I have found out VERY early that I am pregnant and due early June (I am only 10dpo today) and found out yesterday I am pregnant (22 Sept)

Wanted to start this thread for those of you who have also just found out :) I found the thread when I was pregnant with my son super helpful!

I'm Lexie, 32, have a 14 month old son so am just squeezing in 2 under 2 :)

The bloating is wild! My leggings are super tight round the waist. I look about 5 months pregnant already😅

I treated myself to some Lululemon Align leggings at the weekend for this very reason - I heard they can last all the way to the end because they’re so stretchy 😂

@ruthcee I'm also 5w5d with my first! Been feeling super anxious too but have calmed down over the last few days, I think because I've been so busy at work!

I'm 5w4d, but seem to be going the opposite way. I was so chill for a week, but I'm freaking out today and cant focus at work, having vaginal cramps and all sorts. I worried about maybe ive got an infection or miscarriage (belly feels so odd, almost like a UTI), but GP reassured me these things can happen. Oooh, so stressful!

MittensForKittens123 · 08/10/2024 18:02

I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow, and I also have the weird awareness what I presume is my uterus, it sort of feels like the top of by bladder, hard to explain.

If all continues well, we’re going to go for an early scan at 8weeks. Not booked it yet, as I don’t want to jinx things by paying the deposit.

i also haven’t booked my booking in appointment yet, as I’m not sure what hospital to go for - I definitely wasn’t this tentative first time around.

Congratulations to the new joiners!

I am 4+6 today and really feeling awful - extremely painful bloating, nausea in the mornings, knackered by early evening but then wide awake at 6am worrying about everything. I had a dream last night that I was having identical twins which is probably just my subconscious fears talking!

I'm wildly bloated too, I hope this passes! No other symptoms though, I just took another test as I just don't feel it.. is that normal? I'm losing it haha

Bewildened · 08/10/2024 18:11

Yeah I feel really fat and disgusting - all my trousers are too tight.

Ive never had symptoms this early in any of my other pregnancies - the nausea has always kicked in at 6-7 weeks and the bloating has never been this bad. It’s totally normal to feel nothing at all @Sparklyfi - there’s a massive range. Fingers crossed you have an easy time of it!

Omg me too 😂 I just started a new job and the shift pattern is way less intense and it’s generally much more relaxed but I have less to occupy my brain so I don’t think that is helping.
I’ve booked an early private scan at 8 weeks, I can’t wait until 12 week scan, too impatient and anxious!

allthingspinkx · 08/10/2024 18:21

Hi all just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant today with my first! Slightly overwhelmed and not sure what to expect - any advice welcome 😊

I called my Dr's & booked my first appointment with the midwife, I'll be 9.5 weeks - is it normal to wait this long?

RichTeaCheddars · 08/10/2024 18:22

Yes, my first appointment isn't until around 9 weeks as well

Bb542 · 08/10/2024 18:57

Welcome everyone 🥰 if anyone would like to join our WhatsApp group for June, send me a PM x

allthingspinkx · 08/10/2024 19:26

@RichTeaCheddars thank you! 😊

CM123baby · 08/10/2024 20:31

Hi everyone

Hope u don’t mind if I join.

I’ve been watching and wanting to join in but I’ve been anxious as I’ve had a tough time with pregnancies, this is my 10th! I have a 15 year old, all the rest have ended in miscarriage. I’ve had an ectopic, Molar pregnancy, chemical pregnancies, MMC’s the list is endless, so I’m trying to stay positive that this one could stick. I’m under recurrent miscarriage and all my test came back normal, I’ve been on progesterone since 3 days after ovulation and have a scan booked on the 29th so I’m hoping everything is ok. I was wondering if there’s any cabin crew in the chat ? As I’ve had to tell work I’m pregnant because I just don’t want to take the risk that flying every day could actually cause a miscarriage, with the slight chance I have staying pregnant! But I will feel stupid if I have to tell them once again the pregnancy wasn’t successful. I was due my period 2 days ago so still really early but just don’t want to take any chances.
Xxx

Daniki · 08/10/2024 20:47

@CM123baby god that's so tough I'm so sorry! Really hope this sticks 🙌 I'm not cabin crew but I would just tell them straight away because if you don't and something happened you will always wonder what if. Even if you get signed off sick for a few weeks so you don't have to say straight away?

