Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Finally phoned to make my booking appt (i’ve been putting it off tbh, kept convincing myself something was going to go wrong but couldn’t any longer). I’m 6 weeks today, booking appointment is the first of August and scan is the 8th. That’s the latest booking appt I’ve had with all 3 pregnancies but I’m assuming it’s because I’ve called later this time.

Hoping to book a private scan for 8 weeks all going well so I’m counting down to that

I called and have my midwife appointment on the 2nd of August (she is on leave all of July hence why it's later) and then my scan on the 10th of August. Will book a private as well!

@xTinkerbell @mumtotwox How very exciting for you both :) when would you normally call for the appointment?

@Soph2512 I'm in Scotland and they tend to book you in from 4 weeks but I know each trust is different. I've always called around 5 weeks and got my appointments straight away. I guess it's just when you feel ready as it can feel quite overwhelming (especially if you've gone through loss) etc ❤️

@mumtotwox I might wait for a week or so, I have full anxiety at the moment over the not knowing whats going to happen. I should get my bloods back this week though :)

@mumtotwox so 4 weeks 6 days but I ov late so im only 16 / 17 DPO. I would just rather know either way, the Doctor was soo awful too and super rude so that also didnt help.

@Soph2512 I’m in Scotland too, I think with my last two I called somewhere between 4&5 weeks. With my second I had bleeding towards the end of week 5 and the EPU wouldn’t scan me as I was under 6 weeks so at least now I know they’ll check it anything is wrong. I’m sorry the doctor was so rude to you, hope you get some answers soon!

@mumtotwox we are very close on booking/appt scan dates! Still feeling a little anxious but something about reaching 6 weeks is a bit of a positive for me. how are you doing?

@xTinkerbell Ah no way! Hello Scottish mummy 😊 Love that we are close in dates and it's baby 3 as well right? I feel the same about that 6 week mark! Have you got many symptoms this time? I've had terrible nausea the past 2 days which I didn't have with the boys 👀 What's your EDD?

@Soph2512 I'm so sorry you received that service 😢 I know it's easier said than done but keep positive and busy! The days will fly in and you will get those answers.

@mumtotwox Yeah I’m baby 3 as well! How old are your little ones? Not too many symptoms but far definitely more nausea than I had with the last two. EDD is Feb 14th but I have short cycles so wouldn’t be surprised if it was a few days earlier. what about you?

@mumtotwox there definitely is a bit of reassurance in hitting the 6 week mark, hopefully all goes okay for us.

@LalalaBubs @xTinkerbell Oh wow we have little ones close in age, that's so exciting. Are you going to find out the sex? We found out with our first then did a reveal with family for the second as they missed out on a lot because of lockdown. Really want to keep this one a surprise but how do people do it?! 😂

So I've been having some light brown spotting on and off when I wipe for the last week. I got it before I tested positive so thought my period was coming and then it's just appeared maybe twice a day at random times. I've also had some light cramping on and off.

I had a late loss last year so my bereavement Midwife put me in touch with EPU but obviously they can't do anything at this stage (4 weeks) but will book me in for an early scan at 6 weeks. She said it could be a number of things. I just wondered if anyone else had had this before. What will be will be but it's so nerve wracking, especially after what happened last year x

Hello! I'm already on a Feb 24 group so hope you won't mind me joining here too!

Unexpectedly got my BFP last week, think I'm due 21/22 of Feb although not entirely sure as my cycles are irregular and I've been 2-3 weeks on clearblue since last Wednesday.

This is baby number 4 (also C-section number 4) and mt youngest child is 8 (oldest is 20's!).

I'm 42, will be 43 when baby is due,

I've already got a scan booked (NHS) for next week due to previous history.

I had eclampsia with seizures in pregnancy and pre-eclampsia with my last two.

Swapped my heart meds today and now on labetalol, aspirin and high dose folic acid.

Lack of symptoms is worrying me a bit

Light brown spotting is very common (without pains) at this stage but defo mention to your Gp & midwife xx

@GeriatricMumma thank you so much, it's all just a big worry! Yes mentioned it to the right people but I wish there was some kind of window into the body to see how it was all going - the unknown is scary. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy x
