Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate6-7 weeks is probably the safest time so you should definitely see a heartbeat all being well x

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 20/06/2025 14:47

Oh that's ok then @CharlotteRaethank you, will probably be about 9-10 weeks when we choose to have one x

Yourowgirl · 20/06/2025 15:51

Hi @Beansontoast976 I found out yesterday and 4.5 weeks. Glad to have another excuse for tiredness (as well as running about after my 1 year old). Congratulations! 🙌🏻

Beansontoast976 · 20/06/2025 15:55

I'm the same 4 and half weeks I'm absolutely boiling in this weather. I haven't been getting much sleep but last night I did was a god send so not feeling to bad today, do you have much symtoms? Congratulations to you too 🙂

My 10 week scan with my first was a proper baby, it was a lovely time to go! I had one last week at 7.5 weeks and it was definitely still a blob

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 20/06/2025 14:26

Hi all! Just wondering, when is the the first time you can see what resembles a baby on a scan? Might book private if it's before we go away with family 😊

When we had ours at exactly 8 weeks last time. I saw on the screen a very tiny blob that resembled a rotisserie chicken 🤣 the picture that was printed looked more like a jellybean. Friend had one at 9 weeks and it was so much more baby like!

Babydust99 · 20/06/2025 17:29

@Wednesdayonline ahh yes I think cyclizine is similar to Xonvea. Yeah my nausea has improved a good bit but still stuck in bed unfortunately. Can't wait to feel normal again.

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 20/06/2025 17:54

Haha thanks @jelliebean9and @BGxxx! I will wait as long as I can, but hopefully they give me my 12 week one early now I'm geriatric 🤣 that's what she implied on the phone when I made my booking appt!

Yourowgirl · 20/06/2025 18:55

Thank you. Not really any symptoms yet although now I’ve tested positive I keep thinking of things that I didn’t connect, or didn’t want to read too much into. I am tired but I am usually tired haha, last time I had loads of sickness from 6 weeks so trying to enjoy this part in case it happens again (and also really hoping it won’t be as bad this time)! Not having insomnia like you thankfully. Also hello anyone else around a Feb 23rd due date 👋🏻 have joined the FB group

Beansontoast976 · 20/06/2025 19:58

The link won't let me on the Facebook group x

sophiealice55 · 20/06/2025 20:51

Really happy got a 3+ today so hoping things are heading in the right direction! I’ve worked out I am 5 +4 I think! Have a scan booked for 1st July 🤞🏻 just a waiting game now!

Due February 2026 ✨
Parttimepaula · 20/06/2025 21:00

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate 10 weeks is a great week to have a scan.
I had one at 8 weeks last time and 10 weeks. Baby went from being a blob so a little kicking teeny tiny baby in that time, it was amazing! I’ve attached photos (note these are my 2023 baby not this baby 😅)

I’ve got my first scan tomorrow at 6w0d. So nervous. It’s with the EPU after multiple previous miscarriages. So silly but I’m just sat here in tears because I physically can’t relax my mind 🙈 I know this scan won’t tell me much anyway but just feeling so anxious.

Scan anxiety is horrible!! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you that all is okay! Xx

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 20/06/2025 21:42

@Parttimepaulaare they still going through approval? Amazing that you could see it moving at 10 weeks... I need this early stage to hurry up to scans and appointments and a bump instead of my fat, bloated belly that I'd just got round to sorting out after last time 🤣

Parttimepaula · 20/06/2025 21:45

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate yes they are. Hopefully they pop up soon.

Hbw18 · 20/06/2025 22:58

The heat mixed with nausea has been pretty hard work! Especially when you haven’t told anyone so can only complain to your husband about it (while still rushing round after two littles). Nausea hasn’t been too bad so far but have basically just kept eating beige to keep it at bay 😬 which worked for both previous pregnancies!

Butterflysunshine01 · 20/06/2025 23:03

Weirdly I am far less nauseous this pregnancy although maybe it hasn’t hit yet, although I’m over 7 weeks and I definitely felt it from 5 weeks last time! I am eating loads of cacao nibs on yogurt in the morning and they are really high in magnesium, so putting it down to that or coincidence 😂

SophM96 · 21/06/2025 00:35

Hi all,

I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby around 6/7 weeks based on period dates.

I'm hoping someone has some experience of something similar. My first daughter was unfortunately born sleeping so without question when I fell with my second I was referred to the EPU and monitored closely. Now I don't want all the blood tests to track hcg last time nor do I want to get a scan too early as I found them all so stressful but I would like one around 8 weeks.

Since having my 2nd, I have moved into London and it's much different here. They don't refer and it's just a walk in. Does anyone know if I have grounds for walking in and requesting one based on my history? The hospitals list of reasonings to go there doesn't have my circumstance listed so I'm a bit conflicted on what to do as I can't wait in the hospital all day and I don't have any major concerns right now, I just need the reassurance that all is well.

Thankyou for any advice in advance ❤️❤️

@SophM96I'm so sorry for your loss. No experience of this system - can you call them and ask so you know where you stand?

welcome and congrats to all new posters. ✨✨
sorry I’m not keeping up super well.

also on cyclizine… and nauseous 24/7 but thankfully my steroids are inhibiting the full wroth of hg this time.

I put this on the FB group but will also share here - if anyone that is interested in a WhatsApp wants to PM me their number and due date and I’ll set it up - I find it the best way to communicate, especially if you need reassurance in the early hours

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 21/06/2025 07:52

How do I pm you from the app? Or do I need to do it not from the app?

gem90xo · 21/06/2025 07:58

Are there any hayfever sufferers? I’m only 5-6 weeks so yet to have my midwife app and self scan is in 2 weeks. I’m reading mixed things online - are there any safe antihistamines that you can take? I have been avoiding all since I found out I was pregnant. X

Yourowgirl · 21/06/2025 08:23

Not a medical opinion but I understood all general antihistamines are fine. I used this website in my first pregnancy https://www.medicinesinpregnancy.org

LeafCorner · 21/06/2025 08:23

@gem90xo i’m 5w too and i’m suffering really badly from hayfever. I’ve opted to not take anything for it unless it’s natural, eg. nose balms. It’s really tough, but i don’t want to risk anything. That’s not to say you shouldn’t. I’ve read of people taking them and being fine.
