Wanted to start this thread for those of you who have also just found out :) I found the thread when I was pregnant with my son super helpful!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking so I guess I'll say hello at least! I had my FET on 1st october and started testing (faintly) positive 6 days after. I am not supposed to test until Monday lol but I never needed my trigger injection and the line is getting stronger so I'll cautiously accept it for now! Due date 19 June according to an online calculator.

I'm a single mum by choice and already have a 2,5yo son. I've used the same donor for this one (why change a winning combination right? lol). Before I conceived my boy (through IUI rather than IVF) I had a chemical pregnancy, so really can't get that excited about this pregnancy as it's only 4w2d right now..

Wishing you all healthy and smooth pregnancies though! 🥰

Needcoffee24 · 12/10/2024 22:08

@MittensForKittens123 Wow I have heard some lovely outcomes, but also a lot of scary ones too, but thank you, scan is tomorrow at 10am so hopefully baby is in the right place 🤞

upat4am · 12/10/2024 22:50

@PlanABC congratulations! I had my FET on the 3rd, supposed to wait until tomorrow to test but also tested positive on day 6!

Very very early days, but feeling excited. Going in for bloods on Monday.

upat4am · 12/10/2024 22:56

@PlanABC and I hear you on trying not to get too excited. Have an 18 month old daughter from previous FET, but have also had a chemical from IVF and a miscarriage from a natural conception in January

PlanABC · 13/10/2024 07:30

@upupat4am congratulations and I hope this one sticks! My clinic doesn't routinely do bloods anymore.. which I don't really understand, but tbh I have had lots of issues with them this time round (private).

Hi there, I’m a SMBC too. Did my Frozen Transfer the 2nd October and have been testing positive since day 6. I had a fresh transfer a few months ago that was a chemical pregnancy. Super nervous this time around but getting much stronger positives this time and lots of symptoms. Just need to get to official test day on Tuesday to be able to relax a little bit. This will be my first baby and I’m 41.
best of luck to everyone on this journey.

Morning everybody, how are we all? Congrats to those who have joined in the last few days 🥰

I'm finding the early pregnancy anxiety very real. Constantly overthinking everything. I've booked my early viability scan for 7+5 for some reassurance, we'll tell close family after that if everything is looking ok. Going to be a long three weeks to get there though!

I'm also feel anxious a lot of the time the closer I get to the point when I've miscarried the last two times. But I am feeling reassured with how sick I'm feeling so that's helping a bit. Still haven't managed to get my 3+ on a digital but I am aware that that doesn't mean anything but does help. I've promised myself I wouldn't do an early scan till 8 weeks so also got a long 3 weeks to wait for that! X

Needcoffee24 · 13/10/2024 12:23

So, I had the scan this morning. Iud can't been seen on the ultrasound(hoping it came out last cycle) could only see the gestational sac. 5+1 or 2. Had my blood taken, and I've got back in 48 hours. Yet, it still could be an ectopic pregnancy. Feeling so emotional drained

Hi everyone! I'm currently 4w+3d with my third after IVF abroad. My husband and I both have children from our first marriages and this is our first (and likely only) together! My eldest is 16 and youngest 12 so starting all over again!
None of our family know we have even been trying to conceive. My husband had a vasectomy after his second child (we had it reversed in Jan 2023) so this will be a massive shock for them. We plan to tell them at Christmas!
I've now got to get through my 40th next month without drinking or causing any suspicion!

I've an early viability scan on 23/10 and a sneak peak gender blood test and scan on 3/11 (I plan to open the results on my birthday) so on a countdown to then. I'm all booked with the midwife and booking appointment is 6/11.

Oh and I'm also a midwife

Congratulations!! Ive been reading up about the sneak peak blood tests and I'm very tempted! I don't know how some people have the patience to not find out the gender. We don't mind whether we have a girl or boy but I just have to know Halo

Hopefully you can hide going alcohol free on your birthday! I had to do it for my wedding day and let me tell you it was hard work but after most people have a few I don't think they notice so much. I like my wine so it was too obvious to just say I wasn't drinking so I ended up leaving a lot of drinks on the table and sticking with rum and cokes (without the rum of course).

Congratulations to you too on your pregnancy! I am very similar and very nervous and overthinking everything too!

I haven't got any particular tips but keeping busy is helping my mind from running away from me. Is there anything that made you choose 7+5 for the early viability scan?

