Hi guys! New here 👋🏼

yesterday (14DPO) started bleeding, I done a clear blue test yesterday after a few dye tests came back with faint lines, clear blue said 1-2 weeks

14DPO started bleeding, red blood
15DPO still bleeding but it’s gone brown now ?

can anyone shed some light if this is normal? I googled and it said it’s normal to have some spotting at 4 weeks but I can’t tell if it’s spotting or not…

I did have a MC in June at 6 weeks 4 days also & I was in so much pain & this time round I have no pain? So I’m worrying 😔

my last period was on the 11th November and was supposed to start on 11th December

thank you 🤞🏻 xx

Spotting/bleeding is common but not normal. It's really hard to say whether or not everything is ok though. I've bled in five pregnancies and three of them ended in miscarriages but for two of them everything was fine. I would speak to your dr tomorrow. Good luck x

Silverfoxlady · 17/12/2023 15:55

Yes - It looks like implantation bleeding. I had this with all of my children.

I would only worry if it get heavier and fills a pad, turning into a ’normal’ period.

Outliers · 17/12/2023 15:57

Could be bleeding due to a sensitive /irritated cervix.

I've experience similar in current and previous pregnancy. Just monitor how how to goes over the next couple weeks. If you're still positive and experience symptoms at 6weeks that will be sign you're pregnant.

After 6week you can also be checked at an EPU

Thank you ❤️ I had a MC in June aswell 😔 but I had severe pain when I bled & no pain with this one 👀

Thank you silver fox ❤️

That is more bleeding than I had, but it hasn’t turned period-red yet.

Maybe it is a good idea to double check with doctors / NHS 111 (if in UK) just in case. Better than worrying.

Jodss28 · 17/12/2023 17:59

The first photos on the original post are the red bits 👀 now brown 😔, I called 111 and I have a appointment at kings on Tuesday, feels like forever I can’t stop worrying 😔 x

I haven’t had any pain really either like I would do with my period, is that a good sign?

Have you had vigorous sex recently by any chance

Jodss28 · 17/12/2023 18:22

No outliers 😔 last time I had sex was when I conceived and that was December 2nd

It's happened to me three times OP - twice it was a miscarriage and once it wasn't and he is now 12 lol. There was less bleeding and pain (but still some) with the one that wasn't. The other two progressed to normal periods. The lines on the test were also fainter in the ones that didn't progress I seem to remember but that may be down to the tests.

I think all were around when I would be the equivalent of 6 weeks. I really hope that it works out for you. Sending a hand hold. I had an early scan which confirmed the successful one. With another one it (the bleeding and pain) progressed quickly and I very quickly tested negative so I just knew. The other, it was a weekend so no scanning available but they tested my HCG levels and confirmed they were too low for 6 weeks and I either had my dates wrong (I didn't), or it wasn't progressing xxx

Thank you! Have you seen my photos attatched on comments to?

i have no pain and with my MC I has loads of pain so I’m feeling confused 😞

Spongeb0b · 17/12/2023 20:26

Yes I've seen them. If it helps my miscarriages were other way around so started brown and ended up red. I know brown indicates old blood. So it could just be your uterus shedding old tissue due to implantation? Keeping everyone crossed for you OP, I know how hard it can be to feel stuck in limbo not knowing xx

Jodss28 · 17/12/2023 20:30

Aw that’s so strange! Mine was red and then brown and then red and brown when I had mine in June 😔 thank you hun I really hope this my time 🤞🏻 xx

So this is what my early loss looked like. Started like a slow period with spotting, and then heavier flow like the pads. No pain at all. Hope you're ok. X

TheShellBeach · 17/12/2023 20:40

Hi OP. This is much earlier than your previous miscarriage so any pain would be less.

It looks like more blood than I'd expect for implantation but it's always possible that everything will be all right.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and I really hope you get good news.

Jodss28 · 17/12/2023 20:41

thank you arose ❤️
would you call my photos spotting then?

OP posts:
Arosebyanyname · 17/12/2023 20:43

No I wouldn't - for me spotting is nothing on a pad but there when you wipe

Jodss28 · 17/12/2023 20:43

Thank you theshell ❤️
yeah haven’t had any pain tbh, when I had my MC at 6 weeks it was SEVERELY painful like a contraction - so I find it weird I have no pain with this bit & if it was my period I’d be in pain too 👀 as my periods are normally very painful 😞 I’m really confused

OP posts:
Jodss28 · 17/12/2023 20:43

Oh god 😔 I really hope everything is okay!

OP posts:
rainbow616 · 17/12/2023 20:45

I bled really heavily in my last pregnancy and I had a subchorionic hematoma and also had issues with the placenta but everything was fine and she's 11 months now, so not all bleeding means a miscarriage, I really hope everything is ok for you xx

Arosebyanyname · 17/12/2023 20:47

Fingers and toes crossed for you. I also had a bleed at about five weeks which I thought was the start of another miscarriage (filled a tampon in 30 mins) but that was the same as the PP and a subchorionic hematoma. But the key difference between that and my actual miscarriage was that I kept bleeding with the miscarriage and that was one flood of blood and then stopped.

TheShellBeach · 17/12/2023 21:32

OP that certainly isn't spotting but it does look like the amount you might see with a sub-chorionic haematoma.

But all is not lost. Many women have these and their pregnancies are fine.

It's just a waiting game. I'm sorry you've got this worry.

Jodss28 · 17/12/2023 21:38

What is that? Xx
