It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

@Hankthehonk and @Pinkmoon23 yes I'm feeling anxious also. Not really many symptoms and also too scared to test again. I did my last test at 17 dpo, and I've refused to buy more. Im going to get a private early scan at 7 weeks I think. It's about £60 and I'd rather that than peering at loads more lines 😅

@Pinkmoon23 I think it is still spotting, but it could be something like a small haematoma. I had one in my last pregnancy and had extremely light spotting. Just when I wiped or checked

DmcinT · 20/06/2023 09:16

@Hankthehonk thanks for the reply, she did say it’s within normal range for a singleton pregnancy but incase I’ve twins or triplets again she’s putting me on progesterone suppositories, has anyone ever been on these? I have to go collect them now this morning and start them.
great to see ur line progression, I’ve taken sample and going to get a digital test when I’m out here now, I’m roughly 5 +1 or 2 so hoping for 3+ and that’s the end of testing for me.

i don’t have nausea yet, I think I was around 6/7 weeks before it got really bad the last time but maybe if it’s only 1 baby I won’t have it this time 😅🤞🏽We’ll see. I’m on holiday tomorr for 3 weeks so hoping it’s not bad. I am eating everything though..

also I got my hcg beta and hcg levels from those bloods last week, does anyone know the difference? Mine are quite close but just wondering is that normal?

sorry I feel like I’m full of questions 🙈

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 20/06/2023 09:27

@DmcinT what were the levels? I only have mine from last time, I decided not to get them this time

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 20/06/2023 09:27

@DmcinT holiday for three weekend sounds amazing!

DmcinT · 20/06/2023 10:04

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 hcg beta was 417 and hcg was 447 (I’ve read loads abt the difference between them as in beta is a ‘free’ hcg and the full hcg includes alpha too but I’ll be honest i dont really understand what all that means in terms of the pregnancy 😅

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 20/06/2023 10:18

@DmcinT oh sorry I see what you mean now! I only had the hcg betas, not a separate hcg. I don't know either - I thought you meant the two separate betas were close together 😅 sorry not to be of help.

This might be useful in terms of when to take a Clearblue weeks though. I looked this up last time when I was taking my betas at the same time and it did correspond. I didn't get my 3+ til over 3000 on betas. But wasted tests before. You can kind of calculate it from estimating doubling every 48 hours

@GeriatricMumma I'm waiting for 3+ too although my lines on IC are strong.

I'm getting very mild nausua occasionally and sore boobs on and off. Everytime it disappears it scares me.

Took some nasal spray last night which apparently isn't suitable for pregnancy (should've checked) so worrying a bit.

Those who had blood tests done at the GP were they just standard or was there a reason for them?

DmcinT · 20/06/2023 10:31

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 yeah I’m not sure why the doctor gave me both those readings to be honest. My beta was 2,684 this morning and I did the test hoping Id get 3 weeks but still at 2-3 (I had read these ranges but still kinda thought it might be close enough to get the 3+ but nope) I’ll try tomorrow evening again I think but yeah out a fortune on tests 😅 and can’t get over how expensive the progesterone is for one months worth🫣 (I mean obvs all worth it but still)

DmcinT · 20/06/2023 10:38

@Un7breakable sorry we cross posted, doctor took my bloods as I had a MMC end of March with triplets so they are conscious of multiples again and want to support with anything extra incase it is. They’ve put me on progesterone as an extra support incase.
there are multiples everywhere in my family, my sister, my aunt and my granny had 2 sets of twin brothers so I’m super high risk of it 🫣

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 20/06/2023 11:03

@DmcinT do they think your levels currently are suggestive of multiples? That's so interesting! My levels were about 3800 at 5 weeks exactly for a singleton last time.

@Un7breakable there's a private fingerprick test you can do for £55 to get your betas. Or you can wait for a scan at 6/7 weeks. I'm tried to be more chilled this time around, but I'm clearly not 😅

DmcinT · 20/06/2023 11:09

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 everything is quite hopeful for a singleton this time round🤞🏽 (levels wise) but there’s always that chance and I’m too early to see on a scan just yet. Being away for 3 weeks now too I can’t get a scan until I’m over 8 weeks but at least I’ll have been on progesterone if it does turn out to be multiples.

they are 99% sure the MC was the fact the triplets were on one plancenta (they were identical, one egg split in 3) so I suppose I’m hoping for a singleton for less risk and less complications 🤞🏽

Mismatc · 20/06/2023 11:57

Hello! May I join? I think I’m due around February 29th (I hope this is the due date because it’s pretty cool).

I’m feeling so rotten with nausea, exhaustion and a cold. Can’t quite believe that I’ve had nausea since the moment of conception but I really have.

I’m 34 and this is baby number 3 (older DC are 9 and 10) — I’m hoping all goes well 🤞🏻

Pinkmoon23 · 20/06/2023 11:59

How much cramping are you guys getting?

Zesty23 · 20/06/2023 12:07

Sadly my pregnancy has ended in another early miscarriage. Wishing everyone on this thread all of the luck in their world with their pregnancies. 🤞🏼💕🌈

Pinkmoon23 · 20/06/2023 12:07

Also does anyone else have brown discharge? Can't even remember if I've already asked this sorry if I have 😅 #pregnancybrain

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 20/06/2023 12:10

@Zesty23 I'm so so sorry xx

DmcinT · 20/06/2023 12:16

@Zesty23 I’m so so sorry this has happened again, take care of urself, sending so much love ❤️

DmcinT · 20/06/2023 12:19

@Pinkmoon23 I don’t really have any cramping this time, I think my ligaments and uterus were stretched so much the last time that it’s just gone straight back up to that but I know I’d a good bit the last time when my uterus was stretching for the first time.

on the discharge, I’ve had a good bit of more yellowy lotion type, is this what urs is like?

Hankthehonk · 20/06/2023 12:20

@Zesty23 Oh no, I'm so sorry for your loss. This is terrible, hope you are looking after yourself and have the support you need.

Strawberry06 · 20/06/2023 12:20

@Zesty23 I am so sorry, heartbroken for you 😥Be kind to yourself

Pinkmoon23 · 20/06/2023 12:26

I've just read that biotin can alter Hcg blood levels by lowering them... My prenatal has biotin in it. I wonder if that's what has been causing my lower levels and lighter tests?!

Pinkmoon23 · 20/06/2023 12:26

@Zesty23 I am so incredibly sorry, I really hope you're OK. Thinking of you 😔❤️ take care

Strawberry06 · 20/06/2023 12:26

@Pinkmoon23 I haven't really had any tummy cramps, more like slight pains/twinges/stretches. However, I have had terrible back pain. So much so had to sleep with a hot water bottle on it on Sunday night (yes in this heat!) then I was worried about my temperature rising. Seems to have calmed now though.

Mangotango39 · 20/06/2023 12:40

@Zesty23 I am so sorry to hear this. Thinking of you 🙏🏻

Meeting · 20/06/2023 12:55

@Zesty23 so sorry to hear that, I've been there and know how it feels x

Is anyone else struggling with really bad headaches?
