Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

@Busheytree congratulations.
I have no idea about netball, the way some of my friends talk I just assumed it was a contact sport!? 😆 I have been playing football up until last week but stopping matches now. Entirely personal but I felt it too out of my control compared to say the gym… that being said my toddler jumps on me far harder than any contact I’ve had so far! Keeping active is good so hopefully you can keep going in some capacity for some time yet 😊
I used ‘window to the womb’ last time who were great, also around £75. Hoping to get one in ahead of Christmas too

Griffles · 15/11/2023 14:44

@Busheytree hi from a fellow netballer
👋 I'm still playing, our matches have finished until Christmas but I'm still playing regularly at training. I think it all depends on how you're feeling, how physical your matches/opposition are and the ground conditions (how slippy it is it). Also worth checking if there is any governance/insurance within the league you're playing for? I.e. England Netball have guidance for insured players but recreational/social leagues might be different x

MixedCouple · 15/11/2023 14:51

I attached my tests to the last mesaage but didn't go through.

MrsHousePlant · 15/11/2023 16:06

@MixedCouple your tests are progressing nicely!
I’ve been okay, some nausea, fatigue and other symptoms here and there. This morning I didn’t feel like I had any symptoms but they’ve all come back through the day. Hard to know what to expect as this is my first! Finding the twelve week scan wait very slow 😂 I thought the TWW to test was bad!

Mummytobe2023 · 15/11/2023 16:16

Hi all, is it ok if I join? I’m due 28th July.

I’m 36, DP 43 and this is our 🌈 baby following a MMC requiring surgical management earlier this year.

Congratulations to everyone else!

Ewbo2024 · 15/11/2023 17:00

Congratulations! @Mummytobe2023 🎊 😊

bringmearainbow · 15/11/2023 18:09

We saw a HB! It feels so surreal I couldn't actually believe it was there 6+3 which is where I thought

5+4 and nausea is kicking in... Weirdly 6pm every night 🤣! Will need to keep a pre-dinner snack on standby.

Savvy21 · 15/11/2023 18:11

@bringmearainbow I'm so pleased for you 😊Do you get a rescan in a few weeks?

bringmearainbow · 15/11/2023 18:13

@Savvy21 yes 1st dec 😍 it's a bit longer than he said but I had to be strict with the times I could get there so will just have to wait those extra few days

So happy for you @bringmearainbow !!

Wtafishappening · 15/11/2023 18:39

Hi all,
Peeking my head through. Just had BFP completely out of the blue. Am 41 (almost 42) and have 2 older DC (12 and 8). Took a test tonight as felt a bit off but couldn't remember when my period was due - we needed to know so could get a refund on the holiday we booked this week 😀. Think my dd will be around 21st July but not sure.
I am FREAKING out, so thought would post on here. Terrified of being this much older and pregnant, literally shaking.
Talk about a life pivot. Have forgotten everything too

Sunray33 · 15/11/2023 18:43

Hi, hope it’s ok if I join. I suffered a chemical/early loss in September and waited for next period to try again. I don’t normally test so early but got a positive on 10dpo cycle day 23 on Monday. Fingers crossed things work out this time. Want to get excited but just taking each day as it comes, especially as it’s early days.

Joannakabana · 15/11/2023 18:44

I’d like to join here too! I’m currently 6+2 after many, many attempts at IVF / ICSI. I’m a whopping 40 years old and this is the furthest I’ve got so far. Got a viability scan with my clinic next Tuesday and I’m so so nervous!

If all goes well (which I can’t believe it will!), the due date will be 8th July. 🤞

Hi all
First pregnancy and 5+5, nausea hits each morning and have to eat a snack every two hours, NHS due date is 10th July so fingers crossed.
Just had two questions, do you think i can carry on in my netball league in the first tri? Or is it recommended not to? Its a recreational league.
Secondly can anyone recommend a good private scan company? I want to get one in before xmas so i can tell family. If you cant recommend could you say what is the average cost? Dont want to get ripped off. Thank you!!

Hello! How bizarre, i am 5 plus 4 but due 14 July (must be period dates.) I also play league netball but have decided to stop during pregnancy. I am 37 though so not a fit young thing. I think it is really up to you and how you are feeling. I do know some who have played until 3rd trimester but they were very “fit” types

Vittoriosa · 15/11/2023 19:15

Aw congratulations! I feel in the same boat - 2 kids 9 and 11 and I will be 38 giving birth. Glad I am not alone on the large age gap! Bit concerned about it but glad that the kids will fully understand everything and hopefully be super excited. I am due 14th July

@Vittoriosa congrats to you too. At least you're a few years younger than me. I am just dreading the sickness. Had it to 20+ weeks both times. Also taking solace in that I'll have 2 kids old enough to be independent and also involved a bit more too. Eeeeeeeeeek. Cannot stop thinking about it. I need to read the ehole thread so I can remember what happens now. Glad to be on here a

Oh no, fingers crossed you avoid the sickness! I am very lucky - have never been sick previously, just mildly nauseous. At the moment I am sitting with a heat pad on my boobs though - they are really painful!! I am also having moments of panic after finding out last week but just trying to think of all the positive things!

Cookiemonster19 · 15/11/2023 22:17

Hi everyone!

congratulations to all the ladies who have joined 💕💃
im 4+ 4 today (I think) and have been nauseous on and off the past few days, gone off tea and coffee, bloated, constipated.
my symptoms aren’t full blown yet but they usually kick in around 6 weeks don’t they?
I took a clear and simple weeks indicator test today (as I only tested last week when I would have been 3 weeks pregnant and got 2 faint positives and wanted to see if it had darkened up) and all 4 of the test lines came up with 1 and 2 being the darkest and the other 2 fainter which I’m not worried about as it says on the box that it is normal to be faint (I’m not sure if anybody is familiar with these tests, they show a line per week of pregnancy, so 1 like for 1-2 weeks, 2 lines for 2-3 weeks etc.)
Ive rambled enough anyway but I’m just worried more symptoms havnt kicked in yet but am I just being paranoid? (have also suffered from extreme paranoia so far in this pregnancy, I was convinced my husband had been stabbed the other day)

ty for reading If you made it this far 😂

bringmearainbow · 16/11/2023 06:44

@Cookiemonster19 I've always had a few symptoms in the early stages but they really kick in for me from about 6 weeks so I wouldn't worry if you don't have much atm

@bringmearainbow Amazing! 🎊 So pleased for you 😊

Oatmilktea · 16/11/2023 09:34

I’d like to join please, I got my BFP this morning (on a test I bought in France when AF was late in the summer).

I went to the chemist for a clear blue test this morning, I’ve wasted £12 as I didn’t have enough urine oops!

I’m still in absolute shock. My only symptoms are sore tender breasts and I had a dull lower back ache for a few days.

I’m 32 and this is baby number 1

Forest1234 · 16/11/2023 10:07

Long day at work today, the amount of food I have packed 😳 if I’m not eating every 2 hours I get light-headed and nauseous, but also can’t figure out what it is I want to eat so need options. Urgh.

Oatmilktea · 16/11/2023 10:10

May I ask when you told or will be telling immediate family? I dont want to tell people too soon but I’m not sure how long I can last before telling my mum!
