I went to be sized in m&s recently and she put me in this and holy moly, didnโ€™t know bras could be this comfy! Not the sexiest but honestly so good. I bought two in black and white and have lived in them since. They do it in nursing too, which Iโ€™ll go back and be sized for at full term.

(I donโ€™t know why itโ€™s a weird green colour in the link.. I donโ€™t think it even comes in that colour)

M&S

Buy Flexifitโ„ข Non Wired Full Cup Bra A-E | Body by M&S | M&S

Slip on this full-coverage bra and enjoy a barely-there feel. No wiring or padding makes it extra comfy. There'll be no adjusting or fiddling because our Flexifitโ„ข technology keeps your bra in place all day. Straps can be adjusted to be worn crossback....

No good for me and my G's ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Ahh sorry @TripleESept24 ๐Ÿ’” Iโ€™m an established member of the itty bitty titty committee. Theyโ€™ve grown to a whopping 34C in pregnancy so far ๐Ÿ˜‚

malimoon · 17/05/2024 23:23

I'm a big lover of Molke bras, they're made of jersey and very comfy and they hoik you up pretty well for being non wired. And they will work for breastfeeding too

Decaffe · 17/05/2024 23:32

May I suggest posters try the Boob or Bust method rather than the dodgy out of date techniques advocated by some of our high street shops? Itโ€™ll be a revelation, promise! ๐Ÿ˜

Just googled this!!!!! Never heard of it or seen it before but intrigued!!!! It's a bit late to be doing now though but I will definitely have a go

SC126 · 18/05/2024 06:11

@Decaffe im going to try this later. I always have a nightmare with bras. Since having my eldest I haven't worn an underwired bra since as I hate them but really struggle to get comfy non wired bras!
I also feel @TripleESept24 struggle. F cup over here and dreading them getting bigger. I just got some bras from matalan that seem supportive but I wish I sized up to XL as the waistband is already digging in.

Xur · 18/05/2024 06:41

@tryingfortwo2 here we go then!! ๐Ÿ˜…
thanks cor the science โ˜บ๏ธ

yesterday evening after the gym I cooked my salt and pepper goujons which I shared with my other half and afterwards I ate ice cream straight from the tub. My dear partner was sat at the kitchen table looking at me walking around the house with my ice cream tub, gym crop top on and just knickers on and he went said โ€œyou are the most beautiful now when you are pregnant โ€œ in a very loving way. I thought that was so ๐Ÿฅฐ cute. Obviously many of us struggle with accepting our changing bodies and growing in size and bounce back, itโ€™s not so much about what he said, but HOW he said it. He said it in the most loving and cutest way possible, there was such warmth coming from that sentence as I was waddling around looking like a truck with my ice cream. Just makes me realise our other halves see our pregnancy in a whole different way to us.

Lillers · 18/05/2024 06:50

@Xur Thatโ€™s so lovely! My dh on the other handโ€ฆ I was standing naked in front of the full length mirror in the bedroom the other day, looking at my bump, and I said to DH: โ€œAre you one of those men that find women more attractive when theyโ€™re pregnant?โ€ He looked carefully at me for a while, taking everything in, and then said, โ€œI donโ€™t think so.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Luckily he is amazing in other ways!

Emmaev · 18/05/2024 09:18

Bras are the Bain of my life at the moment. Iโ€™m usually a 36b but my boobies have absolutely ballooned since becoming pregnant so no idea what size they are now. Iโ€™ve just been wearing soft bras from Primark but they donโ€™t offer much support. Underwire hurts so bad.

