Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

Hey everyone! I've missed quite a few messages but hope you're all well 😊. Managed to get a 5 week scan today in order to get the medication I needed and happy to report all looks good! Sac measuring as it should and the start of a fetal pole was there. Going for a scan next week and the week after.. think it might be weekly for a while.

Still can't believe I'll have 2u2! Xx

shout Out to the Feb crew!!!
mum due 8/2 I’m 43!!! Least to say this was a HUGE surprise. Have a 17 & 6 yo son.

Whippetmother · 31/05/2023 22:22

Hello to folks joining (I’m formerly A2003 with an equally silly username).
Great news @Rachae ☺️
Congratulations to the new joiners 😊

My nausea picked up a bit today… mostly in the morning and not too bad, although there was a moment I thought I was going to projectile vomit in the car 🙈 fingers crossed for smooth sailing for everyone xx

mashm24 · 01/06/2023 07:26

@Rachae that's great news!! I'm so pleased for you!! 🥰🥰

Welcome to all the newbies. Excited to see loads of new Mumma's joining now!! Just catching up on all the messages. Hope everyone is feeling well?

Nausea is still at bay but my boobs feel like they're on fire 😂

@Rachae ps. Do you know if we're still okay to get a transvaginal scan after the lletz / cone biopsy? I've booked a scan for 8 weeks but nervous about it not being an abdominal one!

Thanks for all the welcomes guys, excited to chat along although apologise if I miss a few bits, work & a toddler means a very busy life.

my sleep is out the window!! Anyone else? I went to bed at 8:30pm last night, slept straight through to 4:45am and then couldn’t get back to sleep - must have had enough sleep going to bed that early but I couldn’t keep my eyes open last night.

having a huge caffeine panic this morning too - I can’t live without my nespresso machine but need to remember to limit myself to just 1 a day again as I had two yesterday. You completely forget about all these little bits don’t you second time round.

SophSmall · 01/06/2023 07:37

I'm a pretty light sleeper anyway, but I've been seeing every hour on the clock each night 🙃

mashm24 · 01/06/2023 07:46

@Tilly18101 @SophSmall I feel you both!! I keep waking up at 3am and then really can't fall back to sleep, it's so frustrating. I find white noise does help a little though?

@Tilly18101 you really do forget. DH order a plate of cold meats and chorizo's yesterday and I forgot I wasn't allowed such luxuries 🤣

I had transvaginal scans in my last pregnancy after letz and it was totally fine, there were no issues :)

It’s so rough isn’t it. I’m sort of used to bad nights sleep, my DD isn’t too bad now but she doesn’t sleep through consistently either so the pair of us are going to be fun the next few months!

Oh 3am is so early! Let’s hope it all settles down soon.

oh god I love chorizo as well! Ok if it’s cooked but I remember I didn’t eat anything like that first time around just to be extra cautious. No more runny poached eggs either - my favourite breakfast!

Greenergreenie · 01/06/2023 07:50

Morning gang.
I think some disturbed nights are inevitable with so much baby excitement! Also get used to it. It gets worse and worse with a growing bump and constantly peeing ha!

Just wondering if anyone wants to set up a Facebook group? I think this thread has a limit of messages.

Also I joined one during my last pregnancy from mumsnet, it’s such a lovely supportive group with everyone going through the same thing. plus it was covid so kept me sane!!! Xxxx

mashm24 · 01/06/2023 07:52

Yess somebody please set up a Facebook group. I tried to do this but was not sure how to keep it private etc🙈! So if somebody else could that would be amazing 😃😃?

These look like fab lines, I'm doing line progression as well, kinda regretting now as think should be darker!

I think I will do another clear blue digital weeks after 5 weeks when my mum and gran come over and tell them if 3+ 🤔 though I know you're not meant to place too much faith in them, will be a sign going in the right direction.

Thank you for those with the advice for telling friends with fertility issues, makes a lot of sense, and hoping these are sticky beans for everyone.

Can always do another thread like Feb 24 babies part 2, 3, etc and link it? I'm not active on Facebook so happy to stay on here but no reason can't have both 😊

Definitely feeling the sleep disturbance! Glad I'm not alone haha.

I have set up a FB if anyone wants to join, linked below. I had one with my first and it was a great way to connect and get reassurance.

Rachae · 01/06/2023 10:49

Hi guys!
congratulations everyone!
I got a solid positive test this morning after a few days of faint but gradually deepening lines.

I ovulated 12 days ago, but my app tells me I am 4 days 1 week pregnant - am I being really dim or does it calculate from the day your cycle started? Even though you aren’t pregnant then?

On Saturday I felt totally exhausted, boobs have already gone like rocks and I have daily back ache which is fairly uncomfortable but only ever lasts for 5 minutes. Today I’ve started to feel sick.

anyway this feels really unreal and all I feel
is nerves. Too scared to be happy as it’s so early!

MrsF111 · 01/06/2023 12:25

Hi everyone! I just joined the fb group, found out I’m pregnant this morning, 2 days before I was due to start ivf. I’ve had a pretty rough 3 years TTC my first with 4 losses, praying this is finally my rainbow baby. Congratulations to everyone on here 💕💕

No with private groups they can't see that you're a member x

jamontoast2 · 01/06/2023 13:34

@Ihatewinding I wouldn’t read too much into the line progression. I had my second blood beta today and I was in bits thinking it was awful as my lines looked no different but it had actually tripled, I couldn’t believe it. Seems like lines don’t always correlate to HCG after a certain point so try not to worry too much.

@MrsF111 thats amazing! Keeping everything crossed for you!

@HashB yes pregnancy ‘begins’ at date of the last LMP so you’re technically pregnant for the first 2 weeks! I just think at least we’re closer to maybe meeting them!

@Tilly18101 I’ve been terrible for this too! Went out for a fancy celebratory dinner on Monday are ordered lamb to split with a friend only to have it really pink inside! Had a tiny nibble of a seared end but was so sad!

Also I definitely agree with everyone about falling asleep early and waking up at silly o’clock. I’m a shift worker and already wondering how my long day shifts are going to go!

GoingToInfinity · 01/06/2023 14:26

Can I tentatively join?

I've had four different test go positive just after the 5 minute window (I'm sure I could see something on one of them at the 5 min mark) and I'm currently waiting on a clear blue digital to arrive this afternoon to confirm for certain either way, eek!

My cycle has been weird the last two months and I think I ovulated about 3 days late this month. I'm currently on cycle day 34 (I'm normally 28days) with no period but lots of cramps the last two days. If I go from my last period I'd be due on Feb 4th.

Greenergreenie · 01/06/2023 14:56

@MrsF111 congratulations my love and so sorry for your difficult journey xx
