Tentatively making this bus, as I don’t think there is one yet. Got the start of my BFP yesterday, and I can see the line developing today. Going to continue to test until AF is due. So far due 2nd Feb 😬 Anyone with me?

@MountainBunny that's so bad of them! Honestly the amount of times people have doubted my pcos because I'm not overweight. Thankfully never a health professional though.

MountainBunny · 04/06/2025 17:26

I've had one miscarriage but my clinic have prescribed me Progesterone.

I'm actually in the middle of a formal complaint against my GP who told me I can't have PCOS because I have two children already, and I'm not overweight 🙄

wait. WHAT?! Bloody heck. I’m so sorry you had to go through that with your GP 😔😔😔 I hope you get some closure through the process. It’s totally unacceptable 😔
i was very close to lodging a formal complaint several years back with gyne. They refused to do a laparoscopy for my endometriosis and insisted I have the coil for 10 years instead to mask my pain and symptoms. Totally ignoring the fact we wanted to try for our first baby and a coil kind of counteracts that. I’ve never been spoken to by a doctor in a way that was belittling before.

Had my early reassurance scan this evening, 5w6d and a heartbeat :) I know it's no guarantee but nice to know it's all in the right place!

Parttimepaula · 04/06/2025 22:01

Random symptom from last time that has returned today. Bleeding gums!
I had it so bad in my last pregnancy I was really hoping I’d swerve it this time around!

Anyone else have specific symptoms that have reared their ugly heads?

last time I had a bunged up nose for the first 12 weeks at least and constipation that lasted until well after my LO was born. What a delight

Oh no. That sounds painful!
im really breathless when I’m doing any form of walking or activity 🤣 which I had last time. I remember my boobs being so much more painful at this point though and they’re ok now.
I also remember being hugely constipated as you mentioned! Hoping that one doesn’t come back for this time 🤣
did anyone else have insomnia and weird dreams? I’ve noticed that creeping in last few days

Oh the dreams!! I’d forgotten about those. I haven’t had any crazy ones yet but last time they were mad!!

I’m grateful for symptoms….I’m just so ill prepared!

Butterflysunshine01 · 05/06/2025 03:28

Yes to insomnia and weird dreams!! Trying to get back to sleep now, one year old snoozing next to me I’m jealous!

blooshboon · 05/06/2025 06:41

Parttimepaula · 04/06/2025 13:02

Oh round ligament pain….the things you forget about previous pregnancies!!

that all sounds super positive! And the 16th of June will be here in no time! I find it amazing the difference they see in only a couple of weeks!

I’ve just gone to register with docs etc but you can’t in our area until 6 weeks minimum, so annoying

Yeah! I’m hoping the next 11 days fly by! I’m happy we’ve ruled out ectopic as that was my biggest fear, just sad I didn’t get to see baby. With my previous pregnancies things were visible at 5.5 😕

that’s crazy! I self referred the day I found out I think I was 4.5, midwife had contacted me Sunday and arranged first visit and first scan!

blooshboon · 05/06/2025 06:42

Oh also, yes to insomnia and weird dreams, I’m awake more times through the night than I was with newborn DD…..

HannahTheBanana · 05/06/2025 07:30

I was thinking that I haven’t had many symptoms so far, apart from dry mouth. I keep needing to drink more too. Oh, and sore breasts but nothing extreme…

I am the opposite of constipated. I have loose BMs (sorry TMI) every Morning but I don't know if that is because I take my vitamins at night before bed. Yes to the breathlessness though. i can't walk the length of myself ha

blooshboon · 05/06/2025 08:26

Another symptom is my hearts racing! I’m usually around 65-75 resting hr. However I’m between 85-95 these days.

WildFinch · 05/06/2025 09:22

Mid-afternoon nausea, constipation and sore nipples for me. Oh and yes to insomnia and weird dreams. Last pregnancy I had such a vivid dream my husband was leaving me because I was pregnant I woke up in tears! Symptoms are good but if they fluctuate I find it hard not to worry!

Me too, I would rather the same symptoms all the time even if they’re bad🤣 I’m constantly comparing to my previous pregnancy too

clingerspaniel · 05/06/2025 12:05

I’ve also been finding myself out of breath much faster than usual, but otherwise not too bad.. until today when I’ve felt ‘off’ all morning and been sick twice, despite not feeling any nausea before hand! I also haven’t slept well in days and am feeling pretty exhausted. I just keep telling myself it’s a blip and won’t be a daily occurrence just yet 😅

Wednesdayonline · 05/06/2025 12:10

I'm not feeling great today! Nauseas and have completely gone off all food, the thought of anything is gross 😅

LCA07 · 05/06/2025 14:12

I don’t know if I’m just overthinking everything- but is anyone else worried? I’m a worrier naturally but I haven’t had any major symptoms yet and I’m so worried there’s nothing actually there. I’ve been banned from doing more tests by my partner 😂

I’ve got my early scan at the fertility clinic on the 17th then my booking appt on the 23rd. I feel like somewhat of an imposter having the booking appointment booked in case I don’t need it?

Please feel free to tell me I’m being crazy!!

I don’t think you are crazy!!! At all. If you are, then I am too… 😅 I also don’t really have any symptoms… and EPU refused an early scan… I will go privately for a NIPT but that is still a long way away (im just 5+2). and to be completely honest, I find mumsnet triggering my anxiety more than anything. How far along are you?

MO22 · 05/06/2025 16:11

I'm pretty anxious too, and very breathless just moving about. Maybe the two are related! It's just a very worrying time I think, especially if you've experienced difficulties or loss.

jelliebean9 · 05/06/2025 16:16

I totally feel the same with those of you saying you feel like an imposter. Requesting an appointment you might not need etc! I’ve just had my scan through for 4th August. Feels ages away!

Mouche85 · 05/06/2025 17:02

I have episodes of my heart racing. I can see my chest pulsing.

The most worrying is spotting. Dark red yesterday, brown today. I try to ignore it but it coincides with fewer symptoms so it's difficult to relax. I'm still a bit queasy after I eat.

A2025 · 05/06/2025 17:05

I am so glad to hear breathlessness is a symptom! Didn’t know what was going on with me.🫣

Omg that sounds so long doesn’t it🤣 I’ll be 12 weeks mid July but I’m on holiday so it’ll probably be 13 weeks+ before I get that one

MummaBear18291 · 05/06/2025 17:27

For those of you still testing, how is your line progression looking? My lines are not getting lighter but at the same time, there isn’t that much of a difference day to day. 14 DPO today and decided I won’t test today but might do another test tomorrow to hopefully see a bigger difference. I’m feeling so anxious all the time, it’s unhealthy!

Mycorallife · 05/06/2025 18:17

@MummaBear18291 I’m also 14DPO and I’ve been trying not to test too much because looking for progression is driving me crazy! I’ve managed not to today, I find it helps to tell myself every day ‘I’m pregnant today’ it stops me getting too anxious
