Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

Hello lovely ladies.
I am glad I am not the only anxious one. I am 4 weeks 6 days today.
Apart from tender nipples and fatigue I don't have any symptoms.
I got my 2-3 weeks on a clearblue digital last Sunday so was hoping to get 3+ this week but no. When did everyone else get their 3+?
My tests have gotten darker so I am trying not to worry too much. But the difference in the premom tests doesn't seems as big as it was before anymore.
Booked a private scan for almost 8 weeks and really hope it will show a beating heart.

Macccc · 19/11/2023 13:15

@missmoosh
I’d definitely say that’s good line progression for this stage! Aw really, it’s funny how it works out sometimes!

@FigandHoney
i think you’re about a week ahead of me, I literally have no symptoms at all, not even sore boobs! The anxiety is something else isn’t it😩 I think the clear blue weeks are notorious for being inaccurate, not sure why I’m doing it to be honest just adds to the stress! Hopefully you’ll get your 3+ soon! Good luck for your scan!

Laylamoxx · 19/11/2023 13:36

I got the clear blue 3+ at 5+3. I was worrying so much about not getting it but then I actually learnt that some women never get the 3+ on the digital and everything is still good!

missmoosh · 19/11/2023 13:39

@Macccc yeah it really is strange, weirdly common apparently as well! Must be a release of stress! Thanks really hoping they keep progressing well!

@FigandHoney I am also very anxious! So defo not alone! Haven't tried a clearblue weeks one yet, too scared to! I'm just telling myself right now I'm pregnant and to enjoy that feeling.

Wtafishappening · 19/11/2023 13:54

I too can't stop testing- think due to being 41 am worried a bit more (bought a 15 pack from amazon for 3.99 so don't feel too wasteful). Happy with line progression think am 5+1 today but tbh I can't remember date of period last month so it's a guess.

MrsHousePlant · 19/11/2023 14:05

I chose not to keep testing with clear blue. I got 1-2 the day I got my BFP and had one more digital so took it a week later for 2-3. I’m not letting myself buy another for 3+ as I’m worrying about everything enough as it is!

wannabe123 · 19/11/2023 17:20

To those worrying about lack of symptoms I was exactly the same. I think I'm about 7 weeks now. A week ago I was so scared because I had no symptoms but I've had non stop nausea since Thursday and it's miserable but I'm trying to be grateful for the reassurance.

I've got my first midwives appointment a week on Wednesday and then hoping I'll get my scan date after that. My first pregnancy was during COVID so booking appointment was over the phone. Not sure how different it will be in person.

CB2805 · 19/11/2023 19:04

Hi ladies hope you’re all well:)
I actually need some kind of reassurance as I’m getting really worried here.
Did any of you experienced period type cramps?
im 5+2 today and they’re killing me accompanied with some back ache.

I try to think positive but can’t help to believe that could be mc!

Beth191 · 19/11/2023 19:22

@CB2805 I have these too! I'm 5+4, I had the cramps from 4 weeks until a couple of days ago and since yesterday have had awful backache. I remember having the exact same thing with my first too, unless you see blood it should hopefully be just your hormones loosening up all your ligaments and your uterus starting to change for growing a baby ❤️

bringmearainbow · 19/11/2023 19:50

@CB2805 I've had terrible back ache in a fair few of my pregnancies cramps are very normal too

@wannabe123 I'm 7 weeks today and my symptoms really kicked in at the beginning of the week too. They've been up and down today I actually thought oh I don't feel that sick 15 mins later I ate my words 😂

@Beth191 @bringmearainbow thank you ladies🫶🏻 I really hope everything is alright🤞🤞

KM8 · 19/11/2023 20:01

@CB2805 this has been me too! I'm 6 weeks and last week the cramping and backache felt like period pain. I didn't have any spotting though and ended up taking a couple of paracetamol to ease it. It's just our bodies stretching and muscles relaxing I'd read 🥰

CB2805 · 19/11/2023 20:03

@KM8 thanks for the reassurance I really hope everything is alright🫶🏻 did you had your first scan? xx

KM8 · 19/11/2023 20:04

@CB2805 I haven't got an appointment yet for a scan booked....and still toying with the idea of whether to book an early scan or to just wait it out? 🙈
I have my booking appt for 1st Dec. What about you?

Oatmilktea · 19/11/2023 20:16

@CB2805 ive had this too! I should be around 4+3. Last night and today I’ve had cramps that are even more painful than period pains. Some I would even describe as excruciating. Trying my best not to worry and holding out for my 8 week scan. Easier said than done though!

Forest1234 · 19/11/2023 21:19

@CB2805 absolutely with the cramps. Eased off now nearly 8 weeks to be replaced with a less consistent but sharper stabbing pain. Equally anxiety provoking. All just part of the bedding in and stretching out process I guess.

CB2805 · 19/11/2023 21:56

@KM8 as it’s an IVF pregnancy I already had an early scan (we just could see 2 little black dots🤭) and going for another one tomorrow as I’m worried with those cramps.
I guess it’s pointless as it’s still so early but…

CB2805 · 19/11/2023 22:01

@Oatmilktea I’m going to the loo with fear when whipping! Cramps are so severe that I honestly think AF will arrive any minute!
crazy roller coaster!
have you booked your scan?

CB2805 · 19/11/2023 22:04

@Forest1234 oh dear🤦🏻‍♀️I honestly believe this anxiety won’t end during pregnancy no matter what😅

Moudy · 19/11/2023 22:57

Hi everyone,
I'm new to mumsnet, but remember this forum being my saviour when I had my first 10 years ago.
My DD is 17th July and like many of you we have decided to keep the announcement till 12 weeks. I'll be 40 in a couple of months and have 3 kids.
I've never been so nervous about a pregnancy like I am with this one, I think it's a mixture of my age, what people will say and wanting it so bad.
Anyways, I'm really looking forward to going on this new journey with you all x

Oatmilktea · 20/11/2023 12:53

Can I ask when people started to feel sick? I feel very nauseous after eating and drinking hot drinks but I’m only 4+4 so I’m wondering if it’s too soon for it to be classed as morning sickness?

bringmearainbow · 20/11/2023 12:56

@Oatmilktea mine didn't start until 6 weeks but some people are more sensitive to hcg so it can start earlier. You might find that early the nausea dips in and out and doesn't get going properly for a couple of weeks but you can def feel it that early

OP posts:
missmoosh · 20/11/2023 13:59

@Oatmilktea im a couple days behind you. I'm only getting very brief waves of nausea, I get it anyway as PMS. So I would say if its more sustained then it's likely morning sickness?
Only thing I have noticed so far is I keep making silly mistakes (think pouring cold water into hot drink and boiling water into my water glass)
