I couldn't find a new thread open as the old is now full.

Got a few of the usernames to tag, definitely missed people but hopefully they find the thread :)

@LeeanneD11 i had them in my first pregnancy from 20 something weeks, haven’t had them so much this time.

I think keeping hydrated can help 😊

I drink loads , but I have pressure and feel sick too , and the tightenings haven't had them since yesterday evening . And the back ache of turning over is unbearable too xx

WhyIsTheDogBlue · 12/09/2023 21:10

@GreenAventurinee how many weeks are you? I had a growth scan yesterday at 30+3 weeks and baby is estimated to be 2lb 10 and just below the 10th centile. I had a scan 2 weeks ago and he/she was was just below 10th then too. I have another in 2 weeks and if tracking the same then they have said they're not worried as everything else is showing as normal and tests are coming back as being well within range, so probably just going to be a small bab. The consultant said they were a little surprised seeing as both myself and DP are taller than average, but it could be partly down to my age (41) and older mums having a tendency to have smaller than average babies.

GreenAventurinee · 12/09/2023 21:40

I’m 30 + 3 also. I’m being transferred to another hospital as it’s a strong possibility baby is on her way. I’m in wales and they are talking about England. I’m so scared.

Spareincoming · 12/09/2023 21:51

@GreenAventurinee thinking of you tonight. You’ve got this; the maternity staff will be doing everything they can for you and little one. You’ve done a great job of growing her so far, you’ll do a great job at whatever happens next.

Crazybrowncow · 12/09/2023 22:12

@GreenAventurinee stay strong for bubs my love, we're all here with you. Keeping everything crossed for you and sending much love and positivity. xx

WriMum22 · 13/09/2023 05:53

@GreenAventurinee thinking of you my lovely, you and baby are in the best hands xx

TMI2000 · 13/09/2023 06:16

@GreenAventurinee also thinking of you, you’ve done an amazing job and just rest assured you are in the best hands and the maternity ward will be doing everything they can and you will be amazing at whatever comes next ❤️

@GreenAventurinee 💖

GreenAventurinee · 13/09/2023 07:44

Just a little update from us. There was no room at any of the inns so they kept me at my local hospital. My bloods were still crazy high last night but I’m feeling well in my self l, as is baby.

As far as I know a transfer is still on the cards today but I am praying my bloods start to decline today. They’ve started me on medication I had with my first pregnant and I managed to hold onto him until 35 weeks.

I’ve had one steroid injection and will have another today for baby girls lungs.

My goal for this pregnancy was 37 weeks and to have a baby in a cot on the ward next to me. I so hope I can still have this dream.

GreenAventurinee · 13/09/2023 07:44

Also, thank you for all your lovely messages 💕

JD90 · 13/09/2023 08:04

@GreenAventurinee keeping everything crossed for you and bub and glad to hear you're feeling well in yourself 🤞🤞🤞

Spareincoming · 13/09/2023 08:11

A good update there @GreenAventurinee, very pleased to see it this morning. I’m still in, my target is 37 weeks too, I have one consultant who thinks he can get me to 39; the rest are all nodding along to 37 or earlier if needed.
I am eternally grateful that this is not the hospital I’ll deliver in, the food is, and always has been, dreadful! If the bigger hospital can’t have me (emergency etc) I’ll be send over the border and would land in what is a luxury hospital in comparison to any here!

Shaker21 · 13/09/2023 09:03

Thinking of you @GreenAventurinee Glad to hear the update this morning and you are in the best hands and both will be well looked after I am sure!

Thinking of you @GreenAventurinee, fingers crossed for your levels coming down, and you too @Spareincoming - sorry you’re both facing so much worry.

I’m in this afternoon for a growth scan and to see the consultant and I think possibly book in section, but not entirely sure. I feel quite nervous even though it’s all fairly routine, but some truly awful times in our lives have been centred round that hospital so it’s always difficult for us both heading back in. On the plus side, DH has the whole afternoon off because I have so many appts and everything overruns, and my dad will pick the other kids up from school and give them their tea, so really it’s practically a date for us! 😅

Spareincoming · 13/09/2023 10:27

@reememberly thanks for you thoughts; I try and see all these complications as another step closer to baby being here rather than the alternative.
We also treat the run outs for appointments etc as date mornings or afternoons too! It’s about the only childfree time we ever get!

LilmissCa · 13/09/2023 15:43

Just catching up ... thinking of you both @GreenAventurinee and @Spareincoming big love 💗

LeeanneD11 · 13/09/2023 18:27

:I hope your ok @GreenAventurinee & @Spareincoming 💙🩷

Is anyone else getting pressure like bad pressure above my pubic bone and pressure in the bum it's so uncomfortable I didn't experience this before , I am coming up to 30 weeks has anyone else experienced this? This is normal , I had Braxton hicks 2 days ago nothing since and baby is moving well no problem there which is a good thing xx

WriMum22 · 13/09/2023 18:58

@LeeanneD11 Im 30 weeks and I’m getting all sorts of aches, pains and pressure. Saw the midwife last week and baby was head down so think it’s just her weight maybe. I think at this point it’s all normal and nothing to worry about

Ah ok I think baby head is at top of my ribs and legs are at the bottom , I don't have midwife now till 32 weeks x

GreenAventurinee · 13/09/2023 19:29

Positive update from me. Still havnt been transferred, so they seem happy they won’t have to deliver in the next few days. 30+4 today and every day is making me feel better.
just had my second lot of steroid injections also so that’s another positive.
Baby seems happy. I’m well in myself, and although other bloods are starting to raise, it’s a good thing (kind of!) as now the doctors are more sure of it pointing towards another severe case of obstetric cholestasis. Not the best, and still scary but I feel better as my body has done this before and I have a handsome, healthy almost 15 year old boy as proof.

Feeling better with a slight plan in place and more confident in myself. I can do this 👏

I hope everyone has had a good day also.

CliniMama · 13/09/2023 20:05

@GreenAventurinee so glad to hear it!

@Spareincoming hope you're doing better too.

Hang in there!

Spareincoming · 13/09/2023 22:43

@GreenAventurinee great update!
I’m still in, consultant said this morning that if things start to settle in the next 24 hours I could be out on Friday morning. Which would be great as I’ve only got 3 more unread books on my kindle!

Brilliant. I’m going to try manifest being out Friday too! Still could go either way but let’s be positive!

Psqueak87 · 14/09/2023 03:31

Just catching up:

@Shaker21 yes I’ve been having pressure and light pain / uncomfort down low in my pelvis when walking. When I’m walking slow it’s fine, but when I’m walking my dogs at a bit of a pace I’ll get a light pain every couple of minutes with a particularly aggressive step or something. Lol. Not sure if my baby is head down, wasn’t at my 26 week 4d ultrasound, she was transverse then. I’m having a normal ultrasound in 2 weeks, I’ll be 34 weeks then so we shall see. Your 4d pic looks great, nice front on photo! Baby looks super cute!

@GreenAventurinee & @spareincoming I hope things are ok with you! I’m on another baby group for November 2023 babies and about 10 of them have been born already. From 23 weeks onwards. And they all seem to be doing well.

Ayzal · 14/09/2023 07:25

Hello i am 38 weeks pregnant . I had right side pain only on one side of my back it was like stabbing sharp pain and was too severe that i couldnt talk or walk stayed for 2-3 minutes. It came three times with the gap of 45 minutes and then vanished . Im wondering if its labour pain? It was only on right back side .
