Hi all,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due Nov. I've found Mumsnet so helpful during conception so wanted to start a thread on pregnancy if anyone wanted to join. I'm feeling VERY tired, I've had cold feet (literally) and jelly legs today. I had very heavy implantation bleeding last time (which ended in loss about 4 weeks later) and none of that so far so hoping that's a positive sign. Have the strangest feeling already that it's a boy. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

Hello can I join? I think I’m due early November, not entirely sure due to irregular cycles. Had to go for an early scan this week due to pain as doctor was concerned I might have an ectopic. Gestation sac and yolk sac were visible but no baby, scanning again in 2 weeks to see if baby is there. I’ve had some bleeding when I wipe since yesterday, it was red the first time but since then has just been brown so I’m really hoping it’s just implantation bleeding!

@1yearplan I'd love to join one/start one too!

Amazing! I've never set up a Facebook page, but can do a WhatsApp group!

piechipsgravy · 10/03/2024 13:28

@1yearplan I'd love to join too!

Sparksi · 10/03/2024 14:12

I’d also love to join x

Got my BFP today! This will be my second baby. Feels more "business as usual" compared to my first one which was very romanticized!

Chaz693 · 10/03/2024 14:44

Tentatively joining, got a faint line on Wednesday that I didn't believe and although my lines have been getting darker I wasn't convinced till I finally got it on a digital. This will be my second child as already have a 4 year old son. I had an early mc in January of this year. And have previously had 2 before having my DS. So it's an anxious time for me. I'm around 4 weeks and unsure if I'm just becoming unwell or if it's related to the pregnancy. I've had a headache for the past 2 days and struggle to find food I actually want to eat. I'm also exhausted. Like I could literally just spend my day in bed sleeping. I know all are normal of pregnancy but it just feels too early! X

Happy Mothers’ Day, everyone! I’m planning to call my mum later today and tell her—I was going to wait until I was a bit more sure, but I can’t wait!

I’m still not sure if I’ve got pregnancy symptoms or not—I was sure on Friday, had constipation, was exhausted (fell asleep at my desk twice—thank god I was in an office on my own!), and feeling sick. But then I started with diarrhoea on Saturday and it’s been going since. Do you think I should be worried? The internet (never wrong) says it’s probably a tummy bug and not dangerous as long as you stay hydrated.

Morning ladies - happy Mother's Day to you!
Welcome to the newest ladies. Here's to a happy healthy pregnancy for all of us!
Does anyone know if there's a Mumsnet facebook page or WhatsApp group for November due dates yet? I had one with my last pregnancy and it was a great help.

Yes love this idea!! I had a Facebook group for my Nov 2021 baby and it's still active and full of chat now! Great idea, happy to help too!

Kinsters · 10/03/2024 14:53

I had to tell my mum as I started telling her about how I was the only one at an exercise class and the teacher was so sweet because she had prepared a special class for me as she knew I was....and then I stopped because I realised I hadn't told my mum and I couldn't think of a lie lol.

I feel less intensely sick than I did last week it's just like low level constant nausea. Until I try and take my aspirin, that's almost guaranteed to make me hurl. I'm going to have to try something else to get it down like yogurt. I wasn't very good at taking it with my last pregnancy and I'm worried that contributed to my late miscarriage so I really want to take it more regularly this time.

omghavingababy · 10/03/2024 17:32

I think it's a fab idea but keep it just to this mumsnet thread and a private invite only page . Happy to help out in any way shape or form

My 2020 due date Facebook page is still going strong , we even do secret Santa's and birthday raffle swaps! It's so sweet and a great life line

WhatsApp groups can also be set up in addition to the Facebook page. I'm not a part of my due dates WhatsApp as couldn't keep up and once the babies are here the 100 photos a day 🤣 but at least with fb you can float in/out and comment/upload and keep up!

Xxx

strawberrycake12 · 10/03/2024 17:38

I'm taking pregnacare originals (haven't got the max / plus ones) do you think that's enough? I eat a really healthy balanced diet. It's a wait to ask my dr so I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice ☺️

Farfarfarfarfaraway · 10/03/2024 18:33

I’d love to join a WhatsApp or private Facebook group too

omghavingababy · 10/03/2024 18:37

I'm happy to set up a private fb page but need help with admin duties or whatever

Mumtobeno2 · 10/03/2024 18:43

@strawberrycake12 I'm not an expert at all but if you have a healthy and varied diet with a mix of fruit and veg then I'd think the original would be fine. Does it say anything in the literature? I have the max but I was taking omega supplements prior to conception and my general baseline for vitamins wasn't great (vit D and iron were low) so trying to give myself all the help I can.

Is there anyone that's conceived and is worried about their physical health and mobility this time around? It's been 4 years since my first and I've put on quite a lot of weight, and my core desperately needs strengthening. I was already making changes pre conception since last autumn but has been slow progress and now I'm pregnant I'm hoping to keep to a healthy and pregnant supportive exercise plan and healthy eating. I'm very worried about gestational diabetes as we have diabetes in the family and coupled with other risk factors.

Hoping there might be some recommendations for pregnancy safe exercises and healthy eating recommendations on YouTube or Instagram to follow that might help me on my way?

I already walk 10000 steps a day so will keep that up and will start some swimming I think.

Chaz693 · 10/03/2024 19:23

Would love to be added to the Facebook group if started. I'm happy to help out with admin duties. As I have time around my little one's school and therapies. X

Sparksi · 10/03/2024 19:25

Has anyone made one yet?

Sparksi · 10/03/2024 19:25

I’d prefer WhatsApp if anyone knows how to do that

Link to a private fb group I've set up - I've made it super private so only people of this thread can join + also it won't show to any Facebook friends that you've joined it!

Please add your due date on there on the poll I've set up

Also I'm about to start work shortly (night shifts!!) so might be quiet on there until I can