On the ovulation front itโ€™s definitely not an exact science, we dtd once on the 12th December and I got a positive at 10dpo but very faint. When I went for my 12 week scan they dated me 4 days ahead which was impossible

Has anyone been told theyโ€™ll have to have baby earlier than due date? After a chat with my consultant the other day Iโ€™ll feel very lucky to get to 37 weeks. She said due to the severity of my pre eclampsia previously and family history the likelihood of getting it again or gestational hypertension is very high. Obviously Iโ€™m hoping to reach full
term, but feels a bit up in the air at the moment

longingtobe23 · 18/05/2024 09:29

I got a few bras from H&M for lounging as theyโ€™re soft and nursing bras. Not much support but I canโ€™t do running for fast walking at them mo anyway doh!
otherwise M&S flexi are my go too as well .. always re purchasing them.

its new bedroom day and as such Iโ€™m up painting, cleaning, preppingโ€ฆ waiting for deliveries.
cleverly I planned a nail appointment weeks agoโ€ฆ so come midday Iโ€™m off to get them done by then hubby should be able to get the bed and mattress up together - right? ๐Ÿ˜

looking forward to bedtime as we slept only on the old mattress last night! I have saved the new season of Bridgerton as well ๐Ÿคฉ

malimoon · 18/05/2024 09:53

@Emmaev I have fibroids including one which is right down near my cervix so likely to need an ELCS, which I guess they usually schedule a week or so ahead of due date, but idk if that counts! But yeah I'm due on 27 but kind of expecting to deliver more like the 20. Hope you're not too worried by the prospect of an early arrival, it sounds like you're being well monitored which is the main thing

fleur89 · 18/05/2024 10:36

@Emmaev

I was told at my 20 week scan that I have elevated resistance in one of my uterine arteries. As such Iโ€™ve been marked down as higher risk of developing pre-eclampsia and fetal growth restriction and have been offered extra scans.

The nhs did not explain anything to me so I sought opinions from friends who are doctors and saw my private consultant at 23 weeks for a second opinion. Iโ€™m currently 24 weeks.

Iโ€™ve been told a lot of the time it doesnโ€™t come to anything and Iโ€™ll be able to carry to term but if at anytime the babyโ€™s growth starts slowing they may induce me early. Iโ€™ve been told Iโ€™ll be induced in week 39 regardless, they wonโ€™t let me go to 40 weeks. NHS and private both told me this.

Apparently medical literature supports inducing at 39 weeks for all births but the nhs canโ€™t afford to implement this for everyone as it would lead to too many inductions. In many countries this is rather standard, including in HK where I had my first born via induction.

TripleESept24 · 18/05/2024 10:45

On the ovulation chat, I had a period 12th December which lasted 3/4 days. I used Flo and we then had sex around my partner's birthday 17th/18th/19th and then all over Christmas from 22nd. They bought my date forward to the 13th September which means I'd of had to have conceived before the period date, right?

Emmaev · 18/05/2024 10:50

@malimoon I am a little anxious only due to having our daughter at 33+6 but I am well monitored and on aspirin this time so Iโ€™m hoping it makes a difference. I just find it very hard to imagine going past 37 weeks. The consultant basically said we will just monitor after every growth scan and midwife appointment. So who knows maybe I will go full term and have no problems.

@fleur89 my consultant pretty much said this, if growth is slow they may consider inducing me. Just hoping it doesnโ€™t come to that. Iโ€™m 24+5 and just feels forever away to a safe point

HRP1990 · 18/05/2024 11:56

@longingtobe23 I binged Bridgeton in one day ๐Ÿ˜‚ itโ€™s SO good you are in for a treat! Annoyingly they only released 4 episodes and now Iโ€™m kicking myself I have to wait 2 weeks to see what happens๐Ÿฅน

Lillers · 18/05/2024 12:07

At work yesterday, a group of us were chatting and they asked me if I had a name for the baby. I said yes but we wonโ€™t tell people what it is until sheโ€™s safely here. One of my colleagues, who I spoke to quite a lot when we were TTC as she was too (but hasnโ€™t yet), said, โ€œIโ€™ve always dreamed of having a little girl calledโ€ and the name weโ€™ve chosen. Itโ€™s just as well nobody was looking at me then because it would have been obvious from my face that thatโ€™s the name.

