I have found out VERY early that I am pregnant and due early June (I am only 10dpo today) and found out yesterday I am pregnant (22 Sept)

Wanted to start this thread for those of you who have also just found out :) I found the thread when I was pregnant with my son super helpful!

I'm Lexie, 32, have a 14 month old son so am just squeezing in 2 under 2 :)

@mumofone1111 thank you for your reassurance the other day.

I’ll eat my own hat, we went for an EPU scan yesterday and we are earlier that we thought 5w6d (yesterday). We have a twin pregnancy ❤️ one heartbeat seen - scan in 2 weeks to see the other.

Im pleased to say I was wrong and thanks for your wise words ❤️🙏🏻

Big massive congratulations again 👏 really is fantastic ❤️ I'm so happy for you. I am twin too. Ans we have different birthdays as I was born 1 minute to midnight. He was 12 minutes after.

CAM8891 · 25/10/2024 14:52

@MummyMammoth congratulations! Brilliant news. Hope you're feeling ok! 🥰

@MummyMammoth that's incredible! I can imagine 🙈 my siblings are twins (ivf) I'd love twins but that's would make it 4 🙈😂
🤞🏻 for your rescan! Glad you saw a heartbeat though that's amazing news ❤️

Yeah ok thank you :)

Started to feel sick today and really tired 🙈

How's everyone doing?
I'm 7w6 but probably more like 7w3 by ovulation
Vomiting in the morning but only every other day.
Someone reassure me it's normal to fluctuate? I've had three miscarriages and one living child. I didn't have it this early with my living child.

Very normal to have fluctuations :) one day you could feel semi ok and then the following throwing up all day! It varies for me too.

codemytea · 25/10/2024 15:03

@MummyMammoth That's great news!

God, the tiredness is something else!! Even after sleeping it feels like 2am!!

It was just crazy!! Husband couldn’t get out the chair, he was like ‘whaaat, you said no twins in your family?!’ On the hour journey home we barely said 2 words to each other!!

thank you @codemytea

@HystericalDinosaur totally normal to fluctuate in symptoms!! Sometimes mine go off like a switch and come back with a vengeance.

I’m still quite early on but tiredness has hit me like a ton of bricks, and I’ve been really emotional. I took myself to my car in my lunch at work and just napped.

When is everyone telling their work that they’re pregnant?. I don’t know if it’s best to tell them early or to wait until the 12 week scan just to make sure everything is okay?.

Honestly depends on your work how you think they'll be

As soon as they know any pregnancy related "Illness" can't be discriminated against so you're safer but also if they aren't that supportive or you would just prefer not to tell them can wait :)

JustMintKoala · 25/10/2024 20:13

Hi everyone, can I join the thread? I’m 5+1 today, got my BFP at 3+4 so found out super early, and it’s been the longest 2 weeks of my life!! Lol. Hope everyone is feeling ok so far 🙏

Your call but if you tell work ASAP they have to keep it confidential, they can risk assess and you can ask for flexi working or reasonable adjustments.

5 weeks 5 days and started bleeding last night.

Google says bleeding may be okay but I can't sleep as worried for the worst. Anyone else "spotting"?

Scared to get up and check how much blood I'm losing Sad

HannahLeanne · 26/10/2024 05:32

@MummyMammoth that’s such lovely news congratulations! I hope everything goes well on your next scan.

@Daniki im so so sorry, sending love ❤️

@deleteitforpro59 this thread has taught me that bleeding doesn’t always mean the worst, maybe try and contact your doctor or pregnancy unit to check?

I’ve got my first private scan today, I’m 6+6 so I’m praying we see a heartbeat 💓

Bewildened · 26/10/2024 06:02

Congratulations @MummyMammoth - I told you you weren’t out!

@deleteitforpro59 bleeding/spotting can be fine. Just monitor it and if it doesn’t get worse then that is a good sign.

Im 7+2 and feeling like crap. Just hungry for carbs all the time and stressing about whether the pregnancy is even a good idea.

DC1 is very volatile and jealous of DC2 (easiest child in the world) and im
worried that another baby might be really hard for him.

HannahLeanne · 26/10/2024 06:21

@Sobersally sorry I completely missed your post. Have had a busy week with my daughter’s birthday /work and falling asleep at 8pm most nights. I guess tiredness is my worst symptom, sore and itchy boobs on and off, bit nauseous but not sick and completely off chicken. How many weeks are you now? How are you feeling? I’ve got a scan today 🤞🏻

I'm glad you've shared that! This pregnancy was planned and we're thrilled to have found out we were expecting again, but I've been feeling overwhelmed on and off and doubtful whether it's the right time. We have had a whirlwind recently with our daughter having been in and out of hospital (she's fine, just gets hit for six when she gets any kind of viral infection) and we've been exhausted with it all. How well juggle another one, I don't know! That and we have zero savings after recently getting married and house renovations to do. I know it will all work out but it's been taking over the enjoyment a little bit and that in itself makes me feel really guilty

I am nearly 9 weeks now but had a big enough bleed last week with spotting and cramping for a few days after. Everything ended up being absolutely fine and they don't know what caused the bleeding x
