Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

Best of luck @Rachae the no nausea symptom sounds amazing 😂 but then I also worry when I don’t have symptoms, I haven’t felt much yesterday and today so I’m already questioning why 🙈 why do we do this to ourselves 😅

GeriatricMumma · 28/06/2023 12:21

Good luck @Rachae

Rachae · 28/06/2023 12:31

Thank you everyone! It's a pending miscarriage for me... it's grown but it's still just past at 6 weeks mark when it should measure 8 weeks.
We've got mixed feelings about it, so it's not a straight up sad. We're so grateful to have our baby son, and in relieved that we've caught this relatively early. Good luck to all of you!

P.s. please do not fret over no pregnancy symptoms! I didn't have any in this one... But I never had any with my successful pregnancy either xxx

@Rachae I'm just so so sorry, it's really not fair xx

Ebonythoughts · 28/06/2023 13:39

Sending love @Rachae I’m sorry.

QueenieK · 28/06/2023 15:53

Sending love @Rachae.

I’m lurking around here - still have imposter syndrome / can’t believe this is happening.

It’s been a rough few weeks to be fair first being investigated for ??ectopic due to slow rising Hcg.l and told “this is not a viable pregnancy” and recommended to take methotrexate.

However due to feeling really well I asked to give it another week and last Monday they spotted the pregnancy sac, yolk sac and a little splodge within the sac but I was just under 6 weeks so although heartbeat wasn’t seen there was coloured “activity/pulsations” above the splodge.
I have to go back on Monday for another scan to see where we are.

I get the feeling that if all is well this is just the start of it all with being an “older” mummy this time around, but for the time being I’m mooching in and out of here 😊

AbsolutePlonker · 28/06/2023 16:10

@Rachae @QueenieK sending you love and best wishes, don't lose hope xxx

MrsC2711 · 28/06/2023 17:17

So sorry to hear this @Rachae x

@QueenieK can I be cheeky and ask how old? I’m 35 and hubby 43. Have a lovely mum group who I haven’t told yet but I feel it’s going to be very strange bringing a baby in to the mix (fingers crossed). I have a 8 year old son who I know is going to cry with excitement and pure joy lol

You are like the opposite of me and my DH.
I'm 42 and he is 36

MrsC2711 · 28/06/2023 17:49

Pastaf0rbreakfast · 27/06/2023 19:53

Thank you @Golaz my scan is actually Sunday, I have the dentist Wednesday 🤦‍♀️ baby brain in full swing 😂

I’m breastfeeding too and finding it very painful, how old is your babe? Mine is 22 months now and I’m really hoping to get to 2yrs but doing some gentle weaning now.

Haha! Aw Sunday is so soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻. My DD is 19 months. It’s so uncomfortable isn’t it? I would like to cut down but she is absolutely adamant that she doesn’t want to give up her milk bless her 🥺

Golaz · 28/06/2023 18:07

@Rachae im so sorry to hear about your scan.
@QueenieK that sounds really promising - have everything crossed for you.

AmyA64 · 28/06/2023 18:08

That’s so lovely about your DS @MrsC2711 🥰 bless him.
I have 2 older DC my youngest is 11 and I think he will be over the moon -
the oldest (selfish) one (like his dad)😂 will be indifferent but the way I see it is 2 extra pairs of hands and old enough to change a nappy or 2 or keep an eye on the baby while I have a wee or bath in relative peace!

MrsC2711 · 28/06/2023 19:49

He was a very poorly baby too having open heart surgery at 3 weeks old so I’m super nervous about that with this one too.
Such early days and I’m trying to be positive but as I’m due late in feb I’ve got two weeks to wait for the private scan for reassurance.
Nice to have so helping hands hey! I’m sure my boy will at least try…. For a little bit 😂😂 xx

QueenieK · 28/06/2023 20:40

@MrsC2711 yes until the novelty wears off!

I’m sure all will be fine with your little one this time around 🤗

Bali200 · 29/06/2023 06:28

Hi everyone, been lurking for a few days since finding out I’m expecting my first, I’m 5+6 and due 23rd Feb. Just wanted to say hi and sorry to those who have received sad news on here.

I know a few people have mentioned constipation but I’m having the opposite problem ahem can anyone else relate? No sickness so far but lots of cramping and sore boobs, gassy and bloating and going to the toilet a lot more than usual. Flying long haul tomorrow for a 2 week holiday and feeling a bit anxious.

Mummapenguin20 · 29/06/2023 07:58

I have a upset tummy tummy too soar boobs gassy and bloated 🤞 we all get sticky’s x

MrsC2711 · 29/06/2023 09:14

Hi! Congratulations!
im the same, upset stomach and so gassy it’s ridiculous haha! Bloating is unreal, I look how I’d expect at 14 weeks not 5+3 😂
Enjoy the holiday and relax, you’ll be fine 😍xx

xoxogossipmum · 29/06/2023 09:20
