@Gremlin84 sorry to hear you're having a scare, hopefully it's baby kicking up mischief and nothing more!

Vikki7 · 08/11/2023 09:19

Cephalon!!?! Excuse me! I meant cephalic. I don't know how my phone corrected that or what it is!

Gremlin84 · 08/11/2023 09:30

Thanks @RG9895 and @Vikki7. think it probably is just baby being a mischief. I literally did nothing yesterday- wfh day so lots of restful sitting, didn’t move anything or lift anything, didn’t do any chores. A mystery! I was very bloated though so maybe too much pressure on sensitive spots. Who knows.

HopeAndStrength · 08/11/2023 10:23

I've experienced the baby vibrations too, just a couple of times. Not sure what he's up to in there but the midwife says he is currently head down. My bump is just over the 10th centile so he's quite little, but she said not to worry at this point (28 weeks).

Lilothblos · 08/11/2023 10:36

@Vikki7 yes I think head down facing sideways, but hopefully someone with better knowledge than me will be along to confirm!

Just had my 31 week appt, baby is now head down (as of yesterday I think based on what I could feel)! Although fundal height last time was bang on the 50th centile and today it was waaaaaay above the 97th. My midwife didn’t seem at all concerned but it seems an enormous jump to me. Hoping it is just because measurements can be so inaccurate rather than baby suddenly gaining weight way too quickly.

Lilothblos · 08/11/2023 13:34

Looking into it more I’m surprised I wasn’t referred for a growth scan given the massive jump and how high it is above the 97th centile. I’m worrying now although probably unnecessarily.

Mummyme87 · 08/11/2023 13:58

@Vikki7 ROL is still cephallic, just means baby’s baby is on your left at the side at that moment in time.

Got a 24hr tape put on today from cardiology, will see if it shows anything!

Mummyme87 · 08/11/2023 14:02

@Marple03 dont worry about your HB, 117 is totally normal at 28weeks, cut off is 105. 120-140 is normal for non pregnant levels ❤️

Marple03 · 08/11/2023 16:04

@Mummyme87 thanks for your reassurance. Not sure what units we use here in Ireland v UK as I'd have to go and pull chart out again!

@Kalodin Ive been following along on this thread and just want to offer congratulations and every good wish for you and your little one, who I hope is getting stronger with each passing day. 🙏

Mummyme87 · 08/11/2023 16:24

@Marple03 11.7 is same as 117, 12.0-14.0 is 120-140, it changed in England a few years ago, only just got used to saying it like that 😂 but 11.7 is grand at 28wks ❤️

WitcheryDivine · 08/11/2023 16:28

Had another day in triage today with reduced movements. They've let me out as the tests showed fine but told me to "keep an eye on movements" which honestly is quite scary. Anyone else find the months of "vigilance" takes a bit of a toll?

Anyway hopefully baby is fine and just having a quiet one.

Kalodin · 08/11/2023 16:34

Glad baby is all okay @WitcheryDivine , not great spending time in triage is it, and then ofc you're going to worry too etc. Hopefully baby keeps moving lovely from now on.

Inmydreams88 · 08/11/2023 16:42

I've also been getting an achy/pain at the top of my stomach going down to my bellybutton. Seems to come and go but never lasting very long.

Walking around the shops is getting harder and harder, I am always hot and felt like I was going to pass out today queuing up to pay, I'm really struggling to see how some people are still doing their usual exercise routine while pregnant. The exercise thread on here made me feel like a right lazy sod when some people are still running, yoga, or swimming, 😂

Redpanda21 · 08/11/2023 16:46

Mine was 11.6 and all normal

sashastuck · 08/11/2023 17:01

@Inmydreams88 I totally feel you. The stairs at work are absolutely killing me and standing up whilst teaching is a strong no/impossible!! I’ve been terrible with exercising but telling myself at least my job is relatively active… saying that I never reach 10k steps a day anymore

@WitcheryDivine @Gremlin84 sorry you’ve been in triage, wouldn’t wish those worried trips on anyone but glad they think your bubbas are okay ❤️

@Vikki7 sounds similar to my baby’s position at my last appt. She said “head down but diagonal” I think - can always feel his bum poking out one side! Not sure if it’s a comfort thing but if I rub my bump he’ll push it against my hand 😂

WitcheryDivine · 08/11/2023 17:31

Thanks @Kalodin and @sashastuck xxx

@Kalodin How is your lovely little girl? x

Luhou · 08/11/2023 17:38

Feeling heavily pregnant today. Day at home with todler taking a toll. Struggling with excercise too. My poor dogs walk is getting shorter each week 🙈. Pelvic pain is next level. Anybdoy had a referal through for NHS physio for PGP yet? I've had mine through but it's for a group session, not quite what I was expecting

Salamander91 · 08/11/2023 19:27

Has anyone else had vagina pain? 🙈 every time I've stood up/walked today its felt really bruised like it's been kicked or something 😅 growth scan tomorrow. I feel like bump has grown so much the past two weeks so I won't be surprised if he's suddenly huge.

Ttcdcno1 · 08/11/2023 19:45

@Luhou yeah I had a group appt come through. Didn’t bother going to it. Wasn’t up for that 😂Ended up buying a support belt and just taking it much easier whenever I can and it’s eased. Got a ball to sit on too

Mummyme87 · 08/11/2023 19:56

@Luhou yes I have physio on 24th November, it’s a one 2 one, but group sessions are fairly common place as a first port of call.

@Salamander91 yup also the boot in the vag pain. Had it since pretty early on, the joys of PGP. I get lots of lightening bolts shooting in my vagina and in my bum, fun!!!

lilluce95 · 08/11/2023 22:00

@Luhou I feel exactly the same, my poor doggo is lucky to get 30 minutes now bless her! I feel like walking actually helps my pelvic pain, but then it's 10x worse when I get home so I can't win!

lilluce95 · 08/11/2023 22:01

Has anyone had any antenatal classes yet? I have my first one on Monday and I'm really looking forward to it!

FirstT1meMum · 08/11/2023 22:05

@lilluce95 we had our first NCT one on Monday! It was really lovely 😊

lilluce95 · 08/11/2023 22:22

@FirstT1meMum ahh that's good!! I'm looking forward to them - I feel so clueless about everything 😂 what did parents do before google?!

FirstT1meMum · 08/11/2023 22:25

@lilluce95 that's exactly how I feel! It's like I'm getting all my information from Google but it was really nice to ask anything and talk about worries with others!
