4 weeks pregnant / due April 2024

Hello!

I got a BFP this morning and think that I am approximately 4 weeks pregnant.
Whilst I am of course delighted, I had a chemical pregnancy last month and so my initial elation has quickly been replaced with fear and wishing that I didn't know so early!

Just wondering if there is anyone in the same boat? If really appreciate some company and morale support during the wait!

@Sweetyyxooxox I can also see something in the b&w but have a feeling it would be darker possibly if your period was then, I know everyone is different and ovulation dates can vary etc, my period was 12th July and did a test on 5th Aug which was prominently visible on a cheapie strip test. Recommend test again in 48hrs xx

Finally used my first “weeks” indicator this morning and got this! So pleased to see 2-3 which is exactly right as I’m 4 weeks 4 days today! So I’m going to try and hold off on testing now until next weekend when I’ll use the other weeks one, hopefully get a 3+ and stop testing! Xx

Hi everyone still had some bleeding and just done a test. The line is very very faint so guessing it was a chemical 😭 good luck to you all xxx

@DizzyM43 how far along are you today to get 3+? I’m thinking I will just wait until next weekend to test again x

@Mrsttcno1 I got 3+ around 5+4 but hasn't done a digital in about a week prior to that x

Ahh thanks @Ttcmumma I think I will do the same thing. I have 1 more weeks digital so I’ll wait until next weekend to take that one! X

@Mrsttcno1 @DizzyM43 I got 2-3 at 4 weeks exactly and 3+ six days later 4+6, those were the only digitals I did. Not sure if I've got my dates wrong or if that sounds about right

@Mrsttcno1 I'm not sure as didn't track ovulation but think I ovulated late and poss about right,!we had got to the point where we felt if it happened it happened and let's not stress over it l. I got the 2-3 weeks a week before the 3+ if that helps 😂

@jodie000 how far are you now then?

Are any of you getting an early scan? I'm in 2 minds...

@DizzyM43 I have two apps one says 5+2 the other 5+4, both have the same due date and info entered in...bizarre
I would get an early scan if it was a bit cheaper for me, everywhere nearby seems to be £90

Do you ladies have any past experiences of miscarriage etc? As you'll get a scan from epu on the NHS most likely. I requested one as I had 14 week MMC in Jan and mines Monday morning in epu. From lmp I'm 5+6 today but going off so I'm 6+1 Its all abit confusing. I'm going off lmp as that's what scanners will go by and if baby is slightly ahead then that's only a good thing x

@Mrsttcno1 ah lovely! With my son I had no anxiety or worries so I waited until my 12 week scan, can you imagine 🤣 now I'm going out of my mind because of my loss 🤦🏼‍♀️ and thank you for the goodluck, I'm pretty sure my eyes will be closed the entire time waiting for them to say something lol

@cdn298 I'm really sorry, I hope you're OK.

Feeling a bit anxious as my toddler has caught hand foot and mouth disease at nursery. The NHS website says it can be dangerous in early pregnancy if it causes a high fever. So far he doesn't have a fever so fingers crossed I don't get one either. Impossible that I won't catch it as he's attached to me like velcro 🫠

@WolfMother326 hey! My son has caught this twice and is also attached to me like velcro, I've never caught it off him nor anyone in my household x

@WolfMother326 I find it's usually the kiddies that catch it so fingers crossed you'll be fine especially as you're being careful x

@jodie000 oh wow how odd that they are giving different dates, suppose scan will let you know for sure, window to the womb have offers on if there is one nearby but not much cheaper lol

@Ttcmumma I have had 2 previous mmc before this pregnancy and was under EPU then I haven't contacted them so far. Good luck with your scan on Monday
