Hello ladies!! I feel like I've forgotten someone but not sure who?!

@SnookyPook it is super hard, isn’t it? I am just managing to live from one scan to the other and every single time I am persuaded it will be my last one. I think there is absolutely nothing we can do not to stress or worry.
with my first mmc my symptoms were sooo strong from week 5 and my HCG level was over the roof. I was sick 24/7 and had tried number of medications which did not help at all! I was persuaded I am pregnant with multiples, but no, was only one and did not end well… so having loads or strong symptoms does not guarantee a good outcome!

Hi everyone
I’ve had a really rough couple of days. My spotting has continued although I don’t think it’s got any worse. Spoke to my GP yesterday and he has prescribed me progesterone to take. Said if the bleeding continues to then call back next week. EPAU have agreed to see me tomorrow to scan to see if everything is okay which is really helpful so hopefully all goes well although I can’t help but feel like it’s going to be bad news

Oh no @tlw14 - so sorry to hear that. But if it is just spotting then every chance all is still well and taking progesterone is much the best thing to be doing. Good luck with the scan tomorrow x

And @Ingridika good luck to you too, something similar happened to my friend and then it turned out she was absolutely fine and having twins. They think her spotting and cramps might have been a third sac collapsing! The twins are 2.5 now…

Just wanted to update, as so many people are going through similar.
the scan was fine, the baby is still there with his heart beating! I cried as I was sure it would be another miscarriage… I am 10+1 and this is the furthest I have been so far.

@Ingridika so glad your scan went well.
did they say what might be causing the spotting?

@tlw14 nothing in particular. She mentioned it can be still implantation bleeding. She had 0 concerns.

@Ingridika thats really good! How often would you say you’ve been spotting? Sorry just looking for some reassurance before tomorrow x

I spotted at 8 weeks for a day and now again at 9+6 for around a day. in addition i had back ache and tummy ache for around 3 full days.

Hi all, reading through messages, glad scans have gone well, and hope those soon do too!

Dating scan today, measured 12+4, all looking good! Phew!! Looks like a proper baby now!

I’m going to really try to get through to the 16 week appointment without any extra private scans and hold out for hearing the heartbeat with the Doppler at the appointment. But we’ll see!

My scan is at 9:20. I feel so so nervous which is making me feel even more sick than usual. It’s horrible thinking in a couple of hours I will know if I still have a little baby or not

Everything is fine, baby was happy moving away. I have a small area of bruising just below the pregnancy sac which is causing the bleed but they said this should resolve itself. Finally feel more relaxed!!!

Morning everyone and welcome new girls! Sorry I've been quiet... been absolutely wiped out! Finally got my new sleeping tablets though and feeling somewhat human today!!

Glad to hear everything is going well for everyone 😊 this first trimester seems to be absolutely whizzing by now, which is surprising as I thought it would really drag!!

Oh hi @Kewchoc! Glad you’re finally getting some sleep, you must feel like a new woman! Have you had your booking appointment now? Definitely NOT whizzing by here! 🤢 I’ve started to get a bit down about feeling so rubbish all the time. DH dragged me out for a walk and a bit of shopping yesterday which helped. I bought myself some new boots ☺️.

We’ve tentatively started talking like we’re actually going to have a baby this time in July, so looking forward to my next scan on Monday to check all is still well. I nearly ordered some new maternity clothes yesterday but chickened out at the last minute… will probs wait until after my 12 week scan which is booked for 2nd Jan.

@Amberellaella Yeah I really do! It got to a point earlier in the week where I was awake until around 4 then had broken sleep until 6.30/7 then the same thing the next night. I do struggle with sleep anyway but this pregnancy has taken it to a whole new level!! Sorry to hear you're feeling so rubbish, could you increase the dose of the medication you're taking? A bit of shopping always helps though what sort of boots did you get? 😊

Yes I had my booking appointment on Monday and have got the date for my 12 week scan which is 4th Jan, but I am going for another early scan tomorrow too. I know what you mean about talking as though this could actually end in a baby, we've been doing the same and I've told ds that he has to be gentle on mummy's tummy because there's a baby in there (not that he's the slightest bit interested, or being the slightest bit gentle when he jumps on me 🤣)

I’m really struggling. The nausea is just horrendous. I’m trying my best to eat and drink but I know I’m not managing enough. Going to speak to my doctor Monday. I’m only going for a wee twice a day so I know I’m not drinking enough.

although I’m so so grateful to be feeling so sick as it does ease the worrying. The spotting I had has also calmed down so that’s great!

13 days to go till my 12 week scan. I agree with you both and we are deffo starting to talk now like this might really be happening. Even looking at double buggy’s!!

Ooh, @tlw14 that doesn’t sound good. Trust me - you do not want to end up in hospital on a drip! Get to the docs and get some drugs. And until then I find very cold or very hot things more palatable to drink, usually squash or fruit tea because I can’t stand the taste of plain water. Peppermint also better than ginger for me, and if all else fails sucking on ice lollies.

@Kewchoc my tablets do take the edge off of the nausea and sickness, which I’m greatful for, but they don’t do anything for the exhaustion/wierd sleep/strange tastes/generally-feeling-like-your-body-is-not-your own and it’s all that that’s getting me down. …and black biker ankle boots - I luffs them ☺️

Hope everyone has a good weekend and manages to resist buying baby stuff at least until the January sales 😂
