Hello 😁

Is there a thread for babies due February 2024 yet? I've just got my positive, although super early so not getting too excited.

Due 1 Feb / 31 Jan. I had irregular periods so hard to pinpoint exactly.

Hope to have others join me soon :) x

@xoxogossipmum I went on holiday a couple of weeks ago between 4-5 weeks, I was a bit nauseas on the plane and travelling but otherwise all good! I think if you're feeling ok, go for it!! It really helps the time to go quicker as well.

@Janeykat it's definitely so much harder with little ones running about. Thank you, hope you get some rest too🥰

Xx

I'm so exhausted today I physically can't get out my bed! It's like the flu without the symptoms of flu if that makes sense 🤣 like somebody has completely zapped any energy. Anybody else experiencing this?

I’m so glad you’ve said this, I’ve never felt fatigue like it! I’m so exhausted, I have to drag myself to do anything, it’s like a complete body wipe out. I don’t remember this with DD and I’m dreading the next few weeks until it settles down, with a busy job and toddler DD I just don’t feel like I’ll have any energy for anything!

hoping it passes soon!

mashm24 · 08/06/2023 21:34

@Tilly18101 I feel your pain. I felt bad today because my toddler wanted loads of attention and I was just lying there most the day like a potato! I don't remember being this fatigued with my first either - but the nausea was worse - so I'd take this over the sickness I think!

Hopefully in a few weeks it will ease up. X

Anyone on progesterone here? Started today and just worried about side effects, can you really be more tired? 😭

Yes I'm on pessaries twice daily - are you on the pessaries? No major side effects really-feel really bloated, but think that's just a normal pregnancy effect at this stage, so probably not down to the progesterone. The only annoying thing is the mess the pessaries make!

jamontoast2 · 09/06/2023 07:22

@vvit yes I’m on progesterone in oil injections, and the pessaries 3x a day. They do make me very tired but I find if I go to bed early and allow a long sleep window I do at least sleep very deeply and peacefully. But by about 7pm the count down to bed is on. Also they make constipation much worse - sorry for TMI but honestly you gotta try and go poop at least once a day on them or you’ll get into a state. I’m currently eating half a tin of prunes a day and that’s helping. Regarding the mess - you can use them as a suppository as well which is less messy. The absorption is the same.

vvit · 09/06/2023 12:32

@Bessie85 @jamontoast2 I only started taking it yesterday, it's twice a day and I went to private doctor to get it as with nhs have to wait until 6+ weeks for the can which is booked in at 7 weeks.
He only did 200mg so not as strong as some other but after my mc I feel like I wanted to give the best possible chance and my progesterone levels been so low. Will wait for nhs to hopefully prescribe for the rest of 2 months as they aren't cheap

Rachae · 09/06/2023 17:45

Hey ladies.. hope you're well! I left the Facebook group on Monday (?I think) due to an early scan measuring early and presumed miscarriage. I'm tentatively joining again here as I don't really know what's going on.
I haven't miscarried and the pregnancy test lines have just got darker and darker. Pregnancy symptoms have also ramped up. This hasn't happened before with previous mcs- the tests would get lighter... hospital has also ruled out ectopic.
There's a chance I jumped the gun and it was just too early to see anything... So I'm going to see what happens on the scan on Tuesday to see the difference xx

Pastaf0rbreakfast · 09/06/2023 18:42

That sounds really stressful @Rachae really hoping things go well at your next scan.

I’m experiencing intense period-type cramps today, perhaps a bit deeper and sharper than normal cramps. My legs are also really achey - think I’m 5 weeks today. The cramps are worry but everything I read says it can be normal 🤷‍♀️

mashm24 · 09/06/2023 18:47

@Rachae oh that's very promising news!! Glad to see your name pop up again. How are you coping with everything. Hopefully Tuesday brings you answers🥰

@Pastaf0rbreakfast my legs are seriously aching 24/7, especially at night time, it's highly frustrating. I think the period type cramps are pretty common. Xx

Thanks @Pastaf0rbreakfast x
Thanks @mashm24 just willing the time away really! 🤣 It's an odd wait as we'd sort of made peace with it and I had this whole sense of not having 2u2 and being ok with that! Now I'm thrown into limbo really. It's seeming like it could be a reality tho, that the two scan machines have just produced different results as early.. and I ovulated late. We'll see! Hope you're ok xx

Pastaf0rbreakfast · 09/06/2023 19:47

@mashm24 Sorry you are having leg pains too, but glad to know I’m not alone as it seemed like a weird symptom!

jamontoast2 · 09/06/2023 20:41

@Rachae im so sorry you’ve been having such a tough time. I’ll keep everything crossed that you get the outcome that’s right for you. I can imagine your head must be spinning with the possibilities of it all.

