment booked 😭

@Casper94 thank you for replying, it honestly helps hearing that other people have had the same and it’s been fine. And I’m sure the bath is fine! If it was with your daughter I’m sure it won’t have been too hot! I do understand the worry over the small things though!

@Apricotjam23 thank you, can I ask if they offered you extra scans or just the regular ones? Was it considered a large cyst?

This thread is not a happy place right now - really feel for everyone struggling too!
