Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

Hello please can I join too?

Had a positive test on Friday when my period was due. This is my second pregnancy. It's been a while as my DD is 4 now and I'm 39 so feeling rather nervous. I currently have no symptoms apart from a little itching but the test lines are very strong. With my daughter is felt sick and exhausted right from the start.

mashm24 · 12/06/2023 08:46

@Blisax hope everything goes well today x

Hi Everyone! Congratulations on your lovely news. I got my BFP today after around 7 months of TTC & a miscarriage back in Jan. I'm currently around 5 weeks estimated due date 16th Feb. Really nervous but hoping everything goes well this time. My DS has just turned 2, really looking forward to seeing him become a big brother!

vvit · 12/06/2023 12:05

@Bleubird same as we, we had mc in jan, and due 13th feb. Feeling so anxious! Got early scan booked with nhs on 22nd, would hopefully be 6+3 then..
when we had mmc in jan baby measured 6+5 and we went to have an early pregnancy scan was meant to be just over 7weeks. Nobody tells you have anxious preg you will have after something like that happening :( 🤞

Blisax · 12/06/2023 16:04

Just a wee update.. So there's still no yolk sac, baby, etc.. the sac has grown, they are thinking it's an anembryonic pregnancy.. They booked me in for another scan Thursday next week as the sac is under 25mm, they can't say or do anything until its over that..
I'm holding out a tiny bit hope that maybe it's still dates off & too early, but the nurses etc said it's unlikely..
Bit heartbroken, but I wish you all the best for tomorrow's scan sweet, I'll be keeping everything crossed & update if /when you can
Hope you all have happy & healthy pregnancies ❤️

@Blisax aww I'm so sorry to hear that 💔. Sending you a big virtual hug xxx

HappyFeet63 · 12/06/2023 19:27

Having a mild panic as I don’t feel any symptoms - 4+5 - does anyone else have no symptoms at this point?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 12/06/2023 19:54

@Blisax how stressful I'm so sorry. Wishing you luck x

vvit · 12/06/2023 19:55

Ah @Blisax I'm so so sorry, that's horrible to hear, and even harder to have that little bit of hope for another week, I'm so sorry, mc is the worst thing that can happen to anyone, sending you a big hug x

Tilly18101 · 12/06/2023 21:34

I’m so sorry @Blisax - keeping everything crossed just in case for you xxxx

ttcat37 · 12/06/2023 22:13

@Blisax sorry to hear your news 💐but fingers crossed for you just in case 🤞🏻

@HappyFeet63 I’m 4+5 today too and apart from a bit of tiredness some days I have no symptoms. Don’t know if that’s normal though!

mashm24 · 13/06/2023 06:45

@Blisax so sorry to hear this ❤️

@Rachae Good luck for today sweety! 🤞🤞 xx

jamontoast2 · 13/06/2023 09:29

@Blisax I’m so sorry it’s so difficult. That’s so upsetting and tricky. Will be keeping everything crossed for you.

@Rachae wishing you the best of luck. Also keeping everything crossed.

Rachae · 13/06/2023 10:04

Hey everyone, thanks for the kind words this morning. No joy here .. measures the same as 5 weeks at 7 weeks and no yolk sac. I'm thankful we've caught it early as I had no signs of MC. Where you can, my best advice is to get an early scan as I would hate to have found this out at 12 weeks.
Fingers crossed for healthy and happy pregnancies for all of you xxx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 13/06/2023 10:17

@Rachae oh I'm so so sorry. I've been there also before, and since will always get an early private scan for the same reasons you mentioned. I had dark tests, pregnancy symptoms, and no indication things were going wrong.

Hope you're okay.

@Blisax hope you're okay also. It's so hard to be left in limbo still

Whippetmother · 13/06/2023 10:31

So sorry to hear this @Rachae sending a virtual hug and wishing all the best for you and your family x x

@Blisax so sorry also to hear that things are still unclear. Sending you all the well wishes x x x

mashm24 · 13/06/2023 10:37

@Rachae 😥 so sorry lovely. Please take care of yourself x x

Tentatively joining if that's ok! Five-ish weeks, massive shock as I'm flipping ancient (43)! Had two chemicals at the start of 2022 and then periods went haywire so assumed I was fully perimenopausal and that was that... so trying to walk the tightrope of not getting too attached to the idea, or freaking out about the enormity of it - with kind of limited success! Also absolutely zero symptoms really so feels totally surreal...

xTinkerbell · 13/06/2023 12:43

@Rachae & @Blisax thinking of you both ❤️

@HappyFeet63 we are exactly the same gestation and I have quite a bit of nausea. However, in my previous two pregnancies I had zero symptoms at this stage. In fact I had very minimal symptoms the entire first trimester and both those pregnancies ended in healthy babies.

mashm24 · 13/06/2023 13:30

@holym0ly awww that's lovely. You are most certainly not ancient haha! Congratulations to you and welcome to the thread🩷💙 enjoy the no symptoms. I did not really have any at 5 weeks and now I'm currently in bed at 7 weeks and wanting to cry & avoid any smells😂

AbsolutePlonker · 13/06/2023 15:39

Feeling incredibly sick and exhausted today. On holiday this week and I'm gutted I'm missing out on the wine!!!!
I'm thinking about having an early scan too after hearing from Blisax and Rachae (Im so sorry 💔). First day of last period was 4th May so I'm only 5 weeks. Any recommendations of who to go with and when? I'm based in a big town in the South East with lots of providers.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 13/06/2023 15:51

@AbsolutePlonker how far along are you? Just check if you want a scan before about 7 to 7.5 weeks that they have a transvaginal probe. You can't always see the heartbeat early on on an abdominal scan

xTinkerbell · 13/06/2023 16:30

I’ve had really intense anxiety the last few days. I suffer with anxiety and it always seems to be exacerbated by the first trimester.

I’ve had miscarriage dreams the last 2 nights, didn’t feel nauseous yesterday or this morning. Ended up taking another test today and the test line was really dark, darker than the control line so that’s helped a bit. Had some nausea again earlier. I think I’ll book an early scan for between 7&8 weeks if all goes okay before then.

Trying very hard to remind myself I can’t control this and to take it as it comes
