Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

Can I join?
LMP 21 April
BFP 21 May but still faint line, strong progression from then.
I had an early scan on the 3rd June should of been 6w 1d but they back dated us to 5 weeks 1 day which makes sense as would expect dark line at 4 weeks.

Due February 2024!

I’m in south east too @AbsolutePlonker and I’ve booked a scan at window to the womb when I’ll be 8+1 according to last period.

My local clinic had a deal on for an early scan for £69 (should be £89 I think) but then the next day it had gone up to £79 so if you see a deal, make sure you book straight away!

I’ve had really intense anxiety the last few days. I suffer with anxiety and it always seems to be exacerbated by the first trimester.

I’ve had miscarriage dreams the last 2 nights, didn’t feel nauseous yesterday or this morning. Ended up taking another test today and the test line was really dark, darker than the control line so that’s helped a bit. Had some nausea again earlier. I think I’ll book an early scan for between 7&8 weeks if all goes okay before then.

Trying very hard to remind myself I can’t control this and to take it as it comes

@xTinkerbell I've been having miscarriage dreams too! The anxiety is getting to us in our sleeps!

xTinkerbell · 13/06/2023 21:01

@xoxogossipmum I had a miscarriage dream with DD who is now a crazy 18 month old so I keep telling myself it doesn’t mean anything but it’s so hard to quiet the anxiety isn’t it?

Is anyone looking at line progression? I took the top test two days ago, and the bottom just now, and I think the bottom one looks slightly lighter. I'm also 17dpo , wouldn't I expect it to be darker by now?

(Sorry to be neurotic, but honest opinions welcomed - I'm scared to get false hope this time)

Hi all. Can I get a handhold please and anyone’s experiences? Apple Watch tracks my temps and I’ve woken up to this massive temp drop 😭

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I think that line progression is fine from my experience. I was using those exact tests and I was initially worried that my line wasn’t getting that much darker, but because I’m an IVF pregnancy I then went in for serial blood HCG tests. They really didn’t correspond to my test lines at all and it was useful to have the two results side by side. My HCG went from 200 to 600 in 48hrs and honestly my lines looked the same! I’ve just done one of those same tests now 33dpo (still a bit paranoid before my scan tomo) and honestly although the control line is much lighter, the test line isn’t that darker than about 14dpo, so I would try not to worry yourself too much.

My lines didn't get darker for 4 days and I was so worried! Just had a scan yesterday and measuring how I should at 6+1

Please don't worry x

@jamontoast2 thanks so much for being so kind to reply. I'm so happy you got such a good rise! Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

@ttcat37 hopefully it is nothing, but I can't help sorry because I never temped after a positive last time. How far along are you and how are you feeling? And bleeding or cramps? It's probably just a progesterone fluctuation xx

@babyD20 thank you for replying also. That's so lovely on your scan! Your name seems familiar - do you have a toddler born in Jan/Feb? I feel like we might have been on a thread back then also

Oh my god yes haha, my little girl was born on the 22nd of January but she was due feb. When was your little one born? How funny!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2023 08:28

@babyD20 oh that's so funny, mine was due in Feb and born the day before yours!

ttcat37 · 14/06/2023 08:37

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thank you. I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms really but not had any cramps or bleeding. My tests are still strong and a got a 3+ on cb digital this morning, same as a few days back. But this massive drop has really worried me

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2023 09:13

@ttcat37 I think you having your 3+ right on time is a really good sign. I personally hid away my thermometer last time because I read temps while pregnant tend to stay high for 18 days and then fluctuate. I'd be more inclined to chalk it up to a weird temperature today, as I know mine fluctuated if I had the fan on, the window was open, had used a thinner blanket etc.

So sorry you're having this stress. There's nothing relaxing about pregnancy xx

xTinkerbell · 14/06/2023 09:18

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 try not to stress yourself. With my last pregnancy I had some early bleeding and was advised to take a test in a week to make sure it was still positive which it was. EPU wouldn’t scan me though so I booked a private scan for 7 weeks. For over a week I tested constantly and analysed the lines, freaking out when some were darker. Not once did I have a test where the test line was darker than the control. I was convinced I had miscarried but she’s 18 months and currently shouting at me from the back of the car

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2023 14:03

Thanks @xTinkerbell. I think I'll test again in a few days and then just leave it. I'm up for booking a private scan, I did last time, and it was really good

Rachae · 14/06/2023 14:14

Hey everyone, gosh sorry to pop up again!

Rollercoaster once more. I got scanned today at another (better) hospital and they saw a yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat. So I was essentially misdiagnosed a miscarriage yesterday and I'm pretty relieved to have not taken the medical management.

I'm dated a week behind, which can either mean I ovulated late - which I think I did... Or it's slow to progress. Time will tell and next scan is 2 weeks time.

So for now... Im back and I'm in shock! Xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2023 14:22

Omg @Rachae what a brilliant update!

jamontoast2 · 14/06/2023 14:37

@Rachae oh my word what a rollercoaster you’re on. Fantastic news that there was a little heartbeat though! I’ll keep everything crossed! I’m sure it’ll be a long 2 weeks - I hope you’ve got some nice things to keep you busy.

summerfinn · 14/06/2023 14:41

Can I join in. Just got positive test . I'm 4 weeks and 2 days. Due February 20th. It's half a surprise as we only half arsed tried once. I have two ds already. 14 and 3 🙈 I'm also 37 this month . I'm in shock 🙈 it does explain why Iv felt so sick for a few weeks. Anyone else expecting and similar age to me?

mashm24 · 14/06/2023 16:33

Hello everyone, congratulations to those of you expecting! Please can I join? Had BFP Monday and think I'm 4+4 ish xxxx

Rachae · 14/06/2023 17:13

@summerfinn congratulations! I turned 38 this month but I'm a little earlier in the parenting game than you ... Got an 11 month old currently 😊 xx

Janeykat · 14/06/2023 17:37

How is everyone feeling? These first few weeks are quite strange, i keep forgetting im pregnant 😅had my first GP apt today (in Ireland) at 5+5 and was told i may not get a scan or meet with hospital/midwife until 20 weeks😲 so will definitely be booking a private one before that, theres no way I can wait that long.

xoxogossipmum · 14/06/2023 17:41

@Rachae such good news. you must be feeling a rollercoaster of emotions! Sending positive thoughts for your next scan ❤️

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2023 18:12

@summerfinn 38 over here also, with a 16 month old.

@Janeykat feeling okay here, just so very bloated. I already look about five months pregnant just from the water retention. A bit queasy, and have some work events this week
