It's very early days but I suspect there are some new BFP's meaning we'd be due in February. I'm 4 weeks today so super early. Anyone with me? Has anyone got any early pregnancy symptoms?

I was very tired last week and hungry but this week just a few stretching pains and aches in my back. I woke up feeling like I has sore boobs but that's gone now. I didn't have sore boobs with all of my children - only the boys. I did have hyperemisis though so the lack of nausea is making me worry

Starjay7 · 19/06/2023 14:22

@GeriatricMumma thank god someone near my age!! You anxious? Are we mad? 🤣🤣🤣

PeeBeee · 19/06/2023 15:03

My mum looks after my lg and I just came into hers to collect her where we were sitting in the living room with one of my sisters and my mum sees 3 magpies out the window and says to me and my sister ‘does one of you have something to tell me?’ I am dead💀😂

this is going to be the longest few weeks ever! When does everyone plan to tell parents/family?

with my lg we told them after a private scan at 6 weeks once we seen the hb but i feel telling them that early again will make the pregnancy drag but at the same time, its killing me not saying anything!

GeriatricMumma · 19/06/2023 15:12

@PeeBeee haha it's a sign!

@Starjay7 yep defo mad. I wasn't expecting this at all but I'm nervous / happy. More worried about any potential complications as I've already got a complex history and had 3 c sections. Fingers crossed will all be ok!

Un7breakable · 19/06/2023 15:14

@BbyBx2 I think once you get a positive. I've done the online referral and I'm 4+5.

My main symptom is sore boobs, although how sore varies and it sometimes goes away which freaks me out. I've had very mild nasusa that only lasts for about a minute (might be in my head), has some cramps/pains but they've gone. Lots of CM. Also does anyone find they can't sleep properly? I've been getting up at 4am because I can no longer sleep.

moosey89 · 19/06/2023 15:19

@Un7breakable I've been waking up super early! So frustrating when I feel tired all day anyway at the moment haha trying to go to bed earlier to see if I can at least get a bit more total sleep!

Kiwiburgh · 19/06/2023 15:20

Congratulations to all the BFPs that have just joined 😁
@Pinkmoon23 yay! Tripling numbers is excellent. I'm so frigging happy for you! Is your gp wanting to do another level later for reassurance or is she happy enough now thats its not needed? Hopefully you can try and enjoy your pregnancy now 😁

Strawberry06 · 19/06/2023 15:27

When is everyone telling their work? Are most waiting until after 12 weeks? I feel like I should tell my boss cause I've got a few appointments before then but feel its too early! (7 weeks tomorrow)

moosey89 · 19/06/2023 15:30

@Strawberry06 no need to tell them (legally) until 15 weeks before baby is due (in the UK anyway). It's totally up to you when you want to tell them, but I know some people get nervous about a company trying to find a way to get rid of them and want to give them as little opportunity as possible to do that. I didn't tell my employer before until I miscarried as it didn't have any impact on my work days. This time, I'll be telling them if I get to 24 weeks.

Un7breakable · 19/06/2023 15:34

@moosey89 Tell me about it. Going to bed earlier hasn't helped. Didn't realise it was a pregnancy thing until.i googled it.

@Strawberry06 I'm not telling them until after my NHS scan. Tbh as I've got holiday booked I'll probably be about 15 weeks before I tell them assuming everything goes well. I've got a private scan in a few weeks and just said it was a medical appointment and they didn't ask for anymore details.

Un7breakable · 19/06/2023 15:36

Was quite funny, this afternoon got asked to take on an additional voluntary role. Had to say no so probably looked like a cow but they'll thank me when it hopefully all goes well and in don't have to leave half way through.

GeriatricMumma · 19/06/2023 15:37

@Un7breakable yes been waking up at 4am too, to be fair I usually get up at 5.

Been having bizarre dreams! Also not sure if odd moments of nausea are just in my head.