Hannah2025 · 13/10/2024 12:54

Congratulations everyone! I’m new here, due 4th June 2025. I have been really struggling with the anxiety (especially as I’ve had a bit of spotting), but I have had 2 reassurance scans which confirm heartbeat and healthy pregnancy. Trying to enjoy it! I’ve had nausea, fatigue, swollen boobs, bloating and food aversions/cravings, but I am counting myself lucky that I haven’t head my head down the loo every day (yet!!).

YorkshirePeridot · 13/10/2024 13:42

@FunnyPombear I literally only picked 7+5 as it's a Saturday so we don't have to scramble to get there after work, and it's about 4 days before my first midwife appointment so I can go into that with some positivity rather than being a ball of nerves. 🫣

@Hannah2025 Welcome in and congrats. How amazing to have had those scans (though I understand the anxiety!) Hopefully your symptoms stay manageable 🤞

LillB · 13/10/2024 14:10

Has anyone had a successful outcome after not seeing a fetal pole at 6w on the scan? Pretty much all of my symptoms disappeared overnight, apart from the sore boobs, but that's likely to be due to the progesterone I'm taking. Next scan is on the 22nd, and I'm really struggling with not knowing until then 😢

EllaBella2020 · 13/10/2024 14:51

Can I join please? 🙏 BFP today, very strong line, so think I'm actually a couple of days late ☺️ I think due date will be around 20th June 🎉 baby number 4! xx

Congratulations everyone! According to dates my DD comes out as 14th June.

Needcoffee24 · 13/10/2024 15:01

@LillB it's still very early, i had my emergency scan today 5+1 and only saw the gestational sac, no yolk no fetal pole but she advised me that at 7weeks + is when your more likely to see everything. Are you having bloods taken?

Bewildened · 13/10/2024 16:16

@Needcoffee24 im sure you must be so worried but a gestational sac is good news surely - you wouldn’t see that if it was ectopic would you? Must be a complete mind duck conceiving with a coil in.

Congrats to everyone who has joined!

I’ve got my first scan on Friday at 6+2. In all my successful pregnancies I’ve seen a heartbeat by then so it should be a good indicator for me. The morning sickness seems to be increasing which I guess is a good sign - in my other pregnancies it didn’t kick in until 6-7 weeks.

CosmoMango · 13/10/2024 16:17

@Bewildened You can have pseudosacs with ectopics but they should've checked elsewhere

Tam1993 · 13/10/2024 16:48

Congratulations!! I also found out I am pregnant on the 22nd September, due date is 5th June!!
I am 31 and this is my second pregnancy and my first is almost 13 years old!!! It’s feels like I am pregnant for the first time all over again!

Anitamartini · 13/10/2024 17:32

LacedBouquet · 10/10/2024 17:39

@Anitamartini To make you feel better, read this https://uk.clearblue.com/sites/default/files/hcp_cb9_professional_brochure.pdf

And then open up your test. I did it for mine and you can see in the attached picture I actually have a line on both the low sensitivity strip beside the dark control line (this detects higher levels of hcg) and on the high sensitivity strip (detects lower levels of hog) yet still showed 1-2 weeks. I bet if you open yours, you'll have two lines on the top strip and one on the bottom like mine

Thanks a mill for taking the time to show me that, I did read a few people saying the same as you that their bloods were high enough to meet the threshold but the test wasn't accurate.
I took a few days and tested yesterday and its 2-3 weeks (even though I said I wouldn't)
Thanks again @LacedBouquet and congrats on your pregnancy 💖

mumofone1111 · 13/10/2024 18:25

Hi everyone :) can I join please? Unexpected (surprise) positive test. Due mid June
Very happy but very shocked :)

Congratulations everyone!

Needcoffee24 · 13/10/2024 18:26

@Bewildened i am happy to see the gestational sac it's in the right place, and he seems happy too but because ive had the coil and they cant locate it/ xray me. I need to have bloods taken every 48hrs
@CosmoMango i'm having bloods done to see if they rise like they should. So I'm trying to keep positive. I didnt know that about pseudo sac. He never mentioned it.

SaturnSpark · 13/10/2024 19:02

Hey everyone! Glad I found this thread. :)

Had my first positive on 30th Sep, so I’ll be 7 weeks tomorrow (based on Flo app). Got an early scan booked for Wednesday which I decided to go for ahead of NHS one, which I’m equally excited and anxious for!

Still learning to listen to my body and get used to the symptoms, especially as this if my first. :)

teampacey · 13/10/2024 20:20

@embomumof1 I agree I definitely can't wait!! I'm so impatient 🤣 plus I'm a planner!

Hopefully I can hide it ok! We were going to go to spa but that's no good now so I suggested a shopping day and then will just get non alcoholic cocktails!
