Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

I went for a scan today and am 7+6. I wasn’t sure about dates as I’ve only had one post partum cycle, but that does fit with my thinking. We saw the little heartbeat which was magical. It’s starting to feel real now!

@KittyKat1989 so lovely!

ttcat37 · 21/06/2023 19:20

Thank you @GeriatricMumma. All went well. I’m 6 weeks today but baby is measuring 6w5d! Saw the little heartbeat 🥰
I also have a 4cm cyst in my left ovary which isn’t ideal!

Axc123 · 21/06/2023 19:22

Hey guys, help please…

Trigger warning discharge ❗️

I have noticed a difference in my discharge, I’m 6+2 and when I’m wiping I’m noticing a beige/pale yellow colour. Texture same as the usual white creamy stuff, but I’ve never known it to be this colour. No pain, nothing, but I can’t find a lot online. Yellow mean’s infection it says, but it’s not yellow yellow, just tinged.

anyone had similar?

Don't worry about the cyst, I have a 5cm cyst and they have always said don't worry unless it's symptomatic

@Axc123 I thought it was leukkhorea (spelling) basically pregnancy discharge that can be white, cream or pale yellow. As long as no burning or offensive smell. Mine is creamy, sometimes slightly pale yellow, and lots of it

xTinkerbell · 21/06/2023 21:03

@mumtotwox I haven’t found out with either of mine but did have really strong suspicions. Not planning to find out this time either

Danni33 · 21/06/2023 21:06

Hope your scan went well! I’ve booked myself in for a private 6 weeks scan this Sunday.

Axc123 · 21/06/2023 21:36

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Thankyou for reassuring me, I think once you put the word yellow into Google it thinks BAD lol, when i don’t quite mean a bright yellow!

Thank you, she said it might go away when baby becomes reliant on the placenta

babyD20 · 21/06/2023 21:49

I've seen lots of talk about discharge tonight I know it's TMI but I've been so worried as I've literally had none at all, with my last pregnancy I had soo much. Has anyone experienced this?

Rachae · 22/06/2023 06:42

@Axc123 I had pale yellow/ sometimes neon yellow discharge all through my successful pregnancy last year. A lot of my mum group friends did too, don't worry about it. Always best getting checked for a UTI tho.

I've seen a few older mum posts pop up - hey to those! I've just turned 38.

Feeling slightly different this morning, so I'm wondering. 9 weeks/ 8 weeks corrected scan is next Wednesday so we'll see. I've been absolutely floored through the night and not roused, but last night woke frequently (like I do when not preg). Also no head "haze" this morning. We'll see! Xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 22/06/2023 07:21

@Rachae sorry to misunderstand, what are you wondering? I'd say it's fairly normal for things to change from day to day. I felt fine yesterday and not tired at all. Today I feel morning sick and dizzy. Having to travel into london in a crowded train shortly and dreading it

sludgefactory · 22/06/2023 07:28

Has anyone had period-like cramps? I’m getting them a fair amount, no blood though. I’m 4 + 4 and have sore boobs and slight nausea but nothing major. The cramps are worrying me though!

Soph2512 · 22/06/2023 07:39

@sludgefactory I am about the same sort of time as you and yes I have also had cramps, well more of a full dull achey cramp I have read that it can be perfectly normal :)

Rachae · 22/06/2023 07:42

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 ahh sorry! Yes I've been wondering for a while if this pregnancy will work out, as I'm measuring a week behind. The consultant said that the scan next week will confirm either that I ovulated late, or that it's slow to progress. (These usually end in MC before first trimester)
This obvs isn't applicable to everyone who measures behind and some catch up.. just with my history of reoccurrent MC's (5), I always prepare for the worst. Where I've mc'd before... my tiredness went away. This is personal and unique to me tho, and for everyone else symptoms do definitely fluctuate

sludgefactory · 22/06/2023 07:45

Thanks @Soph2512 , I’m trying to stay calm and not get too worried about every little thing but they feel so much like period pains!

Soph2512 · 22/06/2023 07:47

@sludgefactory yes me too its so hard isnt it. I have so much anxiety about loosing this baby so the cramps are defo not helping that!

Also on a crowded train to london. I'm feeling quite symptomless today apart from odd stretching cramps

Danni33 · 22/06/2023 08:36

Can I ask people and sex? I’m just wondering if people have had a sex drive at all?
For me I have completely no interest. My partner is getting frustrated and I just keep rolling over every night I cant do it