CM123baby · 08/10/2024 21:08

@Daniki Thankyou ❤️ I do have a good feeling about this one but also scared to get my hopes up, I’ve had a few days where I’ve been feeling sick and my test lines are much darker than I’ve seen before but no sore boobs this time round. I think telling them is for the best, I will do that tomorrow 😬

RulledbyaTinyHuman · 08/10/2024 23:56

Evening All,
Found out almost a week ago now that I'm pregnant due 17th ish of June. Joined one of these groups with my first pregnancy and have gained a really helpful FB group from it, anything like that set up on here already? And I only remembered tonight how I got involved with it, through mum's net.😂

So 33 2nd pregnancy feeling just... Full? In my womb if that's even a thing, remember it with my first though so I'll go with it, and some backache so far but not even 4 weeks yet according to premom.

Now I've found this thread I'll have a gander back through tomorrow 😂 nice to meet you all.

Aidylrosie · 09/10/2024 06:52

Hi all, first time posting on here!
I’m 35 and found out two days ago that I’m pregnant with my first 🥰 according to premom and Flo I’m approx 4 weeks today.
I just had a feeling something was different this month, so bought a cheap FRER test and couldn’t believe it when a faint line showed up. Then I bought a clear blue digital early test and I can’t describe how I felt when I read “pregnant” - a mix of happiness and complete shock!
I’ve read quite a few of these threads in the few months we have been trying and I’ve been shocked by how many symptoms I’ve experienced so early on. Definitely feels like my body is like: BOOOOOM let’s do this 🥲
My biggest side effect is the bloating, gosh my stomach just feels huge and gassy and full. I’ve had cramps on and off for about a week now, some lower down and some higher up. And my boobs have felt a little achey - nothing unbearable though.
Im going to phone the doctors today, though I’m a serial worrier and this whole experience so far has been full of anxiety. Feel like I’ve known too many people who have experienced loss which is a bit unsettling. I think we may book an early scan privately for around 6/7 weeks to put my mind at ease.
Just trying to take things day by day. 😊

Welcome to the group and congratulations. Exciting times!!
My GP was lovely yesterday, and told me early MCs are not normally caused by external factors, so there isn't really much I can do wrong, which helped. I have also found some nice pregnancy related relaxations/meditations on the Calm app, which I'm finding so helpful when anxiety is taking over.
Another weird symptom to add to the list: I've been waking up around 3-4 am the last few days, and it takes me a while to fall asleep again. Not ideal when I'm already yawning all afternoon at work 😂 anyone else experiencing this?

Angelselevenx · 09/10/2024 09:55

@LillB yes! 😂 anywhere between 2:45 and 4am I'll wake up for 30 mins or so. I put a sleep hypnosis podcast on to help me drift back off. Last night I was asleep by 20:30 I was knackered 😴

Chaz693 · 09/10/2024 09:58

@LillB me too! Anytime between 2-5 I'm up and then struggle to go back to sleep. My son is up normally anywhere between 4-6 anyway! We end up just having a cuddle on the sofa. Lol! I feel like I'm prepared for the lack of sleep as haven't had a full night since my son was born 5 years ago! He's autistic so sleep is very up and down lol! X

Daniki · 09/10/2024 10:12

@LillB I'm the same, usually wake up around 3am and very hard to get back to sleep, maybe fall asleep again around 5/6 and then my son is generally up between 6/7 🤪

Bewildened · 09/10/2024 11:00

Same here…I’ve been waking at 5 and not being able to get back to sleep. The kids are up at 7 thankfully so I’ve just been lying in bed freaking out about stuff.

Nausea is really awful today at 5 weeks exactly. I think I’m going to try to go for a scan next fri even though it will be ridiculously early.

allthingspinkx · 09/10/2024 18:34

Hi both @RulledbyaTinyHuman & @Aidylrosie!

I'm 4wks + 2 days today and already can't wait to book a 6/7 week scan, I just can't decide whether to go at 6 weeks or 7 😂 I want to go as soon as possible but equally would love to hear a heartbeat and don't know if it would be possible at 6 weeks?

Symptoms wise I'm really struggling to get to sleep and am noticing the tiredness, I also have sore nipples and A LOT of bloating already 😅

Ruthcee · 09/10/2024 19:16

@LillB me too! I keep waking up at between 3-4am, I think because I need a wee but it’s not that bad so not sure why I’ve woken up and then taking hours to get back off. A few times I’ve slept until 6am and it’s been a proper treat 😂 I don’t even think I’m anxious about anything particularly or having any awful symptoms.

Hellzbellz89 · 09/10/2024 19:44

Hi everyone,
im 35 years old and just had a positive clear blue! I’m 4w+3 so still super super early and feel so anxious about it all!
can I ask if 8 weeks scan is a good idea? Like will I get enough information or should I wait for 10 weeks +?
Really looking forward to being part of this group xx