The name is 100% staying - weโ€™ve wanted a girl with that name for years and have been calling her it. It is her name. But Iโ€™m wondering if I should tell my colleague privately that the name she said is the one weโ€™ve chosen.

In favour of telling: it feels respectful; Iโ€™d worry that if I didnโ€™t say anything now then when sheโ€™s born she might have forgotten that I said we already chose the name and think I โ€˜stoleโ€™ it from her; she would have plenty of time to get used to it.

Against telling: sheโ€™s leaving in July and so might not even hear about the name when sheโ€™s born in September (although we do have a WhatsApp group that we message in related to a shared interest which still includes other colleagues whoโ€™ve left); she is a complete gossip and might tell everyone else, which I really donโ€™t want.

My gut feeling is not to say anything but I donโ€™t know if that makes it worse for her in the long run.

Cinai · 18/05/2024 12:21

@Lillers I wouldnโ€™t tell her. Keep the name for yourself as you had planned initially. Sounds like you wonโ€™t have much contact with her anymore after July anyway and it wonโ€™t matter if her future baby has the same name, itโ€™s not like youโ€™re family or close friends. I donโ€™t think sheโ€™d feel upset if a colleaguesโ€™ baby has the same name as her baby (and she might not even have a girl).

HRP1990 · 18/05/2024 12:25

@Lillers Iโ€™d say it depends on the level of your friendship. If sheโ€™s leaving in July and the chances are you wonโ€™t end up seeing her afterwards, I wouldnโ€™t say anything.

I also donโ€™t think itโ€™s fair for anyone to really claim names, especially when youโ€™re not even pregnant (despite TTC.) But thatโ€™s just my two cents!

I had this with a friend when I was pregnant with my daughter. I told her the name we had chosen and she didnโ€™t speak to me for a few months because โ€œit was her nameโ€ even though she wasnโ€™t pregnant, nor trying. It was a name weโ€™ve had for years and used in reference to a baby, when weโ€™d have one. So chances are sheโ€™d have heard it from me at some point. People get really funny about names - itโ€™s a tough one!

Those who are further along or have one alreadyโ€ฆwhat do baby kicks feel like? For the past week, Iโ€™ve been getting something that feels like muscle twitches in my belly. For about 5 - 10 minutes at a time, often in the evening. Itโ€™s usually around the waistline. Is this the baby? 22 weeks today

That's exactly what it felt and feels like still for me - and getting stronger! ^^ <3

rupertbear91 · 18/05/2024 14:40

@Lillers I genuinely wouldn't bother saying anything it sounds like you won't have much to do with her after summer anyway and it's not worth the risk of them spreading your private name!

My partner is away this weekend picking up baby stuff from his brothers 5 hours away for us. I didn't realise how much I rely on him to curb my pregnancy venting and anger moods. Just had to sit through 2 1/2 hour family meal and really wanted to tell every person to shut up or worse at most points ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ I'm not normally an angry person but this last week I'm fuming think I need locking away for everyone's sake ๐Ÿ˜‚

Lillers · 18/05/2024 14:47

Thanks guys! Yep I wonโ€™t say anything, that was my gut feeling so happy to hear others agree!

I just went for a lovely swim. I have decided to cancel my gym membership but Iโ€™ve still got it until the beginning of July. My gym is so nice but Iโ€™m just not using it enough to make it worth it. Until the membership expires though Iโ€™ll make more effort to use the pool! DH will still be a member so can get me a guest pass every now and then.

RachSmile · 18/05/2024 15:54

Has anyone else been told they have low blood pressure? Iโ€™ve been getting quite dizzy and nearly fainted a few times, and when I told the midwife and got checked she told me my blood pressure has been falling from the previous โ€˜healthyโ€™ readings to now being on the line between healthy and not, but she didnโ€™t seem too worried as nothing came back from my bloodworks and Iโ€™m already on iron tablets. Trying not to stress about it but hard to not get in your head about anything medical these days! ๐Ÿ˜‚

MrsM89 · 18/05/2024 15:56

Does anyone live near a primark that have seen this in stock?
