Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

I'm officially 5 weeks today!! I feel like time has gone SO slow since my first bfp!
I don't really have many symptoms apart from being horribly bloated. When did you all start to get symptoms?
I've also made my first booking appt with the midwife for when I'm 9 weeks. Starting to feel real now 🥹

@jelliebean9 yep that happened to me almost exactly 6 weeks! I'd been eating so healthy until then and suddenly went off almost everything. Now pretty much all food other than bread and tomatoes makes me feel sick! Trying to drink some smoothies and fruit juices to get some health into me haha.

I’m also struggling so much with emptying the potty, it’s making me gag so much 🥲

I’m with you on this one 😩😩😩 I keep smelling smells and thinking ‘wow I don’t like that anymore!’ When it never use to bother me. It’s not great with a toddler and you have to do all their food etc too!

It’s currently 26degrees in the midlands and both my children are fidgety and crotchety on it 😬😬
I’m off all sorts of food. Can’t stomach almost everything but also need to keep a full ish stomach or it gets worse. Compared to previous pregnancies this is absolute heaven. I can actually forget I’m pregnant for a bit! It’s not all consuming because I can’t do simple day to day like sitting up, supporting my own weight or brushing my hair. Time is going fast! (Sort of) …definitely comparatively…
private scan on Sunday at 8w1d. Then if all still ok I might be able to relax a bit until dating scan. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yeah I get what you’re saying! I’m not even 4 weeks so I’m not overly focused on a dye stealer quite yet but it’s always a bit of a worry when one test looks okay and another doesn’t 😝

Who else has got their first scan next week?? I should be 7w3 on the scan day so it’s make or break 🫣 so scary having no idea what’s going on inside you

@CharlotteRae I had a scan nearly 2 weeks ago now, she said I was between 5-6 weeks and there was a flicker which give me hope 🤞 I’ve got another booked in at Epu again for this Monday where I think I should be 7w6d

I found out at the beginning of this week I’m expecting! It’s baby no.3 for me, I already have a son who’s 5 and a daughter who’s 2. It’s a half surprise as it was only when my period arrived in May that my husband and I discussed possibly trying for a third. Anyway, fast forward a month and I’m pregnant 🫠 due about 22nd February I think. I was in a group like this for both my previous pregnancies and loved following along with everyone. Can I ask how I go about joining the facebook group?

8 weeks today with my second one horrible nausea at the moment and sore boobs lol son who’s 5 is also sick with a stomach bug so just very tired at the moment. Got my midwife appointment next week but will wait for my 12 week scan :) as in no early scans for me

is anyone else still doing the occasional test for some reassurance. I know it’s silly but as I have some cheapie strips from savers left I just thought I’d use them up. I would say they aren’t getting darker now just staying the same each time but guessing that could just be the darkest that particular test goes x

On the tests, I've had a 6 week scan and everything measuring ok. My cheapies took ages to get dark and never went fully dark to match the control line. Close, but not exact. Xx

Does anyone have hardly any symptoms? I THINK I am 5 weeks and 2 days - we have an early scan booked for 30th. The wait is dragging so much! We are going to tell our parents after the scan and can’t wait.

I’m definitely not complicating with the lack of symptoms and I know it’s still very early - it just feels so hard to believe as I feel pretty much normal apart from a little bit hungrier! How is everyone feeling?

I never have much in the way of symptoms, which I know is a blessing but it’s so tricky in these early weeks when you just want reassurance that it’s not all just in your head! I’m 7+6 and looking forward to a scan next Thursday (so they can time the NIPT correctly). After the past 3 years, which has been bookended by 2 early MCs and a CP inbetween, it will be such a relief if I see a wriggly tiny baby with a heartbeat in there….

Good luck for everyone with scans coming up! I got my 12 week scan date through, 21 July. I think I'll book a private one around 10 weeks as we're going away with my husband's family and want to tell them so I want some reassurance the heartbeat is still there.

@gem90xo I'm a bit further along at 7w+6 I had strong nausea start around 5w but since then it's fluctuated a lot, all my symptoms have which has been a bit stressful. The last 10 days or so I've felt consistently groggy, tired and nauseous, like I'm hungover or something which is ironic!

Hi @gem90xo I am almost the same as you, 5 Weeks 1 day. my main symptom so far has been bloating. I haven't really had any other significant symptoms yet either. my boobs are a little sore but not in an uncomfortable way. I'm not sure when other symptoms will kick in. I haven't booked it yet, but I think I will also book in for an early scan for in a few weeks time.

First day today on anti sickness medication and it's already a much better day than the last 2 weeks!

Hungover is the absolute best way of describing the first tri! Food can make or brake you, you feel like you’ve been out dancing all night and you feel fuzzy headed and not quite with it. Only with no tequila slammers to blame 😂

@Wednesdayonline I'm on anti sickness too. Getting so fed up and just want this phase to be over so I can get out of bed 😭 did they give you Xonvea?

@Babydust99 cyclizine I think it is? Definitely working for me so far, haven't been sick since and the nausea is definitely much less. Before I was nauseas 24/7, dry heaving about 5 times an hour, and being sick a few times a day. I didn't think it would be that bad 😂😂 so naive!
