@wannabemum38 I hope you are feeling better now you've had some reassurance and glad you have someone to talk to
Take it easy as it sounds like your body is calling out for some rest.

I had a horrible migraine yesterday (haven't suffered with them since I was a teenager) and had to go to bed early and be in a dark room. I can still feel it a bit today but I'm hoping it doesn't come back in full force.

wannabemum38 · 06/07/2023 09:19

Thanks for all your comments. It has been tough but luckily work have been understanding and I've got my hen do to look forward too at the weekend. So much going on at the moment think I just need to look after myself bit more.
@SMG1992 poor thing I get migraines and it's hard when you can't take much for them. I have had a niggling headache all week doctor said it sounded like a tension one plus the dehydration not a great combination. Hope you rest up aswell!

Omg, can anyone help with bras? I'm 18 weeks and feel like I've doubled in size overnight. Nothing fits, they're too hot and unsupportive ::rage:: and I was 38dd before being pregnant! Any advice hugely appreciated

Nclktnntt · 07/07/2023 14:56

@Soundbathfan I had to measure myself and order offline, hopefully I got it right! I tried going in places but nowhere has decent maternity bras instore! I haven't tried them on yet (arrived today and I'm at work) but fingers crossed they fit, got them from M&S, I'm fed up of my bras not fitting anymore 😂

I had fairly small boobs to start with although also feel like they’ve got much bigger! Not sure what size you are but I got some non wired bras from primark at the start of my pregnancy and they’re honestly so comfortable. Didn’t want to spend loads on them as I know my boobs will shrink back to the midgets they normally are after breastfeeding 😂 but yeah would recommend primark ones

Jolayla · 07/07/2023 16:43

Hey I'm due 15th dec now 17 weeks, has anyone started to feel movements and then stoped this is my second pregnancy with a posterior placenta felt flutters from 13 weeks. And all of a sudden I dont feel a thing for a few days 🤔🙄

NoodleQueen90 · 07/07/2023 17:05

@Jolayla a few girls in another group I'm in have had this, they think the baby has just changed position. It's so early they can only feel it when it's lying a certain way. Some have had scans and heartbeat checks that were already booked and all was ok so try not to worry too much. Maybe contact epu if you're really anxious.
I'm 17+2 and haven't felt anything yet but my bump changes sometimes and I think it's probably the same thing. It looked huge and almost pointed for a few days last week then I woke up the other day and it had gone way down and rounded again.

I felt movement for a couple of weeks, but haven't felt anything for a week or so now. I just presume that baby has wriggled itself into a corner and is all tucked up for now. It's still very early- I'm 16+4 with baby 2 so it's still tiny in there. Was definitely more reassuring when I was feeling regular flutters though!

As for cravings, mine is chocolate. Dark, milk and white, in cake form, as chocolate overnight oats and as a brownie. Can't get through the day without something chocolaty, or I can barely function for thinking about it!

Im 17 weeks today and was feeling flutters from 14 weeks everyday least a few times. Like your self I havent felt movements for almost a week now I've been going out my mind. Did your movements return? X

Sorry didn't realise it was a reply to me haha. Oh gosh it's so worrying isn't it. Where is your placenta mine is at the back so guess that's why I've felt them early. I'm hoping we both get our baby moving soon. My midwife is useless lol. I've had no craving at all in fact no major symptoms either so that already worried me x

Yeah ive saw a few say the same thing. I'm naturally ana anxious person so it's really scared me. My bump is the same I wake up and I'm flat lol later on I'm massive x

I got these from Amazon.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazingjoys-Seamless-Wireless-Removable-AMS33/dp/B0BVB4YLF7?pdrddw=zDcGa&content-id=amzn1.sym.99287ee2-be7b-47ac-a6c0-0ecc40c5b32b&pfrddp=99287ee2-be7b-47ac-a6c0-0ecc40c5b32b&pfrddr=AXMGJ9Y6Y2VV05RYQPNK&pdrddwg=e3bRQ&pdrddr=850ed895-5796-422a-955f-8181dc161059&pdrddi=B0BVB4YLF7&psc=1&ref=pddbapmmgriddvvrp0010_t

I'm a 40f and couldn't cope with underwire from about 10 weeks.
I find them comfy and not too hot.
I went for the biggest size and they fit and wash well.
Hope it helps. Xx

RG84 · 07/07/2023 18:09

I'm 16+4 weeks with 2nd baby however I've not felt anything yet so a little worried as I've read everywhere that you feel it super early with 2nd baby. I have a private scan on Sunday. On another note, regarding private scan, once I got the confirmation, it said its 3-5min appointment. I was a little shocked and its £70. Anyone else that had private scans that where short? I know depending on which scan place you go too but 3-5mins doesn't seem like much. Especially as my 3 year old was born in South Africa and the scans there were so so thorough so not use to private scans here.

wannabemum38 · 07/07/2023 21:02

@RG84 my last scan was £60 and was also just a quick fetal health scan which lasted about 10 minutes overall. Was expensive but worth it for the reassurance.
I got couple of bras from Jojo Maman Bebe very comfortable. They had an offer on. I was 34DD to start I'm a large in their size.

Hi, the movement came back, I'd feel something for a day or two, then nothing for a couple of days, but now I've felt rolling movements snd kicks for 3 days in a row, so definitely getting much more regular! I tend to feel movement just after I've eaten something sweet! (Well any excuse for another brownie!!)

RG84 · 08/07/2023 07:12

Just seems crazy but looking forward to the scan tomorrow especially as I haven't felt any movements. Tomorrow feels like forever away 😭

Hope you are all doing great and have a fab weekend!

Bloody hormones.
I'm crying over putting an ikea wardrobe together. We are just putting the doors on. The rest of it is all done and I've just burst into tears.
Anybody else crying at irrational things? And we haven't even argued whilst putting the it together!!!

I cry almost everyday, emotional tears, sometimes no reason other just happy thoughts!!! I guess that's normal, isnt it?

Smileyface32 · 08/07/2023 21:35

I cried the other day because I didn’t want to wear a bra to work!

bookbathnap · 08/07/2023 21:41

I cried at a video of a camel on tiktock 🤷‍♀️