This morning my dog got hold of a deer's leg (it was already not attached to the dead deer) and I had to wrestle it off him and throw it in a bush, i was definately nauseas then 😂🤣

GeriatricMumma · 19/06/2023 15:38

@Strawberry06 my 4th baby, they'll all guess before I tell them which won't be long going by no. 3

Pinkmoon23 · 19/06/2023 15:55

@Kiwiburgh amazing you got your 3 weeks + on digi! I'm thrilled for you 🥰

I'm so happy my numbers tripled, still really nervous they're so low for 4 weeks. I've scared myself from reading too much about it all too ☹️ But just trying to remember that the Dr isn't concerned with the number. Just the rate they increase. She doesn't need anymore bloods just now, I just need to be referred to a special thyroid clinic and phone the midwife.

SnowyNoey · 19/06/2023 16:21

@Pen40 I wouldn’t worry I was like that in my first two pregnancies , if you’re worried call your dr. I’ve asked the doc to call me today as I’m worried about the amount of nausea and dizziness I’m getting at 7weeks. I couldn’t move much for 2-3 hours yesterday due to motion sickness.
infact my friend got worried as she was the same as you and when she went for her scan she had two babies!!

Pen40 · 19/06/2023 16:35

Thanks @SnowyNoey I might call the dr tomorrow. Hope your sickness gets better soon, that sounds difficult to deal with! Are you on anti sickness meds?

hi @Strawberry06 ! Yes we have spoken before! I was on another thread worrying about lack of symptoms 🤦🏼‍♀️ how are you doing?

still have no symptoms at all very worried after a mmc in January. Can I check how people are getting their blood tests done? Is this something I can do through the gp or do you have to pay for it?

Meeting · 19/06/2023 16:40

Wondering if anyone can help me pinpoint roughly how far along I am?

MC started on 9th April and lasted a week, we didn't DTD for probably another 2 weeks after that.
I just did a clear blue digital and it says 3+ which is further than I was expecting.

Wanting to try and calculate a rough due date but finding it confusing x

DmcinT · 19/06/2023 16:44

Hi everyone, i took a few days off & had a lovely night away, feeling very chilled. I’ve missed so many new feb babies join, hi to everyone❤️

@Foreverhoping33 I went to my dr last week and asked for bloods, I’m sure yours will be able to do them if u book an appointment🤞🏽

Another question from me on anyone who has also had a recent MC (esp later in 1st trimester) just wondering have u noticed ur bump popping out very early? I was pregnant with triplets so was quite big at 11 weeks but already in this new pregnancy I’ve gone straight back out to what I was in April 🙈 makes it very obvious and hard to deny if anyone asks am I pregnant 😬 I really can’t hide it at all at this stage and not even 6 weeks yet

moosey89 · 19/06/2023 16:52

@Foreverhoping33 I used the blood tests that @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 linked to - really easy to do from home, and results 48hrs after you send them your sample. You'll need to do 2 or more, with at least 2 days between them, to see the progression of your HCG.

BbyBx2 · 19/06/2023 17:12

@Foreverhoping33 ahh wow! That’s great!

I have tiredness and just emotional at times could cry over a leaf blowing by🤣 but other than that that’s it so far.

How many weeks are you?

Hrps · 19/06/2023 17:26

mumtotwox · 19/06/2023 09:44

Has anyone phoned to book in for their first appointment/scan date yet?

I've booked in for when I'll be 8 weeks. I phoned up at exactly 6 and the midwife said that's for them thats as early as they take people to book their first appointment. It makes it all the more real!

Hi all 👋 can I join too, only found out today so it’s not really sunk in. I’m due 20th Feb xx

PeeBeee · 19/06/2023 18:13

4 weeks today and I just threw up my dinner. I wasn’t sick to well after 6 weeks with my last pregnancy. It’s like my body said, “ok, so you have officially missed your period, time to be sick”. I will most definitely not be having any mince the rest of this pregnancy 🤢
