Oh wow I just felt him with my hand! I felt a movement and put my hand on it then I got two jabs?! Still slight but definitely noticeable! Itโ€™s made my day!

How strange @Cinai?! If youโ€™re only just feeling movement Iโ€™d be inclined to think itโ€™s anterior!

Cinai · 17/05/2024 16:42

@Decaffe oh amazing! Hope I can feel mine soon, I think then Iโ€™ll finally be convinced that it is him and not just food making its way down my stomach ๐Ÿ˜„

TripleESept24 · 17/05/2024 17:56

@RosiePH @Lillers also a size 10-12 here but 34G bust!!! Lolllll

I cannot wear wired bras AT ALL have had to get industrial non wired ones! Haha! Best one I've got is a next full support non wired bra really holds them up/feels like full support with no wiring digging in!!

I'm dreading when the milk arrives!!

rupertbear91 · 17/05/2024 18:24

I'm having a bra nightmare too. I'm normally a 34b/c my boobs are only a bit bigger but round my ribs seems to have ballooned. I bought an XL sports bra and a 38c last month and now they are cutting in under my boobs and marking me. I don't know how it's possible to expand so much ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ but it's really uncomfy, might have to go double XL next!

RosiePH · 17/05/2024 18:42

@Lillers @HRP1990 @TripleESept24 thank you for the ideas! Iโ€™ve got a few summer dresses with floaty waistlines so now the weather is warmer I shall give those a try! Then by third trimester I might have more luck with the maternity wear (and a bump to balance out the matronly boobs ๐Ÿ˜‚)!

Beyond Nine have some lovely pieces. I love their jumpsuits and have been debating treating myself too one!

TripleESept24 · 17/05/2024 19:41

Just got some nice summer bits off shein! All medium and happy with them all/will all fit yet for months!

Thanks @longingtobe23 @Lillers . I ended up leaving early from work, going straight to the shop and buying salt and pepper chicken goujons that I had been dreaming about for a week now, came home, randomly started to weed between the rocks in front of my house and decided to go to the gym. I ended up doing a full routine, but I feel good about it and I feel Iโ€™ve earned my chicken goujons now and some ice cream! ๐Ÿ˜

@SpicyMoth cute pictures! Iโ€™m going to book my 4d for about 27 weeks I think.

@Cinai yeah at first it feels just like little flickers, like bubbles, or like gas moving in intestines. Like imagine if someone pulled a guitar string, something similar. I think you are getting kicks there but my bet would be anterior placenta, cos I got posterior and my first sensations began at 15 weeks already.

@TripleESept24 I also ordered summer dresses from shein in M. They first came beginning of April and then they were still a bit large, but now they sit well on me.

WinsandSam · 17/05/2024 20:06

Like others. Maternity clothes are not for me! I'm 5'3" and usually a 12. Ive gained a big bump but nothing elsewhere.I've been buying elasticated skirts and culottes in a size 16 and they have plenty of space to see me though. I've said before that Asda is great for these bits.

Bra wise I'm in sports bras/non wire bras. Primark and Tesco have some nice ones! Will get some nursing ones down the line.

I refuse to fork out ยฃ10000 for something I'll wear for a few months

Iโ€™m due September 8th 2024.
Bit of an awkward one.
Came off the implant end of November 2023 so I was off it about 2 weeks and got my first period December 3rd 2023. It was light and lasted 3 days. I had sex with ex partner December 7th, 8th, 9th, 13th and had a ons on the 16th. I then had sex with ex partner again on the 23rd and 24th. On the 28th I found out I was pregnant. I had an ultrasound on January 18th that put me at being due September 11th but at my next scan the midwife gave me the due date of September 8th. Any idea who could be the dad? Iโ€™ve ordered a dna test to do once baby arrives.

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 17/05/2024 20:35

@LadyM72 I just checked a conception date calculator online...won't really answer your question with the results because it could be either men by the dates

@LadyM72 Iโ€™m also due 11th September and only had sex the once on 26th Dec in that week.. found out I was pregnant early Jan - Not sure if thatโ€™s helpful or not!?