Tilly18101 · 09/06/2023 20:55

@Rachae keeping everything crossed for you lovely xxx

Rachae · 09/06/2023 21:35

Thanks @jamontoast2 @Tilly18101 xxx

Mumtobe2024 · 09/06/2023 21:48

Hey lovely!
Congratulations 🎉

I found out a few days ago. I have pcos & my periods are that irregular it took me a while to actually test and im literally still in so much shock. My clear blue said 3+ weeks & my app says around 5+4 but im not 100% sure until my appointment on Monday.

I am soooo excited but extremely anxious for the unknown. Im slightly worried that Im the only one who feels more anxious than anything at the minute.

How are you feeling? 💕

Blisax · 09/06/2023 22:04

@Rachae I'm totally stuck in the same limbo as you, had a scan on Saturday last week (private) as I've had previous loses.. & they seen a sac that was all, so my local epu are scanning me Monday, hoping to see more!
My tests are darker, etc. So God knows 🤷‍♀️

Due to this I thought I was round 7 weeks as my lmp was 19th April, so could be wrong.. could be due Jan or Feb.. I'll maybe join the Facebook group after Monday, depending on the outcome
But congratulations to you all, I wish you happy & healthy pregnancies 💕

Whippetmother · 09/06/2023 22:21

Nice to see you reappear @Rachae - so sorry for the whirlwind you’re experiencing. Fingers crossed you get the outcome that is best for you and the family. xx

Rachae · 10/06/2023 08:43

@Blisax thanks, aww the wait is so tough isn't it and sorry to hear that you've also experienced losses. Do you know what you were when they saw the sac? My yolk sac didn't appear with my son until 5+5.
I'm 7 weeks Tuesday for my scan or 6 weeks corrected, if I ovulated late.
Fingers crossed for Monday for you xx

@Whippetmother thanks xxx

Blisax · 10/06/2023 21:07

I had worked myself out to be 7 weeks, according to my last period date I should be about 7.. But here we are 🤦‍♀️
When she scanned me she said the sac was measuring 10mm, which I've been told is equivalent to 5 weeks, I'm really hoping this is the case, and by the time I get scanned Monday, just over a week since the first scan, there's going to be even a wee yolk sac, it would put me a bit more at ease.
The wait is absolutely agonising, I hope you are coping OK!
I'll update Monday, will keep everything crossed for you!
So wish I was someone who found out at like 20 weeks I was pregnant 🤦‍♀️🤣 I've no idea how they do that! Xx

Rachae · 11/06/2023 08:52

@Blisax ahh it's agonising isn't it! Entirely possibly though, that you ovulated late. Last period date isn't too helpful unless you did a clear blue ovulation test and got the 'solid' smiley- then you could track ovulation Vs scan measurement. I never got a smiley this cycle and stopped testing at day 16... So I could have ovulated later than that.

Fingers crossed! Xxx

Hello, I'd like to join. I got a positive test today, a day or so late for my period. I've had a little light brown spotting, so I'm tentatively joining. If all goes well this will be baby number two 🤞

Hope everyone is okay!

mashm24 · 11/06/2023 21:23

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Congratulations and welcome 🥰!!

Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend, how are you ladies holding up in the heat? I've felt pretty bad the last two days. Thought I might have gotten away with the horrible symptoms, then bam, here they are!

Hello all - congratulations to everyone.
I got my BFP yesterday at 9dpo. Never had one so early before. I'm due 23rd Feb.

Is there a Facebook group yet?

Rachae · 12/06/2023 08:04

@Blisax thinking of you today xx