LadyM72 · 17/05/2024 20:48

@HRP1990 is it strange how on my private first scan they gave me 11th as my due date but then at my 11 week hospital scan she said shes giving me the due date as the 8th? Are they really that acurate? God i know its so silly i should have never had the one night stand i realise its my fault im praying its my ex partners so afraid to see the dna result. Thinking of getting a loan to pay for a prenatal dna test

LadyM72 · 17/05/2024 20:50

I was 6 weeks and 1 day at my private scan when they gave me the due date of the 11th not sure why theyd changed it ? Would the 28th of been to early to find out if id got pregnant on the 23/24?

HRP1990 · 17/05/2024 20:55

@LadyM72 Itโ€™s usually 2 weeks after conception that youโ€™d either get a positive on a pregnancy test, or start your period. But it really does depend on your cycle. However as you had just come off the implant, your cycle might not have had time to regulate.. Iโ€™d say a DNA test is probably worth it to be sure.

SC126 · 17/05/2024 20:57

@LadyM72 my due date at scan is 9th sept and I would have conceived between 19-22nd dec. My due date from dates before scan was also 11th sept. Before your scan the due date calculated can be dependent on factors such as cycle length. However once scan is taken place its calculated from babys size and things like when implantation occurred can change the date.

Xur · 17/05/2024 21:07

@LadyM72 that literally depends on the length of your cycle, but so think itโ€™s really hard to guess because you had sex often I was given due date on 9th of Sept at first, which was later moved to 7th of Sept and has been stood at that now. I had sex on the 12th, 13th, 14th of Dec, as well as 17th and 24th, 26th, 27th and on 31sr. I found out I was pregnant on the first of Jan and test showed me pregnant 2-3 weeks then. My cycle length is 25-26 days. They change the due dates based on the size of the baby at a certain period of time. Mine was measuring ahead at the 12W so they moved it.

WinsandSam · 17/05/2024 21:09

@TripleESept24 I'm not large at all 34 C so maybe that's why I like them.

@LadyM72 that sounds really stressful for you! I don't think you'll truly know until you do a dna test

Xur · 17/05/2024 21:10

Ahhh, I marked I ovulated on the 16th of dec based on the discharge. So I probably conceived either on 16th with leftover semen from 14th (unlikely I think) or on 17th.

rupertbear91 · 17/05/2024 21:40

@LadyM72 they say the absolute soonest you can get a positive test is 8 days after you conceive but that is likely to be a very faint line at that stage. So it could have happened anywhere from the 7th-20th for you.

Lillers · 17/05/2024 21:42

@LadyM72 Totally normal for the dates to change at different scans - I was given a due date of 26th Sept by LMP, 22nd by first private scan and 25th by NHS 12 week scan.

I honestly donโ€™t think youโ€™ll be able to work it out based on dates because the whole science of due dates etc is such guess work anyway. I hope the DNA test gives you the result youโ€™re hoping for. Until then, try really hard not to worry and just focus on getting ready for your baby.

tryingfortwo2 · 17/05/2024 22:05

@LadyM72 your due date doesnโ€™t really help here - itโ€™s based on implantation, babyโ€™s early growth rate etc. And you can rule out the sex on the 23rd and 24th as they wouldnโ€™t have given you a positive by the 28th. Sadly, other than that I think youโ€™ll just have to wait and see - sorry youโ€™re going through this, it canโ€™t be easy โ™ฅ๏ธ

@Xur itโ€™s more likely your conceived from the 14th if your ovulation date is right - the best time to have sex when trying are days 1 and 2 before ovulation, that โ€œleftover spermโ€ is the sperm you need. It takes sperm an average of 12 hours to get to where they need to be, and the most successful fertilisations happen when the sperm is waiting for the egg to be released. Itโ€™s very rare for sex the day after ovulation to result in pregnancy because the egg has matured too much by the time the sperm reach it (a few studies actually claim it to be entirely impossible). Some Friday night science for you ๐Ÿ˜‚
